good afternoon and welcome to ulta window fashions we're going to be talking about dual shades today our dual shades sample book got a refresh on october 5th 2020. dual sheets have become very popular the solid bands of color and texture and with mesh and sheer bands 65 of this line has been refreshed we're going to watch a short video on the dual shade program achieve the perfect symmetry of light and privacy with dual shades by alto window fashions the result is a stunning contemporary look at the window that continues to gain in popularity year after year this stunning window covering combines solid bands of texture and color with intricate mesh or sheer fabric bands hi i'm john anthony senior product manager and i'm ken wong associate product manager we're very excited to introduce our brand new dual shades program over 65 of the line refreshed with these styles patterns and colors and we've also added some very attractive conditions let's start with our impressive collection of new patterns and palette of top-selling colors that include on-trend neutrals whites cool grays and pops of blue our sorcery features both translucent and light dimming styles in varying band sizes to provide the right scale for small or grand sized windows there may be a slight variation in bandwidth so if you plan to order shades for side-by-side windows please order at the same time you'll find that our translucent styles offer different levels of opacities thinner fabrics provide less privacy thicker fabrics provide more if you choose our light dimming styles you'll achieve the most privacy ready to view some of our new translucent styles here's our subtle yet sophisticated lavish look closer and you'll see how the delicate pattern becomes more enhanced with the darker colors the solid bands of riverside feature a feather-like pattern while silk-like threads gently meander through the mesh for an artisanal accent the handsome woven look of noel wood is a more densely textured pattern formed with multiple colors of thick threads it's available in two band sizes inspired by mother nature lakeside bands feature a gorgeous palette of contrasting color stripes for a lustrous look at the window with traverse solids never look so stunning the faint shimmer of these exquisite lengthening colors put more dazzling into just about any decor now let's talk about some of our other program enhancements like our new retractable port system operation is so smooth and easy you simply pull down on the single sturdy cord to raise or lower the shape now what makes this system exceptional is that it allows precise positioning of the shape it's especially ideal when you want to align the bands in side-by-side shades for those of you who sell motorization you're going to love our new lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack and charging system it replaces the current refillable battery wand the new battery pack averages nearly 500 uses per charge and is a fantastic convenience for your customer it's easy to recharge too all you have to do is plug the charger into the battery plug it into the wall and when the light turns from red to green the battery wand is charged typically five to six hours so many of you requested this next new edition a new palette of metal bead chain colors along with a new tensioner this is the same design used in our roller shades program we even added a light gray tensioner to complement many of our new patterns and speaking of new patterns wait until you see how all of our 28 styles are presented in our new spectacular dual shade sample book it's sized to match the other alter books for convenience shelf storage and like the other books it's wrapped in sturdy football for lasting durability let's take a that rolls on a tube inside the bottom rail shift the bands shift up your light when aligned edge to edge the opaque bands bring precious privacy and shade a slight adjustment and the shear widths bring filtered light and soft views so some of the features and benefits alternating bands of sheer or mesh fabric combining translucent or room darkening materials in a single shade which the benefit the ultimate in light control and style there's a large selection of decorative styles and colors a color palette that will blend with any decor matching fabric headreal insert stylish finished look why dual shades here's what customers and dealers had to say i really like this one at the bottom from the dealer it says similar to roller shade provides view privacy and uv protection with an elegant touch so here are four pictures of what a dual shade can do for you so starting from left to right the left hand side bands open and shade lower the second shade bands closed and shades lowered third shade bands closed and shade partially raised and the fourth one is bands open and shades partially raised so here is a picture of our band sizes starting from left to right we have the two and three inch band size we have the three to four and a half inch band size and we have a four and a half to five inch band size great for larger windows so here are mounting options we have the inside mount and the outside mount outside mount is really good for those windows that don't have a good depth cassette colors come in white beige black dark brown and anodized silver so this dual shade um on the right hand side finished dual shade height will always be in the full privacy position with the bands offset you can see that the bottom rail is sitting on the sill and then on the left side picture the bottom rail will lift from the cell when the bands are aligned the larger the band the greater the distance from the cell so we have fabric wrapped headrails which are standard smaller bands fabric will feature both the band and the shear in the head rail we have a two on one head rail option it's priced as two shades not available with zombie simplicity or power wand and remember the center gap will be a half inch so these are our bottom rails the fabric wrapped is standard you can get a non-wrapped option at no charge the bottom rail will match the cassette color so dual shades are installed side by side vein alignment can be guaranteed within three ace only if the shades are ordered at the same time and are identical style color and height shades that need to be aligned are specified on the order so note you must include that in special instructions on e orders so here are some of our options the retractable cord system which launched on 10.5 you just pull the cord straight down to raise and lower the shade and then we have the new beaded chain colors which come in oiled rubbed bronze black nickel antique brass and stainless steel um in the corn continuous cord loop picture that is a new tensioner that we use in the roller shade book and that gray color is new so this is straight out of the reference guide this is um your shade height versus loop drop it's going to be 40 less than window height best for kids and pets if you have a customer that you feel does not need that it can be overridden so this on the left hand side is showing you how not to operate the retractable cord the right hand side is the right way to use it you just pull straight down to lift and lower the shade so motorization options for the dual shades we have simplicity we have sampi and we have the power wand the power wand is an economical cord free motorized option comes with three button controls up down stop and favorites position uh three things you want to pick out with your customer is do you want the wand in black or white do you want it on the right or left side and then what length would you like it it comes in one foot two foot three foot four foot and five foot and wand is shift attached so on the black wand it shows you the up stops favorites and down position and then on the white wand it's showing you the charging port so it is a lithium ion battery in the head rail and it charges from the wand and then the settings button which is on the back is to set the favorites position we have a nice short quick video on youtube on how to set favorites positions for powerwand so we have simplicity motorization which is simple motorization it's a rechargeable battery we also have the solar charging panel as well so again this is simplicity motorization it has a lithium ion battery concealed in the headrail there's no wiring or external batteries every six to 12 months depending on usage you'll need to charge it shades will arrive with batteries charged motor only available on the right hand side and in this picture on the left side it's showing you the charging port so it's very convenient for your customer to charge this is the charger for simplicity motorization and power wand it only comes in black is 13 feet long the battery can be recharged up to 500 times it has an indicator light on the front of it when the shade is fully depleted it'll be red and once you plug this in and it charges for about five to six hours it'll be green remember this does not come standard with simplicity and power wand you need to order it this is our simplicity solar panel rechargeable system you can either mount it with double stick tape or the clips that we give you it is a constant trickle charge from the sun so this is a simplicity motorization it's five channels plus all you can get it in black or white the remote holder can be mounted to a wall for easy storage and accessibility lower and upper limits are set at the factory if there's no programming instructions programmed to channel one so this is something motorization it's a quiet operation operate shades without direct light line of sight motor flowing closed in the head rail motor available only on the right or left side so here are some of the options we have the new lithium ion battery which approximate 500 cycles up and down per charge discrete design can be used with pre-existing and new installations and then on the right hand side we have the plug-in transformer which it's a plug-in operation no batteries are required and the cable is 10 feet long these are the remotes for the sampi system we have the one channel remotes and the five channel remotes um the telus remote is a little ball that works really well with the dual shades and then here are some of the other options we have the smooth rts which is a single channel battery operated can be surface mounted no need to cut into the drywall and then we have the wall switches we have a one channel and a five channel which is battery operated it installs an electrical gain box does not require wiring but cutting into the drywall is required here are some of the other accessories we have the mylink which is home automation for your smartphone or tablet compatible with alexa and then we also have the wire free solar panel kit here is our dual shade sample book get with your asm
