void before i've heard of pink floyd i have never listened to the music never seen music before all right we're going to be checking out this song called comfortably numb um yeah let's see what you're in for me i got the video pulled up guys we're gonna put these headphones on i recognize this picture i believe this is the album picture right yeah yeah i recognize the picture but i've never heard any of the music so okay so we're just gonna check it out together pink floyd come to be known seagulls they'd be adding stuff [Music] is there anyone [Music] get you on [Music] just the basic facts [Music] right here so what are you thinking so far this is this is the real chill rock and roll this is considered rock and roll right yeah yeah that's right real slow yeah it's like one of you like put your cheer back if you want to oh yeah yeah a lot of you probably do jokes listening to this song that's like the best way to listen to fake food i think yeah i think that's what i heard about pink floyd yeah but but so far it's real relaxed real chill this is something you want to kick your feet up to you know maybe lean back close your eyes listen to yeah and some of the things that he was saying like he's checking on that person see if they're okay like they kind of feel like he's like uh he wants to make sure that they're okay kind of feel like he's a doctor almost like he tell me where it hurts he saw that he was saying that in the lines so yeah but yeah give it a go keep it keep getting it keep it now we're gonna keep it going i'll be back 10 seconds first can you show me [Applause] ah that's that electric guitar for sure i hear that yeah so what do you think about waiting about the lyrics what he was saying so i'm a little bit confused but i know he he said that um he was younger i think he said his hands were swollen now he feels that same way now yeah he said he said it can't feel like he got like two balloons attached to it i guess like he's saying like he's been through so much at this point like you mean too much hurt and pain at this point he doesn't become like comfortably numb like he doesn't yeah he moves in that much anymore you know people who have been through a lot and it's just like nothing to them but to you what's outside of you you're like wow how could you like keep up with that but to him it's like you know what at this point i'm like numb to it you know you don't affect me that much so that's basically what they're saying they're going for in this like that's like a deeper song you know a lot of people really yeah comparing his his feelings today to her trauma as a kid yeah yeah and a lot of people like listening to this and like they probably relate to it because this song be making a lot of people cry and stuff especially if you could relate to a song you know get really emotional stuff but i also saw that you were like stomping your foot a little bit yeah i am i'm tapping my foot y'all can't see it but it's damn it out to this for sure but it's pink floyd man it's a different experience i think they create experiences like this the whole experience [Music] okay but you may feel a little sick can you stand up come on it's time to go distant ship smoke on the horizon you are only coming through in waves [Music] i caught a fleeting glimpse [Music] i the dream is gone [Music] so so i could definitely see how you know people would relate to this and i understand that but even beyond that just the song itself is is you only got to listen to words to enjoy this yeah i know that you just listened to the video own the beat is relaxing it is it is i don't know i i believe you though when you say that people uh relate to this maybe people yeah because you know as you say i think it all stands from when he was a child you know i was saying as a child you know he saw like a glimpse of it and they feel like a dream is just like gone you know so i guess it's already it started when he was like younger and then when he got older he had that same like experience that when he was younger and now at this because you had already experienced it at this point when you're like older now you're just like numb to him yeah you know comfortably enough comfortably no to say well yeah man like just just even if you like get past like the lyrics just like the beat of the song or how the song makes you feel too you can like really just chill out to it yeah that's just something like i said kick your feet up and just jam to it but you had to you know people usually hate when you pause like pink floyd's song this album was made for continuous playing through yeah so from the beginning it's like one big movie almost so this is one song from the album but it they have them all like conjoined together like each song like was one and the next one that rolls over to the next one so yeah maybe like next two years or next year or so were you back you could uh listen to the full thing continuously oh my god check this out check it out yourself get checked out yourself yeah [Music] [Applause] you want to learn [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] god [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] that's how you end the song off you know a nice guitar solo to edit off and then you know uh after that it will probably lead into the next song after that yeah he put his heart into that i heard that he put his heart into that yeah it felt like he was just like ex being expressive with it like that's like i feel like i could listen to what the guitar was saying even it wasn't actually speaking i feel like i can see his movements just from how hard he was playing i know he was doing all kinds of you know you'd be surprised these guys are so good like this they could just be like this but to us it's just like you know yeah that's there's emotion in that that that's the kind of guitar playing that made me want to learn guitar yeah that's the same one of the same thing i said too i don't know which song made me decide you i want to learn how to play the guitar pink floyd is one of the bands that made me want to want to learn the guitar um but yeah one of my favorite pink voice songs i just i don't know people wanted this is one of my other favorite bands yeah pink floyd so i just i just had to check out this album because yeah dark side of the moon dark side of the moon outside of the moon but uh your final thoughts on this song and lyrics and everything it was real chill you know i i feel like not myself necessarily can relate to the lyrics but i understand how you know i believe i definitely believe what you tell me that you know some people get emotional to this song if they can relate to the different kind of things that he went through and what he's talking about but this is enough to make me want to try and listen to other other songs of this album yeah listen to them once just like all right whatever but certain that is hearing some random song from me like oh i want to hear what else they got up their sleeves they want to see what else they could bring up especially if they're all kind of related to this song you said they all kind of tied together right yeah they're all tied together that's what i'm saying like put some headphones on or something play the start from the beginning it's gonna be like a movie go all the way down the line i gotta do another one yeah but uh you guys let me hear your thoughts on this down below in the comments section uh if you like us
