Ai Hoshino HATED Everyone! // Oshi no Ko 136

the first Oceano chapter of 2024 is here and it was a really crazy and intense chapter that left everyone Gob smacked in the last chapter we followed aqua and gotanda as we were preparing for the scene where Nino tells a that she wished she would die and we saw that the mood on set between Ruby and caror was dark and gloomy in the aftermath of the words that caror had dished out to Ruby chapter 136 starts with a shot of Ruby and Cara who are about to start the scene Cara's eyes are blacked out and gloomy while Ruby is sitting eating some sort of dessert now take note of the dessert because it will be very relevant later on the scene begins as Nino says I you're lucky I'm no match for you why did things turn out this way now we see Aqua onet watching this scene play out and we get more information on the backstory of beachi at the time I joined this gives us more of an understanding of what happened to make Nino feel the way that she does we find out that I joined Bachi later and that nino was already part of the group Not only was she already part of the group but she was also a key figure behind the success Bachi gained in its early days so as the chapter States Nino was actually I senior in the group Nino was a popular member in the early days however when I joined everything changed over time Nino lost all her fans to I we're told that I stole Nino's fans because they shared the same target audience and that Bachi was like a pyramid with ioso at its center now I don't think I stole Nino and the other girls fans I don't think that was ever eyes in 10 the girl is a mystery but I honestly don't think she went into the group with the plan of stealing all the fans for herself I was just a phenomenon you know she was born with raw natural talent and Beauty and the fans just instantly fell for her for I it was just a natural thing whereas the other girls obviously had to put in so much hard work to get where they are now we're told that everyone must have felt conflicted towards I and that Nino's feelings were the strongest and deepest of them all this it does make perfect sense to me from this I get the feeling that nino put in a lot of work and effort of course to get beachi to where they were before I joined and for her to have her payoffs stolen from her in her eyes anyway it would have really cut her deep as we see in this chapter and previous chapters these dark feelings of hatred for I never went away these scars have kept Nino fixated on hating I and I kind of I kind of understand it it's not I's fault things turned out this way but from Nino's perspective I can see why she'd Harbor bad feelings and memories of I and I think it really comes down to how I reacts in situations that make it seem like she doesn't care obviously I can't express her feelings she doesn't know how but the others don't understand this and see it as perhaps I being malicious as she just kind of forces a a fake smile and we see that in how the scene plays out now back to the scene Conor Playing Nino says I wish I were you I I responds by saying what the heck I want to be like you instead which Nino snaps back and says stop that that's a lie the panel here is really good it's simple but the way the eyes have a kind of dead look to them show me that nino was at Breaking Point here she goes on to say well if we just ask the people over there and if we stand side by side and ask them who they think is cuter every one of them will say I she says the same goes for the fans they'll say exactly the same who is more attractive who do you want to go on a date with Nino ER rup saying I I I I I they'll Choose You and I have to say the intensity of this panel is amazing are we looking at a portrayal of Nino here or are we looking at Kaa it's a very powerful panel that captures all the emotions that have boiled up and the situations that have happened over the last few chapters since we saw the real Nino for the first time now how does Ruby react to this well perfectly actually and her response is exactly how I imagined I would react to this the panel shows her unfazed calm and well I like as she says Nah I don't think so Nino is frustrated as she says you always Dodge questions like that you're not even interested in me are you I says I am and Nino shuts her down saying liar the emotions boil over again as Nino says I'm doing my best too you know I practice more seriously than anyone else now the next panel shows the pain and frustration coming out of Nino and or Kaa here Kaa is amazing as an actor and tough as nails but the focus on these tears lead me to believe that some of Cara's true feelings are also leaking out to the performance but in a very great way however saying that we do see what Kaa is actually thinking at this point and how she relates to Nino and sees the similarities in her situation and through this she understands Nino's exact feelings she thinks to herself it must have been frustrating her you were jealous of that girl who was blessed with natural talent and attracted everyone's attention now I think it's cool to see here that the panel shows Ruby and I showing us how Kaa sees Nino's feelings reflecting in her own towards Ruby she continues more than anyone else you really realized that she was special and different from you she had everything your heart desired Kaa pauses thinking about her feelings and relationship with Ruby saying it's actually a little different right now we see aqua and the crew members watching Anor as we get more of Cara's thoughts but they've turned towards her own feelings she says you'll neither hate nor love someone who's already dead for many years she says I know exactly how you feel now and again I love how they've shown Cara standing over Nino here it's a really nice touch that adds to the moment Kaa continues she says Hey Nino when it comes to I before she became your object of jealousy and Faith wasn't she a friend to you now we then see a panel of a flip phone with the number 45510 which if you remember was I's password for her phone the numbers correlate to the initials of the founding members of be kamachi her friends and we see a sweet picture of I and Nino hanging out as Cara's thoughts continue you saying she was your friend but you were jealous of her and admired her she says it must have been painful right now we flick between Cara's thoughts and the climax of this scene happening IRL as Nino screams I hate you I hate you so much and then she says the big line I wish you'd just die as we also see ka's thoughts continue saying wasn't this just an ordinary fight between friends if that person wasn't I I'm sure you'd want to patch things up and be friends with her forever that should have been your true feelings which is why this smile is suffocating her we see here Ruby portraying I perfectly as Nino is erupting and bearing her hate and jealousy I is just stood there smiling back at her friend none of Nino's words seemed to affect I at all and it was this lack of true emotion that really hurt Nino to see this forced smile staring back at her rather than what I really felt was what really caused her pain and Cara acknowledges this by saying it makes you cry doesn't it as Cara leaves the scene she actually seems to praise Ruby's performance and as the scene is about to cut Ganda says wait keep the camera rolling a little longer here he spotted something a small detail that isn't part of the script and what happens next shocks everyone Ruby throws the dessert she was holding against the door in a fit of anger the glass smashes and everyone is like WTF even Aqua we see him completely shocked as he says you've got to be kidding me and the next panel is a truly shocking one Ruby's eye completely in character fueled with her own emotions going off script with two black stars in her eyes says I hate everyone screw them all what did I do wrong anyway the chapter ends with Ganda staring on in shock and awe at what he just captured he knew something was up and he wanted to see what Ruby's performance was going to bring so he kept the camera rolling he wanted to capture the real eye in this movie and by letting the camera continue to roll I think in that moment he knew his decision to cast Ruby was paying off right here and now Ruby herself exploded she didn't care about going off script she was in the moment her emotions combined with how she thought I would have reacted to this all poured out of her in this one moment of complete brilliance and I have to say what a performance from Ruby here now was this how I reacted or not we don't know but it's how Ruby felt I would have reacted and of course her own emotions were thrown in as she probably felt the same similarity in her own situation with Kaa that we saw Kaa go through herself in this chapter for me it would be really interesting if we got this same chapter again but with Ruby's thoughts as the narrative I don't think we will get that but I'm very excited to see the reaction of this moment in the next chapter did Cara hear it what will Aqua do how is Ruby going to be next has she been pushed
