Amazing Manila Resort + Best Buffet in the Philippines | Sofitel & Spiral Manila

oh cool this is one of the top resorts or top hotels here in Manila so this one would be totally honest but made in the Philippines and I can see why good morning everybody and welcome back to the Philippines we're pretty much leaving palawan and making our way back to or to Manila but before we head home thought we just treat ourselves to a nice special night here in Manila this is the little pod of Francisco Airport looks super new modern we found where all the cafes are grab yourself a coffee before our flight [Music] the safest place are you guys a second now applied to get from the Milan is two minutes in city so it's okay to let you guys know one of the cheapest ways to get around Manila is you download Philippines version of reverse Brad I think even locals and I decided up but you can just get to the airport and then it's so and it operates just like it's gonna cost us like I supposed to get a hotel room that is such a nice year well Sun City is gonna be so good zena's it's our final night here in the Philippines and you know we've camped on some volcanoes we've we've done the local experiences we thought it would treat ourselves to a nice little night here at the Sofitel so this is one of the top resorts or top hotels here in Manila it is so nice yes gonna be such a nice way to end our time here and I hope there's like a few fun activities around but we'll get to that let's just quickly show you our room so we've booked a king room here at the Sofitel so this is our gigantic king bed but the best feature has to be these mr. and mrs. pillows that they have set out for us so nicely got a gigantic TV and also the bathroom is so nice I always love coming to hotels because I always get ideas when we have our own bathroom see the macaroons are from spiral buffet and when we put our food video out in manila a few weeks ago when we arrived in the Philippines so many of you guys said you have to check out the spiral buffet part of the reason why we're staying here so definitely wait for that one oh sorry I don't think I've ever seen tea presented so fastly I think I'm gonna have this just before bed okay guys I mean at the pool from up here for way too long I think we need to go for a swim [Music] perfect is this your last one here in the Philippines yeah and you found out that it's the younger ones that of the tastier yeah because we've had like room-temperature ones in the mountains guys this is me chillin with my cocktail this is such a nice way to end our trip yeah so last kind of sunset here in the Philippines it's a little bit groovy and just as out there trying to catch you whatever last rays she can so she can go back to Australia with the tab I don't think it's working too well but what I thought I'd do is I'd go surprise her with a little bit of a couples massage because we did a lot of campaign we did a lot of like a lot of roughing it on this trip so forth let's just go and surprise her with a bit of a massage because I think we both have a few aches you know back and I thought would be just a nice way to end our afternoon it's like a two-hour couples massage we get I don't know how we gonna make it to dinner feel like I'm just gonna like be so relaxed I'm gonna fall asleep [Music] oh how nice is this we're just checking in and they've just given us some ginger tea to start the whole process and I can try on and off about ginger seriously this is my fake what is it a root I could just turn the ginger over the rest of my life is there when you totally don't realize what you've actually ordered so I kind of chatted to them and there was like this couple's package and I thought was just a massage but they've set up like oh wow this is oh that looks so good okay so nice in a massage oh that's gonna be so good thank you sir likes when I can have a pop and then they'll massage I know we're actually getting quite the sunset we're gonna have like a barbecue dinner buffet and the city at night I just didn't feel like you could have a resort I'd like to see you'll need such a big city but it definitely feels like you're at like a holiday resort this dinner experience is so cool they set it up a little bit like kind of like street food vendors where you go to the different little stations and you can grab different food and then there's one station and we can grab a bunch of seafood and then give it to a guy and then he will barbecue it right there and they just brought over our plate of barbecued of seafood amazing food another survive when if I've been to a hotel that has like a vibe we had some traditional dances going on there before but just look behind you and there's sushi we haven't had sushi since week unless Australia good guys we're just having dinner run away it looks like it looks like it's the mole of Asia that's doing it that's so cool you get a perfect vantage point from dinner that's kind of cool way to end our final station where this guy will just put together your own hello hello at the buffer these are all the ingredients toughest-ever hello hello so literally made it fresh for me explained all the ingredients we made it wrong last time later on told us that we need to Allah this is our Redemption guys we saw your comments hello hello isn't a drink it's a way of life so much different guys that dinner was incredible but we'll see how you get there yoki and lump-sum but somehow you figure it could have been bigger it's too difficult to come friend the way you've been acting I'm sure it's just good morning everybody I'm sad like a few hours left here in the Philippines where flight is like at midday but we're very excited because if you didn't know the Sofitel it actually has basically the top restaurant here in all of Manila it is the best buffet in town and we're gonna be having it for breakfast it is called the spiral restaurant it's quite famous here and that's a final stop once I had a peek inside and I think we could like literally ate so much that we wouldn't need eight until we get hard I guess this is why they call it spiral restaurant viruses yes please that sounds great Wow so much cheese ashleen Heidi if you're watching this so this what they would be told just being a longest day in the Philippines and I can see why we're literally at one end of the buffet Asian cuisines we have some Thai we have some Filipino food followed by a Chinese burger and the awesome thing is is they don't have the largest portion is yeah because the chef's are literally right behind preparing and topping up all the food right in front of you so from walking down there you pretty much have like a fresh salad station opposite that is an Indian station and we're not even halfway through the buffet it just keeps going that way fresh juices they got a French section I'm pretty sure this heat so being cooked over there Japanese section over there cheese room bakery dessert they even have a chocolate perfect thank you so much yes thank you thank you it's like the best experience ever I don't even know what's happening every time I sit down someone brings me something new they really put out a little bit and then you see all these chefs preparing it fresh I know right like this is a lot I told you we literally just stopped filming a second ago and then someone just brings up this is my type of shots guys seriously if you'll come into vanilla even if you're not staying at the Sofitel you should totally booked a table at the spiral that was the best like a buffet experience we have ever had and the food is so good and there is food for everyone so no matter what type of food you like it'll be there but we're heading out to the airport single bye to the Philippines this has been one of our favorite countries we have ever traveled to we want to come back don't we Steve you're we do and I know that we barely saw like we just saw like a tiny scrape of what the Philippines has to offer so make sure
