welcome to another training session of the cymatic manager in this training we will see how to use the unscaled function to generate analog outputs for the previous training session you can check the links in the description box before starting today's video I want to request you guys to subscribe my channel to stay connected with me let's starts today's training session first you can connect any Siemens CPU with analog outputs to your PC using MPI cable I am using CPU 314 to DP which has two analog output channels first we will create an empty project and upload your station or CPU to PC this way CPU hardware configuration and programming blocks will be uploaded to PC first we will go to the hardware configuration of the CPU here you can see that the CPU has 5 analog inputs and 2 analog output channels now if we double-click on the analog module and select address menu here you can see the address for analog input and analog outputs the address of first analog output channel is word 752 and the address of second analog input word 754 now if we go to the output menu here we can select 0 to 10 volts or 4 to 20 milliamp per output for each output Channel you now let's see the wiring diagram of the analog module as we have selected the voltage output for analog output so voltage output for channel 5 is at pin 16 and pin 20 is common or ground hence voltage output 0 to 10 volts will be available across pin 16 and pin 16 we will connect a voltage meter across these terminals to measure analog output let's go the the cymatic manager and go to block 1 and we can select here ladder programing now if we browse the standard library and expand the converting blocks here confined FC 106 function just drag and drop this function on the ladder network in this function we can enter a real value tin input within high & low limits for example if low and high limit of 0 and 100 and we put 50 at an input we will get 5 volts at analog output means real value in input will be proportional to 0 to 10 volts at pqw 752 output channel now we belowed the program in the CPU and go online you we can create a variable table to modify the values of md-10 register you now if enter the riddle number 50 output is 5 volts now if enter the red Mamba zero I'd put a zero volts you now if enter the riddle number five output is 0.5 volts you now if enter the real number 95.5 output is nine point five five volts you I hope you understand that analog output is proportional to input rent value which we will enter in FC 106 function I hope you like today's session please channel to stay connected with me till next session good bye
