American Airlines says an error was made in a court filing blaming a nine year old girl for being secretly recorded in an airplane's bathroom. The Tuesday court filing alleged the girl should have known that the airplane toilet contained a recording device following online backlash. American Airlines released a statement saying the error of filing was from legal counsel retained by their insurance company. They went on to write that the defense is not representative of their airline and do not believe the child is at fault. The nine year old is among five Children who were allegedly recorded without their knowledge by former American Airlines flight attendant Estes Carter Thompson the third and he has since been indicted on charges of attempted sexual exploitation of Children and possession of images of child sex abuse.
