[Music] welcome to the squirrel Grand Prix here at the firm Euler one circuit in half ature England you join us on day two of the qualifiers where our squirrels are racing to see who can win that coveted pole position as you can see from the rankings so far shimmy räikkönen has a convincing four second lead over Fernando Alonso with a time of 1 minute 59 Sergio Flair as his last after receiving a penalty for some pretty blatant chicanery let's take a look at Sergio's illegal start and I look that's a penalty straight away as if that wasn't enough so she hasn't probably one of the most bizarre endings to the race that I've ever seen in all my years of fur Muller one look how he comes out of the tunnel there see what is it see what he does when he approaches the finish he needs to cross the finish line completely but no he goes up he then pauses he then almost sits down and then takes his own racing line forget that finish line admittedly some pretty good handling there the race marshal quite rightly gave Sergio at maximum three-minute penalty as no chlorine his way back from that and I've just heard that Luis scramble turns approaching the start grid there you see the race officials doing their final track inspections and here comes a countdown looks like Luis needed a jump start there he's approaching the tire change a little too cautiously to my mind but he's through and he's on to the first of two straights beautifully handled there he's really getting to grips with the track Luis got off to a really good start but the pace has slowed a little bit here if he's gonna beat shimmying and against the clock he's gonna have to get his game face on and choose the right direction on the track as well hang on that all he seems to be upping a gear yeah he's he's into his top gear now comes out of the Straits watch after that oversteer recovers it well and he storms into the hairpin Bend what a performance he needs to watch out for that adverse clamber that again he takes it with ease so much so he's right on the tail of team red squirrel let's check the time so far while Lewis has a nut stop and he's on one minute ten but time is ticking precious seconds are drifting away this is must be the longest nut stop ever stop that nibbling matin get move on oh hang on he's moving now he's beaten the Reds only to take on water for his last lap just the turn on the final straight to go come on Lewis he enters the tunnel obviously taking it easy to avoid any last-minute upsets but the clock is ticking oh no tragedy Louis's spun off the track what's he gonna do can he recover in time come on Lewis you can do it oh he's back on and it's in the race again it's not over yet me through and on to the final straight go square I'll go the race Marshall wait this one what's the time he's done it one minute and 58 seconds Louis wins the qualifiers to take pole position that's supercharged performance from Lewis scramble turn there who now has a clear lead in the firm Euler one four am free well done that squirrel jolly good effort [Music]

This guy was a computer science teacher at my secondary school. Really smart guy, has a doctorate in Cosmic Ray Physics as well as making squirrel assault courses and writing short stories in his spare time. Weird combination of hobbies but he was pretty cool so he gets away with it.
