All Types of Thompson Machine gun Magazines being Fired

okay okay we is a perfectly common 19281 Thompson it is selected fire open open bolt fire um nothing special about Thomson what we're going to do today is show the different feed devices available to the Thompson we're going to fire them all in this order here start with the standard issue 20 round magazine go to the standard issue 30 round magazine go to the homemade 50 round magazine made by by one together a 30 and a 20 again a correct original World War II 50 round drum made by Crosby pretty common thing actually and then a hunter round drum now this is an auto ordinance 1980s made reproduction drum not the original cult drums but um they typically work just fine one thing worth noting about drums one thing they weren't they weren't very practical one thing listen to this if you run through the wood trying to sneak on somebody with this drum in a gun not great I think that was the least of your problems 50 cows same thing they rattle now how much of those things weigh okay plugs in those things are pretty heavy aren't they and the are that drum 10 lb the gun 10 lb 20 lbs okay first things first 20 rounder round call me Grace okay home 5050 round magazine uh I have not fired before today we'll see how it goes you can feel the guns P be heavier okay got call success all 50 rounds now bolt back safety on it's worth noting the drums you really don't want to try to put the drum in with the bolt forward as you try to insert the drum have to push that round down to get the drum in place the very first time I put this drum and this gun had to bolt forward think I'm good and safe I push push and push harder push the drum through the gun on the ground drop it not graceful so the bolt is back safety on and also worth noting the 50 run drums will go in from the left or go in from the right and we go in we we're on the stock right now lift the stop lever Center it locked in safety off we got 50 rounds okay also worth noting on the on the drums the bolt goes forward in the last round unlike the stick magazine when the bolt locks back the bolt is not locked back on the drum so empty drum's empty magazine to the rear safy on actually let's just show you the drum will go in all the way through left or right now so bolt back safety on 100 round drum very awkward worth noting I play with three a total three of the repop drums and they only go in from one side they do not go in from both sides awkward at best awkward at best it's hot by the way okay okay we're in the latch is down we're centered we're locked in safety off run for a long run R all one time yeah well that's too much but go for whatever you feel up to I will do off the hip it's so heavy that's extremely heavy oh okay you might have heard the spring unwind maybe not anyway bolt back safety on R can only come out left hand side and it's out and that gun that is smoking it is smoking wow don't touch it so out of in your opinion of all these magazines which one do you like the best the 30s that yeah that's the 30 rounder okay from the professionals fa um anyway if we prove the gun works very well that was that's 250 round we just burn through just gun I had one misfeed on the first round of the hunter round drum I don't know what that was about but they are reloads uh and right now the Hang is hot to the touch and I think that's it this thing set for
