Alix Earle's 10 Minute TikTok-Famous Makeup Routine to Conceal Acne | Allure

hi lore I'm Alex R and this is my 10-minute Beauty routine I always have to start off with a primer and I use this Mac strobe cream and then the drunk elephant bronzing drops I think it is super important to make sure your face is like really hydrated before going in with your makeup so I just mix these two together and these will give you like a nice illumination and a little bronze okay then I will go in with my Nars creamy concealer I use the shade custard medium 1 this has been my go-to concealer for a while I also struggle with acne so this is like really good for covering acne and this makeup routine this is going to be like my dayto day kind of makeup routine a little less than when I'm going out but this will cover everything when I first started out on Tik Tok I would like use 45 filters on my face 10 lbs of makeup I was like no one will see that I have a pimple on my face I was like so adamant about hiding it and then it got to a point like two two summers ago where it was so bad and even with like makeup filters anything I just couldn't hide it and I like wanted to stop posting because of it and then I realized that I needed to keep posting cuz I loved it so I was like you know what I'm just going to like try and share a little bit about my acne Journey this is key for covering my acne recently it is the Tom Ford traceless Foundation stick I Ed the shade cool beige for .7 but I'll just take like a flat brush and you just put a little bit on the brush and then go right over any areas where you're having redness and it just like covers it right up I've been using this on my Tik toks and people are like what did you just do cuz it looks like you just like got it all away but the first time that I started posting about my acne I was so scared I remember the first video I sat there and I refreshed it like 45 times because I was waiting for people to be like oh my gosh like who is this what is she doing and I was just like waiting for hate comments and it actually was like the opposite it was like so positive so then I was like okay so I decided to just keep posting about my acne and a lot of what I would do in the beginning was like how I use makeup to cover it because I've always been pretty good at like hiding it with makeup cuz when you go out you want to feel confident and good and I like pretty much mastered the hiding it with makeup so I just shared my makeup tricks and that's how like the whole get ready with me thing evolved the acne thing evolved so that's how we started that it is like the craziest feeling in the world that so many people know me my favorite thing is like when I meet people out and they were like I feel like I know you and I'm like you do like I share probably way too much at times but it honestly just like makes me so happy and I don't know I feel like I have a really good community and I have a lot of fun with my followers like I love interacting with all of them so this is the tarte sculpt tape I use this in cool bronze and then I will take the other end of this brush this is the Rafi brush I do like the double side to this for blending and contour and Foundation this will really bronze you right up so I just do little Taps until it's all Blended in and then I'll go back in with the other side and like make sure it Blends into my Foundation okay after that I'll just like take a beauty blender and go back over just cuz it can sometimes look a little splotchy if you don't do this and then sometimes just if you want a little extra snatch on the nose I will go back in with some concealer and just put that on the sides of my nose this is my favorite powder in the entire world it is the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush Flawless finish Flawless finish I can't speak uh in the shade one Fair pale so take some some of this and this will also help snatch your nose up I will bring this in my purse with me every time I go out with a little Powder Puff because it just mattifies everything helps your makeup stay on and look good and then this is my last trick for the nose this is the benefit highlight in the color tickle mine is just like so old and it's falling apart but I've had it for so long and it's amazing so I just created a hole in the middle of it but I'll just take my finger and put it on the tip of my nose and then the bridge of my nose for my brows I go in with the precisely my brow pencil from benefit this is shade 2.5 and this one is just like a super tiny little pen I don't know what you would call that and I feel like it just is good for mimicking hair I have definitely learned a ton from Patrick T doing my makeup every time he does it I am like so what are you doing like what did you just use how are you doing that um he is so talented and amazing and also just such like an amazing kind person to be around so it's always fun when we get to work together this blush is the Nars Afterglow liquid blush in the shade orgasm I feel like wrong saying that um and this is just like super light I will just tap it into my cheeks it's like a very like nude pink and also cuz it's liquid it gives like a little bit of a glow for bronzer I love this benefit hola bronzer this has been like a go-to of mine for a while but we don't need to do like too much bronzer on the face but the neck we have to blend down so you don't look like orange and pale okay eyelashes this is probably like my favorite part of the makeup routine but also my least favorite part I don't know why doing mascara just always stress mes me out probably cuz I make a mess a lot of the time so we're going to try not to do that I like went viral for the way that I curl my eyelashes cuz my eyeball like pops out of my head but you really got to like get in there and get a good curl okay so we have already a little mascara on the eyelid I've tried to get better at this you would think cuz I do my makeup so much that I don't make a mess with this anymore but I think it's more important to like get in there with the eyelashes and then you can fix the mess okay so get in there okay damage control coming in we're going to try and take off this mascara it's good enough okay before we do lips I like to do a setting spray and then I go back in with the powder so it just really it sticks it in there so this is the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush Flawless setting spray so give a good sprits let it sit for like a second and then we're going to go back in with our powder the airbrush Flawless finish powder you put this powder over the setting spray and your makeup will not move it's like the best for just locking it in there okay this lip liner is another product that I have been using forever it's just the perfect color for me I love it it's the Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in the color love trap so I try to like overline my lips at the top and I don't think I used lip liner until I went to college or maybe even my sophomore year of college and I don't know how I used to go out without it like now I think if there was like one thing I had to leave the house with I would probably like line my lips and put a gloss on them I think it makes such a difference now that they're lined um when I'm going out during the day I love this lineage lip glowy balm it's like a lip mask honestly I'll use this even when I'm going out because it stays so so well on your lips it's hydrating and it just gives a little tint it just makes it so glossy and good and and this will stay long like some lip glosses I feel like I talk I talk so much I'm eating I don't know drinking and they come off so fast but this one it stays and then I use this little Freckle pen it's from freck and it's called the fck XL I don't know why doing freckles on top of my makeup just makes me feel like I'm so natural and didn't put anything on my face and I don't know I I think it just they look so cute and they're so fun so I'll go in with this so I'll put these under my eyes and they'll like kind of blend out when you blend it with your finger like they'll just create a bunch of little freckles this is actually my last tip to snatch in your nose I'll put it around the tip of my nose and I feel like this just gives you like a little extra contour and snatches your nose right up so that was my 10minute light makeup routine see you next time allore [Music] bye
