An AMAZING day of beach metal detecting!

[Music] hey guys it's another beautiful morning out here we're at lido beach today before we uh get into the water we got a ring recovery to do so just like last week's video this guy was out enjoying his day at the beach and took off his ring just to be safe put it in the cup holder of his chair next thing you know big storm rolls in everyone's running around like crazy get back to their cars and he forgot it was in there and it went flying so hopefully we can find this for him it's a white gold plain men's band let's get right to it and find it all right this doesn't sound like a gold ring but i gotta dig everything just in case that sounds like foil look at all the junk yep it's just foil got a nice hit right next to that piece of foil it's in the scoop i don't see anything yet it's in here somewhere oh freaking pull tab nice down to tone right here it's in the scoop let's dump it out we got it it's a dime now this doesn't really sound like gold either but he said it was white gold and there's a lot of different alloys in white gold so you know you can never be too sure when you hear it so we gotta dig everything yeah this is just a freaking pull tab this is justin hey justin renourishment so it's kind of hard to gauge exactly where you were so in in relation to that lifeguard tower um you know how far away from that were you um it would have been north of that so would you say like halfway between the two lifeguard towers or or what do you think um probably not even that far so how how far from the water's edge would you say it was a good probably 20 20 yards 25 yards something like that okay all right yeah people were in front of us so we walked walked up over it and sat there we were we were at the farthest back set up of all the people that were set up okay well i think we're in the right area but we haven't come up with it yet so i'll uh i'll keep you posted i gridded the whole area out one way i'm gonna turn 90 degrees and start going the opposite way and hit that area again hopefully we can come up with it here shortly i'll get back to it and i'll uh i'll let you know if i find it thank you sir all right we'll talk to you soon all right guys that's it i can't believe it you know i was just about to call it quits and get out in the water and start my day he was right over where that green tent was you know right over there and uh he said you know the storm came in they packed up all their stuff they started taking off and he said they only made it a few steps before he realized that you know he left his ring in the cup holder they must have been standing right here when they went to check their stuff another ring is going back home we're not done yet uh we still got a full day of detecting ahead of us so i'm gonna get back to the truck drop off the ring and you know we'll get back out there stay tuned emptying all your junk oh you got a hot wheels car what's that you got a hot wheels car is that it pretty sure let's see wow good for you yeah there's a stamp in there i haven't i haven't read it yet but i wasn't very good on that excellent wow how far away 14k yeah yeah it was right next to i can see it over there that green canada dry ginger ale can that was sitting on top over there right next to it really yeah i pile up a bunch of those cans there yeah it's disgusting what people leave out there but uh yeah i'm gonna send the guy a picture and see if this is the one i'm sure it's gotta be the one it was right about where he said just a little bit farther towards us so that must have been where they were checking their chairs and stuff and it probably dumped out right then and there man it looked like somebody was digging out there though oh yeah someone was out there yep thankfully uh we beat him to it man a lot of junk out there today i feel good i was just about to call it quits too well good two hours it's been that long really just after 7 30 we hit the beach you know oh my god all right i'm gonna drop off my phone and wallet and everything and head out to the water [Music] all right guys i just got out in the water i got my first hit out here sounds a little junky but you never know it's in the scoop though it's really sandy here so i don't think i'm gonna find too much today yep there it is freaking pull tab guys look there's manatees right there wow those people have no idea i got a deep one right here so i was at the main beach for a while and while there were a lot of people there there just weren't any targets i mean we had this huge storm come in and it clearly just threw a whole bunch of loose sand on that beach and anything that's heavy is going to be real deep so i started walking down the beach aways oh still down there this is going to be a real deep one but i started walking down the beach aways just looking at the water and i was looking for dark spots where you know we might find a washout a little bit deeper water that might have some hard bottom and sure enough i walked down maybe about a half a mile and uh and i found a good area so i'm gonna stay i'm gonna really slow down stay here a while and i'll bet you we pull out something good so it just goes to show you know when you get to a spot don't make that your one spot you're gonna go to that day because it might be terrible so you know it pays to really just walk around a little bit and scope it out do a little scouting around and try to find a spot that's going to produce some better stuff let's see what we got come get a nice deep scoop here this is barely a blip on my machine but it repeats so there there is something down here all right it's in the scoop oh along with a whole bunch of other stuff but i see a steel leader so that's what we got we got an old spoon fishing spoon all right that is a much better sign than what i was looking at at the main beach that's what you want to see all these shells oh it's a pretty shell we'll let someone else find that though i don't really keep shells unless there's something special but all right let's keep going i just go all right guys another good sounding high tone let's see what the heck we got [Applause] there it is got a little bit of fishing lead all right all right nice loud one oh there it is part of someone's glasses been there for a very long time and i shouldn't have even turned off the camera because i took one step and got another screaming hit right here what the heck is that yeah i have no idea this is junk all right pretty decent sound in midtown oh i see something wow that's a cool looking earring i don't think it's anything precious but uh that's pretty cool we'll take it all right let's keep going nice hey how's it going looking for jewelry yeah i just found an i just found an earring a second ago i found a gold ring earlier this morning really yeah i just found that oh my god it's nothing real but it's so cool yeah you never know though there's a lot of real stuff out here and yeah never know when you're you'll find it thank you all right guys nice sounding high tone in the shallow water now it's just a matter of getting to it oh my goodness look how much shell i got though oh my that's gonna take a little while i'm gonna go right up to the shore here and dump this out there it is got ourselves a fishing weight [Music] all right we got a low tone right here oh boy that's a lot of seashells to look through i might have to take this back up on the beach and dump it out let's just go do it i can dig through that all day there it is guys got ourselves an earring cool yep another fishing weight guys i think it's lunch time well we didn't really find too much out in the water today i think the find of the day was justin's wedding ring so i'm gonna go meet up with him give it back let's see what he says well guys it's been 24 hours since i found justin's ring i'm actually on my way uh to meet up with him right now so justin lives about two hours away from me so we agreed to meet part way but i'm driving in a terrible thunderstorm i don't know if you just saw that lightning probably shouldn't even be holding the camera i'm not i'm going to make this real short because i got to be safe while i'm driving but uh i should probably be there in about i don't know 20 minutes or so so um you know let's get there give him his ring back how's it going i assume you're justin hey sean nice to meet you nice to meet you unbelievable i think this is for you yes yes it is that would be is that what we lost he tried to blame yeah so it's a match awesome were you guys hit by the storm were you guys running when the storm came or what happened we looked well with the storm we were looking yeah i mean when i got there i was in the area where i thought you guys were and i could see where someone was digging around there and i didn't know if it was you guys or not it could have been someone else but well we literally it was like five o'clock started the storm we were getting ready to leave and i had taken my watch wallet and put it in the side pocket of the chair yeah and we were taking the canopy down and the kids were helping or whatever so then when we got everything i was putting the canopy up and looked and as i got up and i said wait a minute where's my phone here's my watch oh in my wallet he found my wallet wow it was the wallet good eye in the sand yeah stuck with the sand and then i went oh there was my watch it was beside it and then we looked around so what happened it was one of those chairs that you sling on your back like it's got the and i think it just went over you were pretty positive when you're responsible you're like oh we'll get it back in like really positive i have a pretty good success rate with ring recoveries i don't i don't like to give up so uh and if i don't find it i have a bunch of close friends other metal detectors that i trust to not put in their pocket and go home you know because like i was telling you a lot of people they'll lose a ring and they'll post it online they'll post the exact location and i'll run as fast as i can to get there there's holes everywhere there's no ring and they never get it back so i literally were driving back and i was like i'll probably never see that again yeah and the thing is most people think that they all they lose in the water it's gone forever no you can get it
