Airtel Physical SIM to eSIM at Home - iPhone eSIM Setup Detailed Guide

So hello friends, my name is Pushkar And in today's video, we will check how you can convert an Airtel physical sim into an E-Sim But before that, you should know whether your phone supports E-Sim or not I have this iPhone 13 And it has E-Sim support If you're using any Android phone like Google Pixel 6A This device also has E-Sim support So the process is going to be similar next time we will convert Jio physical sim into E-Sim for Android phone but right now we will do with iPhone And the process is the same for both Android and iPhone And for your kind information this video is recorded from the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE rear camera at 4K 30 fps Before converting physical sim into E-Sim you should remember whether the phone supports E-Sim or not First of all, open the messaging app Type and send ''eSIM <Space> Registered email ID'' from your registered Airtel number to 121 If there is no registered email ID You will get to see such a message Where you will be notified that no email ID is registered from your Airtel number so first of all, you have to register your email ID Just call 121 from your Airtel number ''Press 1 for prepaid services'' [On Call] Press 1 then press 2 After hearing the instruction press 1 again Press 9 to talk to our customer care specialist So because we wanna talk to customer care specialist so press 9 Press 1 if you want to transfer your call to 121 Officier So press 1 So friend this way you can talk to the customer executive And you have to tell them that you wanna register your email ID with phone number for eSim They will ask for your email ID So simply share the ID with them to register the ID with your phone number Once you share your email address with customer care Within 24 to 48 hours you will receive such a message Which will have your phone number and email address you were trying to register Write 'CONFIRM' in its reply and send it Once you send 'Confirm' you will see such a message Where you will be told that your email address has been registered to your phone number So once your email address gets registered with your phone number then send ''eSIM <space> registered email ID'' on 121 and you will quickly get to see this message Reply ''1'' within 60 seconds to confirm Once you reply to the message with 1 and confirm the eSIM process You will receive a quick reply from Airtel where you will be notified that you will receive a call to reconfirm the eSIM process ''We got a request to change your airtel number into eSim'' ''To continue your request press 8'' ''Or press 2 to cancel the request'' ''Thank you, your sim will be changed in the next 2 hours'' So press 8 to confirm the reconfirmation call you receive for eSIM and as you confirm the call You will receive a reply message from Airtel According to this message, ''A QR code has been sent to your registered email ID'' Once you scan it to active the eSIM Within 2 hours your eSIM will be activated And during that, your physical sim will work Incoming and outgoing SMS will take 24 hours to activate and as soon as you confirm the eSIM activation on-call You will receive an email on your registered email address which has the QR code Now different phones can have slightly different processes for eSIM activation Right now we are using Apple's iPhone For eSIM activation, we will go to the settings Go to 'Mobile data' Tap on ''add E-sim'' Wait for some time you will see the 'Set up mobile services' page If you're transferring e-Sim from an old iPhone to a new iPhone Select the first option but if you are converting a new e-sim using the QR code Select the 'use QR code' option and here you can see the camera app is open using the camera, scan the QR code you received on the registered email address Here you can see the QR code has been scanned successfully and here it is processing Your phone should be connected to the internet while scanning the QR code Then you will see an ''activate eSIM'' page Tap on 'Continue' It is showing ''activating'' Connecting to network and here you can see the network icon has changed after fluctuating let's have a closer look You can see it showing something like this You will see dots under the network icon in the status bar Here you can see the eSIM has been activated tap on 'continue' And that's it now, we have to wait for around 2 hours Right now in my iPhone, there is only a single Airtel physical sim That's is primary as you can see It is showing ON status And we have converted the same SIM into eSIM which is in process right now So once it gets activated Then might be the 'primary' will be off Or it won't work so once it gets activated I will show you the status and that's how you can convert an Airtel physical SIM card into an eSIM card And once the conversion process has started after scanning the QR code The network icon in the status bar blinked 1-2 times And right now you can see this network icon is different than before You can see some dots under the icon Guys, finally the Airtel physical SIM has been converted into eSIM if you see the control center You can clearly see The physical SIM is showing no service And the eSIM has been activated It took us around 3 hours of time This unique icon of network strength in the status bar because it is in 2 parts And my iPhone has both physical and eSIM in it Physical SIM has been deactivated As you can see the above dot is blank And one network strength in the bottom eSIM bar let's take the physical SIM out of the iPhone before that let's open the mobile data settings Here you can see both primary and personal are ON The Primary was the physical SIM and the personal is eSIM which is after converting from a physical one If we open the mobile data section And try to activate mobile data from eSIM(personal) That's when you will see such a network strength you don't need to do anything else now Now, we will take out the physical SIM quickly my iPhone is an Indian variant can place one sim in this Except that, we can use one eSIM as well Now this physical SIM is useless for us It has converted into eSIM Next time when we have to convert this eSIM into a physical SIM card we just need to visit the Airtel store to convert the eSIM into a physical SIM Because this physical SIM is useless and you can through it And you can see the sim tray is outside And the network is clearly showing If we open 'settings' Tap on mobile data You can see there is no SIM card in the primary section so that's how you can convert Airtel physical SIM into eSIM If you wanna know how to convert eSIM into
