viii are back this time it's war war for the bottom of the apes opens July the 11th now and obviously you're back in the role of a Caesar so there's you now then but don't it Caesar yeah we do that it is really mean you know how they do it but I don't know how to do it and humans talk about it this well in this version no that comes out of it well I mean it's a war you know so both apes and humans are toe-to-toe and and having a bad time of it so it's basically then in this story it's moved on from I don't know if people saw the last one dawn or in fact the first one rides but it's um it's got to a point where there's been a start the whole saga is a virus which was created through an outsider's drug gone wrong and then an aide called Caesar becomes enhanced by this intelligence enhancing drug and he's brought up with human beings he's been thrown into a facility at the sort of at a teenage if you like in the other films and then he leads them to freedom and then then the virus breaks out and in this one it turns to all-out war between Apes and humans so yeah it's bleak it's a bleak start the film bears a lot of heart a lot of emotion and editing we've got a nanny you've got another movie your work you have you finished Jungle Book now the motion capture version I don't know where we're we're still in the process of making it and it comes out next year so it's an amazing cast and there's a beautiful central performance by young axe playing Mowgli it's a much darker version than the Disney one that came out last year as a pg-13 but it's yeah it's a it's a really and that's all performance capture so all the actors Christian Bale's playing Bagheera and Benedict Cumberbatch's playing Shere Khan tiger and take marches playing Carver snake and they're and they're all they're doing the same kind of thing as you just seen to had a sort of similar experience and the zoo didn't you well that was um that was on King Kong yeah I did very I have some long-standing affair with the gorilla called Ziya about ten years ago and she's lovely lovely gorilla and we hang out for it for a couple of months I was observing her and we and we got you know played games and sort of you know with each other and it was all bother lovely and then and then and then one way about you know yeah but the rain my wife came down to visit you've got to come down and meet Zion and and and when when she came down literally Ziya got this bottle of water which has minerals in and bitumens and she just went live and squirts was right right in Ryan's face but you can please do of course is a thing called Tooting which is a [Laughter] [Applause] when did Sims do that they're very excited is that a happy thing or a bad thing it's econo it's a kind of territorial thing of a kind of and it's quite scary yes defending territory okay I thought it is a sofa of actors so and are there kind of any I wouldn't think tricks but are there any shortcuts into playing a great ape a great and well well Quadra petting is a large part of it okay so quadrupling is walking on all fours and I happen to have with me some arm extensions which we could that we could all ever go all right and these in fact are how we called you fit so we can all have a gun and I think I think we should just go no not yet well let me just show you so these are these are looking it's got like marsh motion captured on Sonya already so we can shoot and so anyway so you so let me just this a good place to stand in here wicked where wherever you want to go yeah so so first of all you know if you're going to get into into being an eighth like it like I'm sure silverback gorilla then you tend to have you back slash spitting out if your if your chimpanzee then yet then you're tucked in like this so you can choose between the gorilla or or to vent whichever you like yes all your money right off inside any stuff like that you can see and we're going to do this so the New England Rana tune country look very slippery shoes on for a role of Indiana senator see you watches are you you're going to be so good at this you're gonna be so good at this I'm glad I wore such tight trousers how do you beat your chest with pieces a tough one so hang on what did you think in frenzy way that was usual television documentary after image over here okay I don't do a wolf as a chimp and the surface I know you are a huge fan of our Destin ID so I wondered what would Gollum we're really sorry I like poking with a stick but I want to get my money's worth so good Gollum into juice be ready for this no okay it's all of that but it was over that board down there okay here we go Gollum if you think I'm eating tonight my precious time seemingly eight minutes not satisfied I want the finger to so many okay now precious time
