here we go [Music] hi I'm Deanna hey I'm Shane we're DNS adventures and we're both homestead homeys you're watching off-grid with Doug and stinger hey what's up this off-grid with Doug and Stacey and today I'm going to show you guys two ways that you can power equipment and ceiling fans with no electricity this is the first method here what we have here is a gas-powered compressor that actually fires up and it creates compression and it goes into this tank it fills it up when that tank fills up it comes around the corner here it fills up this tank and you can see there there's another tank so that system fills up three big tanks full of air and then these lines run into the building and they actually run ceiling fans inside and some other implements other equipment and I'm going to show you a different system and then I'm going to show you actually in that building how the air actually makes it to the equipment and runs it but I wanted to give this to you this is an off-grid hot tip to run your equipment and your ceiling fans all by air and Lex says that right there is a gas unit that you can use if you don't use a window and the next thing I'm going to show you guys they actually use a windmill to turn and fill up the tanks and then once they fill up the windmill stops so I'm going to take you over to the other building right now I'm going to show you how that works hopefully you guys enjoyed this video and we'll see in a second alright so the reason why I'm showing you this is because oh this is ingenious so we're at one of the Amish stores and this windmill is up there once it fills up with air it fills up a compression tank and once it fills up it stops spinning the hose is piped down the compression tank pipe down to the compression tank this is the back of the store you can see here the line comes out and goes down the back wall now I'm going to take you inside I'm going to show all right so all the lines see this here all the lines come in and then they hit this regulator and there's some filters on there that take out the moisture in the air then the lines go up now this is all air power and then they run the sewing machine see that the hoses come down and run the motor everything's run off of air and belts all this equipment is run off of air see that it's a whole workstation run off of air now we go in here and you can see the ceiling fans have the air line going to them and it all runs off of air so in this building here they got a concrete floor and then they have all these ceiling fans that run off of air and it basically it's almost feels like air conditioning in here so there you go off-grid tips right there all right so that was the second building so guys these are great tips if you want to live off-grid on ways that you can incorporate air into running pneumatic tools fans everything like that so this is off grid with Doug and Stacey I'm Doug don't forget to check us out on Facebook Instagram and Twitter hey guys thanks for watching our video you might want to check out these videos and if you want to become a homestead homey click the picture of us below we will see you tomorrow
