get over here hey everybody welcome back to my channel i have my husband with me he's never been on here so leave him a comment and tell him hi we are going to be doing a american tries british snacks today i currently have some toast in the toaster my friend amy robinson she did a video i'll link it down below she we sent her a bunch of american snacks that she tried with her kids and her significant other so they sent us a bunch of snacks i want to show you the box because it has the address on it but it's a big bunch of goodies um the first thing we're going to try though is the marmite that's why i have toast in the toaster marmite whoa and there it is grab that babe she said to put a light layer of regular butter on here so a little better so feathering this apparently we don't have anything like this and either you love it or hate it she said that that's even like a commercial there like you either love it or you absolutely hate it i have another friend in australia who sent us some vegemite it could be similar i don't know do you remember tasting that one no okay this says that it is rich in b vitamins vegan spread yeast extraction i've never seen anything like this sold in our stores correct me if i'm wrong i think what we're gonna do is like on a scale of one to ten ten obviously being the best we'll rate it and then one is obviously terrible so i'll let richard do his okay i don't know so it's only gonna be a ten or a one because you either love it or hate it right yeah i guess so but we'll see i'm not picky she said like a light spread so i'm just doing like a little tiny bit that's not a lot she said to do it very light i guess this can be your taste your piece if you want one more is think i can love or hate something that little it looks like chocolate syrup like poop okay hope it tastes better though so there's richard's pretty sense he's like i need more okay um i feel like you put more on yours though well then you can have this beats yeah i'll take that piece okay so again this is the marmite from she lives in wales but it's still the uk but are you ready lightly toasted marmite cheers cheers can't really taste it hold on oh i taste it how do you feel well i was expecting something sweet so that may impact what i think of it because it's not sweet yeah if i could only choose love it or hate it and no middle ground i'm gonna have to go with hate it but on a scale of one to ten what do you think um look at that i got four i'm just over here like no i think i like it it's really salty and i like salty things i know smell it he hates it yeah i don't think if it's between if she says it's in the commercial either love it or hate it he hates it and i love it i feel like this is not a wasted product you did not waste your quid or your pounds on this for me because i feel like i'll put this on my like bagels or something like that but that was the marmite i still taste it i like it let's move on to something else i ate my i got you a glass of i got us a glass of water it's like a palette cleanser thank you okay um should we do something sweet i guess yes okay the next thing i requested this i've seen these a lot it's a lion chocolate bar she's so sweet she actually sent us two but we'll just share i love sharing with you me too yeah you go first i don't think we need to smell chocolate bars i think it it kind of looks like a wow chocolate's really different show them what it looks like but what's that it looks like a kitkat kitkat stuff on the inside with caramel let me read the let me try it all right i don't know about it um it doesn't really say lion choco taco choco taco one to ten i'm gonna give that feels like a mix between like a crunch bar with caramel and a kitkat i'm gonna give that like i'm not picky i don't know i guess it's six i think like the texture is really pleasing yeah the flavor isn't that strong i'm gonna go with uh seven okay it's made by nestle but i like the lime that looks really cool no that's weird that's why i requested it so i guess it is good marketing all right next let's try oh let's try some chips this says the real mccoys ridge cut flame grilled steak ooh that sounds good and i think it's hilarious i was telling richard when i was looking at this the nutritional information like why does it i asked amy i'm like why does it say that like look it shows energy average values like is there above average or lower average this is just average value average energy average energy we do have like steak chips but we don't have this bran brand let's try it these are flame they look like ruffles i smell like i'm like amy i feel like we're at a wine tasting with you smelling all the snacks it tastes like beef stew like instant beef stew flavor came to my mind and i said chips we're actually eating crisps richard it says salt and malt vinegar cheddar and onion it's a little bit of a kick there right what do you mean by kick like yeah a little spice in there there's no spice in there a little bit maybe i'm still tasting that disgusting spread thing i'm to give these i can see what you're saying about the stewie kind of taste tastes like a stew i'm going to give these like an eight i kind of like them i don't know if i would buy them on a regular basis though yeah i'm a big fan of stew i'm gonna go with seven and a half okay do i do something sweet or salty it's too sweet okay let's do one of these switzels share the love love hearts that's what they look like i feel like these are going to be like sweet tarts possibly kind of chalky yeah maybe or like what are those called oh they have messages on them oh it has a little heart yeah oh you're breaking literally just right here you try to open it i'll just have this one here okay this one says too much like sweet tarts get it sweet tarts only these are love hearts but they're not as they're not as sour and sharp as sweet i really wish this wasn't so hard to like there we go okay well um they're not they're not that sour how do you feel about like chalky textures not a huge fan what's your number this one says only you so for you though i'm gonna give it i don't ever like crave sweethearts and we can get them here like i would eat this if it was like a party or somebody gave it to me obviously i'm eating it um and i'll probably finish them because i have a sweet tooth but i'm gonna give them like a five they're just like whatever yeah i'm gonna give it a five as well they're not as good as sweet tarts sweetheart's definitely that sour zing and these are more chalky yeah sweeter salty that was like a neutral thing so we can go either way now um what's not something that's the same texture let's try [Music] the shortbread doggie treats no they're not doggy treats they did break in transit but i'm sure they taste delicious and if i love these i'm definitely amy keeps telling me that she so she doesn't have coffee creamer and in the morning she sees me pour my coffee creamer in but you know i love my creamer and she's like you're gonna have to make me a coffee with creamer and i'm gonna make you proper tea so if i like these i'm gonna have them with some coffee or maybe tea side note he's a cookie monster so he loves cookies i love cookies much more than donuts donuts are far superior let me know if you like donuts or cookies better in the comments below cookies cookies no no no thumbs up for donuts thumbs up twice for cookies i'm going to give these a solid 10. 10. yeah here's my reasoning i really love coffee creamer like i love coffee creamer you know this which makes my coffee extremely extremely sweet and this is not sweet it's very like buttery and dull and flaky and it complements anything sweet so hard 10. yeah that's would be a really good uh companion for coffee i'm gonna go with an eight uh that their texture is yummy i'm gonna have another one smell them i know you don't want you're not into smelling but i don't smell anything though no they're buttery i think they're i don't want to eat too much because there's still so much stuff over here to try it tastes a little bit like animal crackers but slightly less i like the butter like you know when something's like so bland that it's good that's what that is that would be delicious with coffee for sure um we're gonna finish those okay moving on um so we have these here in the states but i love them and i did notice the nutritional facts are i don't know if it's focusing they're different again it shows like how much energy i don't know why in the uk they focus on how much energy is in stuff is that what we're calories should be that's a positive way to look at calorie intake energy intake energy i don't know should do that last though because that's a sucker yeah and i've had these so i don't want to like there's so much you said sugar-free ones though so thanks amy gotta work on that figure um do you want to eat one of these at the end i don't i've already had these and i really like them already so i know these are really great i probably will give them like a six because i already like them but if you want them they're there do i try something gummy okay so we have haribo that's how you say it right rebo i've never said that word in my life i think it's hard don't you remember the commercials okay i don't know we have these but i don't i tried googling she sent a variety of horrible now i'm questioning myself i think it was haribo would be an e right haribo i don't know but we have this brand here but i was googling the different flavors and we don't have these flavors so this one says tang fastics tingfastics i'm gonna open that one baby this one is three bow super mix and then this one just says iconic flavors no favorites i love how they spell favorite it's f-a-b-o-u-r that looks like a wiener it's either it's either this is weird so you either have your bottle shaped ones or your wiener shaped one which tastes better is the question which one did you give me repeat i gave you the wiener okay well then you taste the wiener i think i'm eating the wiener too though oh cause i figured i'd get another bottle that's the bottom one is there like one no there's another bottle one can tinker a little bottle it was upside down okay still trying to finish this weird have you had coke candy before yep that's what that is i'm not the wiener one i'm gonna say the wiener one was like a six the coke one i'm not huge i think you gotta give one overall rating though wiener and coke combined okay well i just wanted a side note you know like um coke slurpees i don't like that unless it has like cherry in it i wonder if they have slurpees there i doubt it but anyway i would say for both candies there's even a third type of variety so who knows i would say for that i would give it probably a six it was not that fantastic but it was definitely like it's not anything i would buy i'm having a hard time over here i like them a rebo i'm gonna give an eight okay this one is the favorites and these have like look it's a little egg orchard it's an egg where's the wiener there's no weiner what is this one i don't know what this one is but these shapes are really fun this looks like an egg that you said oh that one's an egg yeah yeah that was cool there's a little heart and then that's just like a regular gummy bear these are just regular guys so if you want the eggs no you try the eggs the egg looks really cool eat it i'm gonna have this the heart one this one's kind of like creamy but it tastes kind of like plastic i don't know i like the variety and shapes and some are kind of a sugar coating some don't uh i like these give it still an eight this package i'm going to give like a four because it tastes like plastic to me because there's not that sugar coating i don't know this one had i ate this one and it's like gummy but then it's like creamy and it's like marshmallowy almost it's even a different texture i don't know but it tasted very like synthetic and plasticky this plastic has a lot of energy so i read it okay this one is the super mix by haribo haribo um oh i don't know here i'm gonna make you try one of the the creamy meats yummy no creamy meats this is an ice cream cone oh it is how cute and it looks like a little zombie it does looks like a little zombie this one's softer i think it's fresher than the bag we just opened these this one's not that listen oh yeah when you just gave me it was really soft though was it i want a soft oh this one what is this guy it does taste kind of like ice cream it smells like a little coke bottle this one tastes like alcohol whoa there's not another one sorry too bad um that's i think that's it for the haribo oh wait wait no it is that's it for the harbor because this one's just a repeat one my vote for haribo all the way around is probably a i'll give it an eight if you like gummy bears this is right up your alley a lot more variety and shapes and sizes and things that's true i think it's pretty fun oh that one was sour okay moving on should we do salty yes these are the same ones okay so the next one which i'm super i've been waiting since she sent this i sent her cheetos and she said that these are kind of like cheetos only i love hot cheetos i don't i got you the water mainly for this because these are spicy wait what did it say nice and spicy knickknacks and i love how it's looking in the back and she said my british impersonation is not bad it says knickknacks nobody wacky sticks of corn intensely tasty unusually knobby what do you think uh yeah good good description energy and it was made in ireland nice we'll see how it compared she said that our cheetos are better than knickknacks okay so i love hot cheetos he doesn't do a whole lot of spice but he'll do it for the i was i'm not i'm not gonna lie i was expecting them to be red they're not red because ours is red and it says spicy i don't know what okay smell yeah that's all spicy they're kind of what's the word they use nobody unusually i'm not spicy though so would you say they're intensely tasty i would say that the flavor is kind of like popping like i don't know if it's vinegar that i'm tasting there's something very definitely intense about it so i would say the description of like intensely tasty is accurate um they're not nice and spicy though like i think that it's like tangy they are tangy i think if amy likes she says she likes spicy i think if she tried hot cheetos she would be like oh my gosh why is this so hot if she thinks these are i don't know um they're super tangy i prefer cheetos and i prefer hot cheetos and i prefer just about i don't know i feel like this is the wrong shape these should be it pringles like a pringle flavor to me um i'll give these probably like a five there i could again if they're at a party i'll eat them but i'm not gonna go out of my way to bio um i'll give it a six the flavor is unusually knobby i've never had anything like that intensely tasty and usually knobby not false advertising i think that's a good way to describe it richard what would we call like she said they look knobbly i've never heard that word what would we call it it looks like curvy bumpy stalactity you know in caves no all right so much smarter than me okay let's move on to i think another chocolate yes so we are going to try this is me so we have cadbury um but this is called a crunchy we both like crunchy so the lion was pretty crunchy so and the lion looked cooler but this we'll see how this compares it's cadbury chocolate cadbury chocolate looks really good but it's true we don't really get it it's more like seasonal i feel like like um easter and stuff oh that's very loud crunchy mmm the flavor's really good though right like it's definitely really rich no pun intended [Music] um it's not bad i like lime better i think really is it a texture thing yeah it's a texture thing i like the line has that kind of kit kat crunchy thing this is an abrupt crunch it's loud and takes you off guard this yeah um i think i gave the lion an eight right um give that a seven i feel like this is definitely a ten ten i'm the worst i like everything no you've been grading pretty fairly okay well you like that better than the line definitely i feel like this kind of tastes like a carmelo without the messy nastiness of it do you want to talk about yeah i love carmelo's because it's so delicious and flavorful does that say let me see it doesn't say like what the flavoring is supposed to be it's just multi-bar multi-pack bar not for resale that's pretty good but i'm on team live team lion crunchy's better flying crunchy definitely okay we're gonna try something that amy this is what amy's been waiting for for us to try she calls them pork scratchings and they are literally called scratchings and i feel like richard and i will both like this but i could be wrong one thing that i was reading when i looked at it which i thought was funny is it says somewhere on here like don't eat if you have bad teeth or something literally said something like that oh yeah it says warning only suitable for those with strong healthy teeth well you got two my teeth are pretty good you got some strong healthy yeah my gums are not as great but my actual teeth are pretty they're good i want to take a chance all right i blame amy i think watching her video like she's on to something with smelling at first just saying i'm kind of scared to smell this one though pork scratchings they're a little intimidating looking kind of smells like dog food it smells like you like pork rinds yeah yeah it smells like the kind of the whoa they're a little creepy looking i feel like these look very wobbly or is that the word knobbly oh hold on let me try this bite right here i'm not gonna lie right now i feel like i'm eating something that i would give ripley our husky no offense amy the flavor's okay but it's too dog treaty for me um it tastes like pork rinds but the texture is different it's kind of i don't know how to describe it because with pork rinds it's all crunch yeah this has this kind of like the soft which kind of throws me off a little bit the sauce are they all like that the one you had was more crunchy i felt like but then i bit into it and it wasn't mine was like extra soft i feel like this is definitely like you go to petco here which is like a pet store and they're like lined with things that look like this you think amy puts hot sauce on him she probably does she really likes frank's and cholula i feel like the hot sauce would make it so much better like pour something close up with it i did no yeah i did yes but that's what like the inside of the bag looks like underneath yeah the texture is interesting it doesn't taste bad though i like i like pork rind i like pork rinds too i feel like hot sauce would make it better but it's definitely like a texture thing um i'm gonna give these like a two whoa um i'll go with a four it's fair scratchings okay um i kind of want to try these they're sweet though so these are called foxes party rings minis richard do you think there's uh energy in this if you're gonna be partying with the party rings yeah let's see yep there's energy in it energy has to be calories right i don't know we're gonna have to google that i wish it gave energy calories got it open first try there you go oh they're like look really cute i thought it was like a kind of you know no it's you show you haven't shown anything yet like that they look like little like doughnuts they look like cookies i thought they were gonna be candied yeah these are really like these every day is a party with fox's party ring you know what they remind me of you know like the outside of a pop-tart tastes like the pop-tart frosting and like the outside of a pop tart yeah i agree like pop-tart crust with frosting they're good yeah i like them i thought they were gonna be handy but they're cute little cookies how cute are they are you going to read them i'm saying eight and a half i feel like i could i have a sweet tooth and i think those are pretty sweet like noel would really like those yeah i agree yeah we'll go 8.5 it says 83 calories per minute so maybe it's not energy so what's in the energy is a different number okay if you're from wales you have food that gives you more energy i guess if you're from the uk leave me a comment leave us a comment down below because we want to know what energy means if it actually means like giving you energy like if you get like hyper or jazzed or whatever let us know because it's clearly not calories since it shows calories well it could be because like calories are under energy kj and then calories you're a um okay let's move on to something different completely different i feel i have a feeling richard's really going to like these do you want not spicy it's like tangy and this is mostly super sour and it's not i like flaffy taffy and i like sour green apple i will go ahead and give this a seven yeah you know seven's one so this is the same brand it's just a different flavor different packaging so it's just strawberry this too has energy in it yes this kind of looks like a pink starburst pink's the best color pink is the best starburst for sure does it what does it taste like does it taste like a pink starburst no bub or a hi-chew i like it it tastes like a pink high chew have you had those bless you a high tube okay we literally only have a couple more things to try which is good because i'm getting kind of full this one noelle had one of these tonight and she said they were really good this is just cadbury fudge um what did that taste like okay look at three musketeers he's like a three musketeers whoa is that good yeah it tastes like three musketeers i don't think you need too much um the texture is kind of funky for me but i do like it and i will eat it again i would also give this probably like a six or seven probably seven seven final answer oh six this one though not man crunchy lion no party rings no way party that's really good what flavor is that white chocolate more milk less cocoa there's milk chocolate i think it's pretty good fine milk chocolate with and milky filling who can guess what else is in it no it's not there's two more things this is i'm sorry giant parma violets delicately perfumed perfumed candy interesting violet sweets i feel like this is gonna have the same chalky texture and i don't like the manufacturer like why did they make it so challenging to open i guess if you stick it in your pocket they won't all fall out like annoying here yeah so sick i literally feel like i just had some perfume sprayed in my mouth i feel like i just had medicine like the medicine vitamin chewable thing [Music] yeah yeah there's definitely perfume too i definitely feel like somebody was like i'm walking through the mall and like the aisle where they do all the spritzers and then my mouth was open and i was like does it give you like an aftertaste perfume breath yeah i don't like that you think that perfume breath would be a okay thing amy this is the for me this is the equivalent of the candy corn that you tried she by the way she hated the candy corn yeah man me too this is better than the candy corn no way not a million years all right the last thing we're gonna have we do have something similar to this it's also kind of usually seasonal i used to get these um in my christmas stocking as a kid did you get those as a kid babe this right here i've never heard of it it looks cool though we have something similar oh feel well you can yeah that's neat terry's chocolate orange real orange oil cool wrapping okay that is cool packaging isn't it are there actually slices wow yeah that's pretty awesome now you gotta take it out so they can see well it's peeler and there's slices yeah okay oh how cute that looks really cool it looks like a little orange like it literally looks like it was like imprinted on an orange baby i was expecting a filling almost but he liked it it tastes orangey too he says orange because he's from i think it's because he's an east coaster i say orange and he says orange no he says orange like he's a pirate like orange that's true i really like that and the packaging and just the presentation i don't know what you could this it's just and it's not so sweet that it's like yeah i'm gonna give that a nine i think i'm also i'm gonna copy you i'm gonna go to nine two because the packaging was really cute like and i'm shocked this came all the way from wales and nothing melted like i think our peanut butter cup things that i sent her they were a little melty yeah but and i was shocked at how fast the postman at the us post when i sent the package said that it was going to take maybe up to a month for it to reach wales and she got it within like literally a week to the day and i think we got ours we got ours today but i think it was only like eight days nine days so and nothing really melted but that was really cool this is all just like extras but thank you so much again amy for sending us all of these delicious delicious snacks and tom thank you for mailing it we appreciate it we had a lot of fun with it and i think my favorite thing though was definitely just to recap i want to say the shortbread was my favorite i really really liked it my least favorite was the perfume yeah i would say like the coffee crisps the orange the haribo and the lion were my favorites um and yeah the perfume wasn't great um yeah we were indifferent about the scratchings but it was still really really fun richard and i went to london a couple years ago and i feel like we had a lot of really good food at restaurants but i don't really remember buying a lot of we bought beer but not really snacks weren't there long enough so this
