that of the eagle okay cuz I was like yo is he still here probably smiling now Seas you know what I'm saying L is that going up so so slim is alive and I think that we will be alive this year too I think that the Eagles will bounce back only thing we know about jayen Herz is that each year he gets better and better and better now last year he didn't do that but if we can just look at the records in history that's what he does from the start to now he's always gotten better and I think he would do that um you adding a guy like Sequon bar I don't know I mean he's okay he's a hell of a hell of a player you bring one of the best players in football right to the Eagles I mean if I already thought that the offense was good enough you bring in him right so he's gonna take a lot of pressure off of Jaylen Herz and then AJ Brown I mean you get that type of money man the first thing he said was I want to prove that I'm the best right now I thought he was the top three receiver I thought he's one of the top guys in the game but when you when you get that type of money and you say them type of things that's what I really love about him because he wants to be the best um and then and then you look at the draft we made some good moves on defense right get some older guys out of there right I'm tired of seeing Bradberry getting beat left getting beat right getting beat getting beat getting beat I'm tired of it and I think the Eagles are tired of it too we get new coordinators that's going to do the job for us so I'm excited and I can't wait I can't wait I was actually talking about this last night with the Eagles fans they were they were sort of fake good last year right we would come on every day be like no you know it's a good it's there's something to win in games like people find ways to lose games and they find ways to win games and that's a good thing never looked pretty though it never it never looked quite like we wanted it to look but they were getting it done they started 5 and0 they won 10 of their first 11 games you would not consider that to be a bad season for most teams but the Eagles have higher expectations I think the other thing that we didn't really want to talk about because if you're on the field you're expected to play at the level that we expect you to play at but Jaylen Herz was I mean he was clearly not healthy for most of the season and it it looked like it I think that that played a role in him taking a step back they weren't the same team they weren't playing at the same level I think they'll they will fix all of those things now am I saying that they're going to go back to the Super Bowl I don't know but I do think that they will look better than the regular season they will win games more convincingly during the regular season I think Jaylen Herz will look more like himself I think everyone will settle down a bit and I think that they're going to be one of the contenders in the NFC look it's going to it's there's always teams that we think are in the championship conversation that aren't and at the end of the day only one team is going to win it but I think they are a team who's set up for that obviously they have the experience to know how to get there they are not a team that rests when they're not when they're not performing at the level that they want to perform at they're going to go out and get players they're going to go out and be aggressive and I think that Sports Gods reward that so I I think they're in a good position to bounce back as far as I think they will make a playoff run this year I don't know what the Super Bowl looks like for the NFC yet but I think that they will be one of those team that's in the conversation James I want to know what you got to say you got them you're the one you're the one that thinks that's unreasonable I want to know what you guys say number he's always unreasonable I I'll tell you I'll tell you what I think Jones I admire the hell out of the way Ho Roseman saw what went wrong with his team last year and he attacked the hell how can we get a CL H for one second please come on now give how some love look don't make don't make me go pull up the clip after the 2020 2 Season where I told you don't discount the importance of the coordinators on this team they lost Shan Sten they lost Jonathan Ganon I think hoe Roseman realized o my head coach might not be a Difference Maker on game day that's what I that's what saying Howe hired him Howe and Jeffrey lury yeah I absolutely think that the the power structure in Philly was like we need better coaches on the sideline not first year guys which is what was happening last year you get Vic fangio Kell MO guys with proven resumés I think that matters a lot what else happens your defense falls apart spend your first two draft picks on defensive backs to help fix that don't discount bringing back chony Gardner Johnson he was not only an interception leader for the Philly team that made the play or the Super Bowl he's also a feisty leader just a a a nasty trash talking DB you need that voice they didn't have it you bring him back they get saquan Barkley to upgrade losing DeAndre Swift Everything the Eagles have done I guess if I'm looking for one thing I don't love don't discount losing Jason Kelce but everything else that they have done I think they're ready to make a huge bounce back and yeah Joy I mean I I guess I agree with you like I can't guarantee they're going to be back in the Super Bowl but can't guarantee nobody Kansas City runs this league until further notice anyway but I think the Eagles are right in that group of teams that should have a hope of being in the Super Bowl even as good as number two in the league number two but number two mean you think they going it's it's m kind of does it kind ofes you think it's going to be a rematch kind of does obviously somebody has to represent the NFC and you pick the Eagles if I had to pick in May the team that I think is most likely to get there again it's May but if I had to do that today yeah I'm I'm fine saying the best team in the NFC is the Eagles in your humble opinion before this season starts because that's what you're telling you get you getting better da why you guys why you guys Mak I'm I'm just I'm just trying I'm just trying to make sure that that's what there's a difference between a power ranking and and a prediction but what I'm saying is if you just did NFC the Eagles would be one cuz they're the second best team in foot doing good bro don't let them great who well I think you old stuff now huh that's all good before before you talk about the Eagles what team do you think is the best team in the NFC that's a great question the ners I have to give it to the ners they went to the Super Bowl right they ain't lost a lot of pieces the ners will be the my second best team right now last time we seen the number two team and the number three team on the field it was a big big big big gap L third am I tripping no you're not tripping okay these are would say the I would had the ners I would had the lions at three I'm not mad at that I'm nervous about what do you think about what the Eagles will do this season I'm nervous for the Eagles um I really don't know how they're going to bounce back and the main reason is is I've never seen a quarterback truly lead a team on his shoulders and carry a team on his shoulders when you see Jaylen Herz at his best the defense is playing at a high level he's doing his job you have lost your All Pro center right they have paid everybody on the offense they have given you saquin Barkley this is an offensive football team now he's going to have to deliver on the offensive side of the ball they are not going to come out here and have 50 sacks like they had or whatever when they went to the Super Bowl and just be a dominant defense will they play better from their additions sure but if this team is going to get to where they are trying to go making a run in the playoffs is going to have to be on the quarterback's shoulders I'm not necessarily a believer in the quarterback that he is going to live deliver week in and week out and get them there that is my worry even Kell Moore we got to be real about Kell more cuz when Dak got McCarthy he went there when Herbert didn't have uh my man he was going there when he got Kell Moore he went there that the Cowboys had a top five offense like every year Kell Moore was what's the difference between the quarterback play this year and last year when he had Kell Mo totally different he was all pro he's totally different under a different coach Herbert totally different under a different coach so for me I understand what Kell Moore was doing with these top five offenses and all that type stuff but he hasn't shown develop in none these quarterbacks what's it going to look like it's back to another year with another offensive coordinator he had a different one last year he about to have another different one this year what is that going to look like I don't know because the last time I seen Kell Moore with quarterbacks they look better with different people calling the plays so you're not going so him being top five offense for what four years straight you don't care about that I'm was asking you don't do you care about that not at all because the quarterbacks look different the quarterbacks look different under Kell Moore and they look better under other coaches coach Mike who was offensive coordinator for the Chargers before he got there oh gosh uh Lombardi and he looked better under Lombardi true so you think K Moore is gonna is g to hurt I don't know how it's going to look that's why I'm worried I don't know how it's going it's year one we' seen the way the Philadelphia Eagles offense looked last year when they tried to put a little bit more on Jaylen Hertz plate it did not work out right you heard frustration from his receivers and all that type stuff it did not work out now you have a offensive coordinator coming coming in it's a whole new scheme whole new place all that you don't have your All Pro Center you're going to have to be making all these checks getting into the right play I don't know how it's going to look and I'm not a big believer in it right now wouldn't you at least think that the amount of Talent on the Philadelphia offense can help mitigate that but they had that last year though they did get to 11 and one I I think there was how it look there was more to what happened to Philly last year than just x's and o's in my opinion like The Vibes fell off the vi you're right he don't know talk to us about get your sources there you got I mean I would love to hear it if you got something yeah I do but like it's you say we and may we and may I let I'll let it he low key lowkey I think giving Devonte Smith and AJ Brown extensions could go a long way for that them dude both them dudes went crazy last year but I The Vibes James keeping everybody happy keeping everybody involved say hey we value you we're willing to extend you before we have to I think stuff like that matters and I think the morale in Philly should be good with the additions they've made extensions they've gotten done I feel good about them well it is May so we have lots of time to throw this up unless you're me then I
