hey everyone uh welcome to another video from no code nomad before we get into this i just want to shout out to my subscribers you guys are awesome if you're not yet a subscriber please do so as you'll be supporting a growing channel so today's video what we're going to look at is how to turn airtable into an e-commerce store so if you're not familiar with airtable then this is the airtable website link is in the video description it's basically an online database and it integrates with many no code tools it's really easy to use it's super versatile you can use it for so many different things and we'll just have a look at the pricing before we go any further so this is their pricing page for this particular setup you are not going to need to have a paid account just yet so you can just sign up for a free account so sign up for a free account is up in the top right hand side here so if you just click on that get yourself signed up i've already actually signed up so i'm just going to sign in and then once you're signed up you'll be taken to your workspace now what i'm going to do now though is i'm just going to click up here and go to my account because i know that in a second they're going to be asking for my api key which is located in this box here so what else do we need to turn our table into an ecommerce solution so what we're going to need is this site called tendetta the link to this website is also in the video description and i've managed to jack up a 30 discount for anyone that signs up through my link so yeah as i said this is tendetta and as they say here it will turn your air table into an e-commerce and it will create a fully functional e-commerce e-commerce plus crm in two minutes you can then extend it and there is no code in required which is obviously what we love so if you're not sure what crm is crm is a customer relationship management system basically it's what runs in the background um for this site so scrolling down what's included like i said there it's got a built-in crm it connects to stripe which as many of us may already know it's a very popular payment system there's no transaction fees which is always nice to see you can categorize your products it's seo ready with rich snippets which allow you to rank in google you get a free ssl which keeps your shop secure you can embed different scripts like a chat box and things like that and google analytics and facebook pixel integration are also possible in terms of pricing they do offer a free account which is on the left hand side here with that free account you get one shop unlimited products basic customization which we'll go through when we've signed up in a second and you get your free ssl they then also have a pro account which will cost you nine euros a month which equates to about eight pounds again you'll get one shop unlimited products you'll get advanced customizations you can attach a custom domain free ssl um you can also include your third-party scripts like we said you can also embed the shop into any other website google analytics and facebook pixel integration are possible facebook and instagram integration is also possible and you'll also get email and chat support if you want to look into this even further they also are going to be opening up an agency paid account as well and those are the details there so just scroll back up on the top right hand side here you should have sign up or sign in i've already signed in so once you've signed up you'll be taken to your dashboard so this is the dashboard so it won't let you go any further with setting up your store until you copy your airtable base across to tender okay so all you need to do is you just do as it says copy air table base save it to your first workspace this does take a little bit of time that's quicker actually than normal fantastic and then that is your um airtable base for your tender shop you can then click on here what they've done here is they've had they give you a little explanation on um the air table base itself so products you can add it edit remove products pricing description categories and put the stock numbers in in the products tab which is in the top left-hand corner here orders every order made free your store would automatically appear here which is obviously again in the top left-hand corner and then customer details are stored in the customer tab shown here so let's just have a look at the airtable base so the products tab here you've got the name of the product how much it's going to cost and you can then add more than what's available in terms of the different variants if your products do have different variants your descriptions can be added here you can open this up if you so wish and then it gives you more space to type in your description categories sofas and then what you can do in the images section you can add more images uh of each product there and you can also add a stock number uh if you need to like so the borders tab show you all the orders that have gone through your um shop so if we just change this to kanban which is on the left-hand side here what you can then do is order received will turn up in this kanban section here and then as you ship it you can move it across like so and then you also got a delivered and a returned section as well and then finally the customers tab this is where the customers details are stored their email name address city country their postal code and what their um order number was so that's what the airtable tendeta base looks like so now we're going to actually have a look at the tendeta dashboard which this airbase is connected to so as we've done we have already copied the airtable base and now what we need to do is we need to enter the api key just to complete the connection so as i initially said at the start of the video you need to come here and you need to copy across your airtable api like and then you need to enter it into this section here and then what we'll do is load the bases select tender press next step and then okay got this and now what it's done is connected your tender store to your tender airtable base so this is what the dashboard looks like down the left hand side you can change the name of the shot to whatever you wish like so you can change your domain you can change the language which your shop is in and then you can also add a shop description as well and then save it when you're done you can then look at the look and feel section so i'm not going to bother updating these but here is your hero image you can just upload a new hero image if you wish and then a custom logo you can add and what it will do is it will replace the shopping bag with your logo you can also change the default font for your shop here font colors buttons and how you wish the product page to look either the horizontal or the vertical i'm going to be leaving it in the horizontal widgets widgets you need to pay for the pro account but here you would obviously add your google analytics your facebook pixel numbers or you can embed any code here again like i said these are not available unless you pay for the premium version then finally you need to collect your um stripe account as well again get your stripe api keys through these through this link here and then just fill in these details here and then you can also set your shop currency below which will be euros us dollars or japanese yen at present uh spoke to the developers and they are going to be adding more um currencies in the future on the right hand side once i've been um adjusting these um settings on the left it obviously updates on the right when i press save so this just gives you a little preview of what this shop looks like but what you can do is if you go to shop settings and where it says your shop here you click on that it'll open your shop up into its own window and you can see what it looks like so this is a completed shop these are the default products that are added upon installation of tendetta this is your little shop description which goes down the bottom left-hand corner and your social media icons are on the bottom right to get these changed as i said you are going to have to pay the um for the pro account to um have these direct to your relevant social media accounts and then the actual site itself has obviously got the products across the middle here you can click into each product or you can add buy now on the main page this is what a product page looks like you've obviously got your gallery here like you would expect on many e-commerce websites you've got your product description with the title and it's cost and then this one has two different variants so you select which variant you want and then you would press buy now when you buy now there's a fancy um checkout cart basket whatever you would like to call it slide out on the right hand side and then obviously this is where you can adjust your quantity and then press checkout here and then if connected your skype account then it would process the payment at present we obviously haven't done that okay so we'll go back to the home page for a second so last thing i want to show you is across the top here you've got your um different product categories so that is tender the links for both airtable and tendeta are in the video description as i said if you go through my tendeta link in the video description then there is a 30 um discount on the pro plan thank you for watching please subscribe it's greatly appreciated thank you bye you
