Wiggins chasing guys to the hoop and then using his length to block the short is EXACTLY what Wiseman needs to learn. He tries to stay chest to chest with them all the way to the hoop, and they get into his body and draw the foul. I recall McGee and Bogut both being good with the "trailing block" against smaller players on drives.

Highlights can be misleading, of course, but these show Wiggins really blossoming as a defender.

So much on the offensive end can be forgiven when players put 100% effort in on defense. Wiggins seems like the same offensive player he’s always been (except shooting better from 3 than usual), but because he’s been SO locked in defensively I’ve loved watching him, more than if he were hitting shots at a higher rate but slacking on D. Never thought I’d say I love Wiggins but here we are!

he's learned to bait his guys to thinking that they've beaten him then blocks them. lots of confidence on his length and athleticism. he definitely knows he's also a freak

There was a play against the Nets where he stripped KD from behind and blocked Kyrie at the rim in the same possession. That was beautiful

He is just so accurate with those blocks against the backboard. He let's them flip it up and because of his length and athleticism he has enough time to get his backhand to it.
