Hi guys! Welcome to my channel this is Tresha presenting a DIY project... How to make a chandelier lampshade... this is what it looks like in the end in the picture so if this is something that you're looking to do just keep watching so for this project you will need a mini glue gun, two or three glue sticks scissors or box cutter and old lampshade a 99' foot roll of clear crystal garland beads...a quantity of three and a ruler but I didn't use a ruler in this project so here's a picture of the old lampshade that I used and to get started you begin making a slit in the lampshade. I use my scissors to make the slit it was kind of not easy but as you once you get it cut make the first incision is a little bit easier after that. As you can see, here I am pulling the cloth and the plastic back and rolling it to the right to remove so I can have ... just the frame. There's still some left on the frame as you can see, so what you need to do is just peel it off. Here is the frame. This is what you'll need to use to make your chandelier lampshade. So what you do is plug in your glue gun I already have a glue stick in there that's kind of low so what I do is take a new one and just drop it in at the end of it and just push it in as I use it. So once your glue gun is hot and ready to go you'll see here that I'm pressing on the trigger to dispense the hot glue onto the end of the garland beads so you just want to put it on that one the tip one and then after you do that you press it onto the frame and then just let it hang. I don't cut it before. I just let it stay on the roll and then I just eyeball it and decide where I would like to cut it. So, for this project I wanted to have three long rows of beads and three short here. I didn't measure it at all. I just ,you know, just go off of how it looks. So, if you want the length, I can put it in the description below. So, here you know done most majority of the work I just wanted to show you the process of doing it. This project took about two to three hours. I was looking at TV as I was doing this so depending on where you are focusing your efforts I could take less or more time. It's a good project to do if you're trying to you know not really think about anything just a really easy breezy happy project to do. This is it! So, as I put the beads on, I rotate the frame. This makes it easier for you to maneuver and for the video. So here, I re-glued to rows. I didn't like how its position on the frame so you can just take off the hard glue and just re-glue like I showed you in the previous part of the video. So here's the finished project or the finished lampshade. It looks so pretty. This is a very inexpensive project. I think it cost less than $20 and I made two chandelier lampshades. So, I hope you enjoyed this video. Please be sure to LIKE and subscribe below and follow me on Instagram @ designedbytresha See you next time! you you
