AGS Will NEVER Beat the Bots - Reacting to Cautty's RMT Video

like it's kind of like prisons right or like reforming people quote unquote if you just ban them it's kind of like the death sentence right they're just going to die they're not going to like go back into society and be like a good person they's done but if you give them the opportunity to atone for their sins quote unquote you know you at least get to keep that player I understand why they're doing they would do that right because they want nobody wants people to stop playing the game like as a game company you don't want people stop playing your game he has this uh rmt video why rmt punishment doesn't work in Lost AR to be honest the reason why I'm so interested in this video right is because I have personally been advocating for RM like people to RM tiers to get banned because I personally think that the one way for us to get rid of bots is not by Banning the Bots but by Banning the customers because if nobody is buying the gold right if not many people are buying gold from the Bots then the Bots will go away because there's no money to be made so that's why I advocate for Banning arm tiers rather than Banning the Bots I mean of course you want to ban the Bots but just Banning the Bots isn't going to do anything because Bots are always going to find another way to like crawl back into the game they're going to find another way to make more accounts find another way to make gold very efficiently and as a result sell more gold so yeah okay andreo cuties cot here and I'm going to be making a video I've been kind of camping for a sec uh cuz I wasn't sure if I wanted to actually make this we're going to be talking about the combating r&t post I know I am super late to this uh but I like filmed a video and then I was like that doesn't really kind of like say what I want to say and then I was kind of reluctant to talk about this because this is a subject I've been want to talk about for a long ass time but by talking about this it kind of has like some netive the connotations attached to it and so and I don't want to kind of do that but because it's being spoken about I feel like it's time to just like speak up and kind of like uh get say what's kind of explain that like hey we do ban people even though there's a you know there's kind of like that they don't ban people uh saying that even if people spend money on gems it doesn't protect them from you know getting the gold removed or whatever it is uh and also like you know the fact that they're going to be hopefully cracking down rmt so my first I don't know what the [ __ ] you call this but my first thought on this is that realistically they can just start Banning everyone who's ever arm te because unfortunately a lot of you guys cheat not all of you but you know who you are yeah I'm talking to you see that's something that I talked about the other day on the video the video that I made about this as well right because there is a little bit of a worry at the end of the day that lost arc's population is already a declining population and if they ban every single person that rmts which is to be honest there's a lot of people who have rmt I don't know what the percentage is but there's definitely a lot of people who have rmt um and because of that a lot of people who get banned means that the game population is start start dropping some of those people might make another account and start playing again but a lot of those people aren't so that's definitely a worry you [ __ ] little [ __ ] I [ __ ] see you I see you anyways so because of that uh they can just randomly ban anyone who's ever rted but I always kind of wish they did something like this right where it's like they're like hey guys we're going to be cracking down on armt from this point forward and then from this point forward they start to crack down on people who are actually arming and actually Banning those accounts now this was something that really really got me excited and something that made me really really [ __ ] happy but I there's like a whole other side to the whole r&t topic that I feel like needs to be spoken about because if this doesn't change this will remain an issue now before jumping into this portion of the video I need to give like I guess like a bit of a warning because this is the part that has stopped me from making this video and actually another video on a topic about she in Lost AR because by talking about it I am unintentionally publicizing it I am not trying to do this I did not make this video for a long long time because I did not want to do this but I need to talk about the punishments that are actually given from armt from arm or to arm tiers from arm tiers right because the thing is by talking about this I don't want to promote RT if you armt you're a scumbag don't [ __ ] do it you piece of [ __ ] but because they're starting to crack down on it if anyone there sees this or anyone in the community finally understands what's happening with r&t punishment it's really really [ __ ] important because it has to [ __ ] St because as someone who doesn't cheat and don't chaos bot at on rmt I'm gonna be honest guys I went through like a little period recently where I didn't want to spend any money on the game because I feel like a [ __ ] swiping legally I feel like anid be completely honest with you I decided that my little protest made no sense because I make content for the game I like playing the game and so it makes literally no difference but the reality is is that things like armed tiers need to start getting punished much much much more severely because you shouldn't feel stupid for not cheating you understand and I agreed agreed and that's I I think it was interesting because earlier I was saying that when I thought originally with the title of what he was saying was like saying that rmt punishment doesn't work but I guess what he's saying is just like rmt punishment needs to be more severe honestly I don't understand why they don't put like you know in uh L Arc Russia right they they punish people like by getting like putting them into the negatives of their gold and they literally can't like do anything in the game pretty much until they get their gold back to positive like they need to do something like that here like something that intense to where like it's because the thing is if you get banned right there's this weird like psychology thing where it's like if you get banned it's like all right well I guess I'll just quit the game and not play anymore because I can't play it right but if you get like a punishment like that and not be banned I feel like there's a lot of people who are going to try their best to find some way to like get their account back in place so they can play it again and through doing that through that hard work they were like you know maybe it's just not worth it to rmt anymore and they like won't quit the game I think that that could be a really good kind of way to do it so all Korea are cheaters I mean there are a lot of people in Korea that buy gold like peer-to peer and it seems like that is not like frowned upon as much in Korea I don't know I I haven't really gotten the Vibes too much but from what I know like people don't really get banned for that and like it's pretty open and people are aware of it happening so what's the difference well the difference is for the most part and I'm not going to say everybody right but for the most part those aren't created by Bots that gold is not created by Bots and it's still bad it's still not good but at least it's not like a bunch of bots playing the game adding gold to the economy because here's the thing with Bots right they create a huge Farm of characters to create basically add gold into the game by by running through the game right those aren't real players those are computers and they're just generating gold and adding it to the game those aren't real players again they're not spending money the Bots aren't spending money they're not putting putting money like spending money and putting it back to the economy like that they're just generating gold and putting that money artificially into the ecy compared to like a real player who's actually playing the game and generating that money in a legit manner of course at the end of the day both are not good but it's not as bad for the game to have that situation where we have it's like a peerto peer where people are actually like generating and creating that money by themselves Black versus PE Amazon doesn't care about nonb rmt I mean I think it's just a lot harder to detect it fish being one goal was great ER go Bots are good no sure yep definitely definitely would you want people to be able to swipe and get gold through crystals if you went into the negatives I think so I think that's def like the thing is if you think about it right those people why did they rmt in the first place they wanted to get cheaper gold they didn't want to pay for the high prices for gold right so to them paying normal prices for gold is bad so if you make them pay gold to to buy uh gold through in game through Royal crystals right then it's going to incentivize them in the future to not rmt anymore because they had to spend so much more money just to get back to where they like Ground Zero basically at least that's what I think because if they get banned again or if they get caught rming again they have to pay so much more money to be able to play the game again that at that point it's probably just not really worth it for them to do that like at that point they've already bought a ton of gold with royal crystals might as well just continue doing it at least that's the way I feel know I'm not alone in this there's a ton of people in my community who feel the same way where it's like you kind of feel like a [ __ ] if you don't cheat because cheaters are not getting punished and so when I spend $100 to get 6 Artisans when people can get like you know four or five times that value on an rmt site and not get punished it feels kind of shitty right it feels kind of shitty now the warning has been given I am not trying to promote rmt from this if you rmt you're a piece of [ __ ] but let's talk about the issue with rmt punishment now to start off with you guys probably saw this on the PVP like whatever like the kind of the PVP Point acquisition table or whatever there's a bunch of lock names usually this suggest that these people got banned uh the way this works if I'm understand this correctly is that you just kind of get PVP points for doing any sort of PVP one of the kinds of PVP people do is they will go do the island Soul or not the island Souls but those two like Islands on the weekends those PVP islands that give you like a little B and slime Island five gem those give you PVP points and so technically everyone on your server is adding to this pool or at least anyone who does that event which is probably most players because it's a five minute event that gives you like 1K gold right so a lot of people are doing this and so when we looked at this table uh after the armt post people were kind of like Ming and laughing because you know they literally they they straight up removed zosma zosma as a serfer got removed and ironically zosma has like a huge like fing RT Discord or something it's actually kind of wild so they literally remov zazman I feel like on a bunch of other servers uh you'll notice that there's like a bunch of people who got supposedly banned maybe this doesn't mean they got banned they might have not even gotten banned for rmt this could have been like uh maybe they just you know use some gamer words who [ __ ] knows right it could have been for [ __ ] anything but people are assuming it's because rmt gamer words this isn't a point I just thought this was a funny thing to show off the thing that has to change with rmt is that they are not understanding the amount of gold now first of all in general I think RT band should be permanent I don't know why the [ __ ] it's a suspension I don't understand the [ __ ] purpose of like uh you know even the negative gold thing it's such a scummy [ __ ] like oh please come back look your account's still okay oh negative gold a Shu scoo if only there was a way to fix that they want you to [ __ ] swipe legally right if they think that's the [ __ ] solution who [ __ ] knows if you are found cheating you should be getting permanently banned because cheating is bad I don't understand why they dish out suspensions for for cheating yeah and here's my stance on I and I just talked about this right I think that the negative for me in my opinion the negative gold is like a psychological thing and part of it's also they want to even though they're like it's kind of like prisons right or like reforming people quote unquote if you just ban them it's kind of like the death sentence right they're just going to die they're not going to like go back into society and be like a good person there's done but if you give them the opportunity to atone for their sins quote unquote you know you stop playing your game yes you don't want evildoers in your game you don't want people who are breaking to to be in your game but if there's a chance to reform them and make them into a non-ts breaking player then I think that's you know better than just outright Banning them because also if you're just outright Banning them right they might just go create another account and rmt it all over again like it's cheap enough to that point where they could probably just create another account and rmt it all over again whereas if you don't outright ban their account they probably have a bigger incentive to not just make another character in rmt back up at least that's how I feel it's kind of wild right I know wow does it but like are we really going to hold ourselves to the standard of blizzard like I think we all agree that blizzard is a pretty money grubby [ __ ] Goblin company it's the same idea they want you to have your account to come back to so you keep spending on the game but oh but the arm te bad right guys so the issue with lost AR and the reason that people say people aren't banned for arm te people are getting banned for arm teing the issue is is that I think on the back end and if any AGS employee ever hears this this is is incredibly important to hear they do not find the correct amount of gold and I'll use an example of somebody I know he armed 6 million gold he got banned for three days and they 6 million gold for three days Jesus Christ that's crazy yeah that's definitely [Music] a I would even call it a slap on the risk on the wrist it's like literally like a little flick on the forehead it's crazy is it worth Banning a player uh when player is it worth Banning when player account is already suffering why not spend more money for advertising and getting updates for faster on faster on na I mean you need to ban these people unfortunately you can't just have them running wild it probably it hurts their bottom line more and hurts the player base more to have these people running around for sure in my opinion they uh they did close to nothing during two years I don't believe they will in the future don't know why they would start now at least is how I feel I wish it was just step one warning remove gold step two reset gear zero quality down to the lowest gear um Express gear level step three per bent three strikes are out I mean I don't even think they should get a three strikes are out type of situation I think that they should just get a very severe punishment just you know on the first time like uh again I I don't think that rming is good for the game I think it's really bad for the game and I think that just giving him a slap on the wrist just in for the first time and the second time like that just encourages people like hey I can just rmt and you know if I get caught I'll just get a slap on the wrist it's fine like we don't want to encourage that type of behavior like um you want to make it so that there are consequences for people who do it Beyond you know and not just like oh you get a warning the first time at least that's how I feel only took away 100K why because I assume because they don't permaban right they only found 100K so they removed 100K out of 6 million gold have a bunch of other friends who RT 10 mil 11 mil [ __ ] even recently right I know a ton of people who rmt the issue is that even when they get banned they only get banned for a small tiny little amount of a massive amount of gold they've rted and we have this weird internal system that they're using right now just doesn't ban for the r amount so you can B you armt a [ __ ] ton and you only get banned for a couple of days because they only find a small amount of arm gold so the thing that needs to change with this is that there has to actually be punishment severe punishment even for small amounts because you have to understand that okay guys maybe we're having trouble like figuring out how much gold is actually being armed or how much gold this person actually armed and so the punishments just need to be more severe off the bat if you armed 10 [ __ ] gold you should be getting a severe punishment because the the fact is it's not how much you armed it's the fact that you did rmt just they have to just assume that they don't [ __ ] know the real number and so they just have to penalize the person for the action to set an example and not the amount because like oh well it's only 100K meanwhile like full level 10 [ __ ] you know like perfect delix on every character multiple 1620s multiple 25 weapons like it sucks right it actually really [ __ ] sucks and again if I sound a little bit flustered I'm sorry but this is something that I feel very strongly about and I just finished exercising so like I'm a little more aggressive okay and so and here's the thing right when I was proposing earlier that they should just remove the gold and put them in the negatives I mean if they're only rming 10K I think you know even then right remove the gold put them in the negatives but like put them like significantly in the negatives it doesn't matter how much rmt you do whether it's 6 million gold 100K gold 20K gold whatever just flip that [ __ ] like really far just just flip it really far like negative 100 Mil negative like you know whatever like I I think it should still be severe enough to wear like even if you're like ring a little bit just flip it all the way just flip it all the way you can't rmt 20K gold I think you can I'm pretty sure you can though I don't I I I've never been on an rmt site before so I guess I I don't really know for sure but uh I I'm assuming you can rmt lower denominations I don't know I I just don't know this ban do they ban both the seller and the buyer I mean the seller are Bots right so they're constantly trying to ban the seller they I mean in the past they've always been Banning the seller but they've only been kind of giving slaps on the wrist to the buyer so the hope is from the here on out into the future they're going to both ban the seller and the buyer sign like you know and penalize them significantly has have SM addressed the rmt situation on KR before or is it or it isn't as bad as an NA um rmt and KR exists in a different way from what I know it exists in the form of peer-to-peer rmt in the sense that they're not Bots farming per se it's people who are farming gold people who are ricing people who are farming gold and selling that and from what I can tell those people aren't really getting banned so I don't think they're really addressing it at all they remove Bots all this extra gold then inflation will come down by a lot yeah for sure but I for me when they this if you just remove the Bots and not the players who are buying the gold the Bots are always going to find ways to come back right they're always going to find ways to crawl back into the game find a way to come back and make efficient gold come back and sell the gold I think at the end of the day in order to really combat rmt and get rid of bots it's just prevent the Bots from having anybody to sell to make it so that the players are not willing to buy the botted gold and if they're not willing to buy the bot of gold then the Bots will just leave by themselves there's no need to like you know send a band wave to them they'll eventually just leave and there will be less and less Bots I'm not going to say there's going to be no bosss because whenever there's a need there's always going to be people there to fill it but you know it's going to be a lot less people who are going to be rming if they go and ban the players who are rming and give them a real consequence it's a livelihood in KR yeah and it's even these bot Farms right are a livelihood for a lot of people in other countries too rmt from real people doesn't get banned it's not that it doesn't get banned in KR it's and here I guess right it's not that it doesn't get banned it's just a lot less likely you're going to get banned because it's a lot harder to track the gold I mean think about it this way right when you see somebody trade gold and their name is z QX z77 q a whatever right zqx Q tt7 Zab that person's trading 200k gold to somebody compared to somebody named you know Penny Pincher pooper or something like that like who's like more likely to get banned who are they going to think is actually you know rmt it's obviously the guy who has like a bot ass name not the guy who's playing legitly been playing legitly for for a while you know runs his Guardians runs his uh you know raids uh normally runs with normal players like they're going to cuz they have all that data right they have all that data from like you know your place like what you're doing when you're playing lost AR are you running in like a set path all the time are you just doing the same things over and over again are you playing with a bunch of bots like they have that data so the player who is legit is going to be a lot less hard it's going to be a lot harder to detect than like a bot for example so it's not that they don't get banned it's just a lot harder for them to get banned removing Life Energy activities will reduce the blot school by make a lot yeah but here's my stance on something like that right Life Energy is a part of the game many people think it's tedious but I'm sure there's a lot of people who do like doing life skills and I don't think you should balance a game around Bots you shouldn't get rid of features in the game just because Bots you know abuse it you should find a way around it to where you make it so that the Bots can't abuse it as well sumuk life sounds pretty all right well I mean honestly here's the thing right for me it's like I don't know I just feel like that's such a boring way to play the game just be like a rice farmer and just like sell for money like at that point lostar just becomes another job I mean technically me as a streamer right now now and a content creator lost St is my job but the thing is I how do I say this lost St is not my job I guess playing lar is a part of my job but my job is to like entertain and educate that's how I feel um look at my job as a SC streamer and I'm sure that's how a lot of other streamers and content creators look at themselves right they're an Entertainer their job isn't to play X game their job is to make fun content and entertaining content for other people whereas these people who are literally rice farmers and selling gold their job is playing lost Arc and I don't know I think that's just not fun I think it's so boring names like me so will not get the B they have data dating back for only a week though H how do you know that auno how do you know they only have data dating back to a week I feel like they probably have logs for a while like is is there did somebody tell you that they only have data up for a week like did an AGS employee tell you that I'm just not not sure the moment lar feels like a job I stop playing for the day exactly and that's why I just I don't know rice far farmers at the end of the day they're doing it for their livelihood right it's it's a job for them so I don't think that any player should be like envious of like being a suak or like a a rice farmer a rice eater but for real it is something that I feel passionate about because I don't want to feel like a [ __ ] [ __ ] for spending money legally I've had people make fun of me in my chat when I go into game and people ask hey cot what's worth it in the shop and there's a couple things that are usually worth it right this was a while ago but I was like oh dude this pack is pretty worth it cuz usually it's pretty worth it right this $50 pack right here and I got made fun of by people in my chat and this even like on one event that this is a waste of money because the only thing that is worth a [ __ ] ton of money is the shards everything else if you're spending money in the shop you're an idiot because it's like they're just like suckling money out of you because most people are cheating and that's [ __ ] that's so [ __ ] messed up so anyways I wanted to make this video saying thank you for actually or hopefully this is more of like a warning and they're going to start dishing out proper bands for RT this is in like 2 day 3 day one week even [ __ ] one month that's way too short bro their they should their account should blow up it should be either a permanent ban or the equivalency of a permanent ban because cheating is stinky and it ruins the game for [ __ ] real stinky everybody so hopefully this newsletter was a step in the right direction of them C down and actually giving much more severe bands and I wanted to bring out the other side of this to create this discussion in the community because realistically nobody's talking about this because to be honest if you're talking about this it's like in my opinion even this video I feel horrible making this because I'm not I don't want to push more people to armt it tilts the [ __ ] out of me that people armt but if no [ __ ] person like speaks out about how cheating is happening and what's going on and why people are only getting two- day bans or three-day bans or one week banss for arting millions of gold like it's never really gonna [ __ ] I don't think he's saying like he's blaming rmt like of course he's blaming arm TI right I think RM TI uh at the end of the day suck and I do think that smile gate also has a responsibility to make [ __ ] in the shop better but at the same time and here's what I was saying earlier right let's say smile gate drops their makes a really good pack right well the armed TI can also drop the prices of their gold like because if smile gate makes it so that this pack is like really cheap or like a really good deal that's going to have a direct effect on the economy and that's going to bring the prices of those materials down and the price of gold as a result you know it's going to be um cheaper to buy those materials so what are the boss going to do they're just going to bring their prices down as well so it's going to be a constant race to the bottom which you know can definitely happen again I think that there's a world where it doesn't happen but I do also think that there is a world that it does and it's just like a constant race to the bottom eventually the boss are just going to be like oh this isn't worth it for me to do anymore but at the same time by that point smile gate will have already [ __ ] up their economy like they're going to have to like because if it costs you $10 to [ __ ] push a character from 1,600 to 1620 smile gate is making basically no money at that point from the game so they can't just do a race to the bottom like that even though at some point the bot will probably give up and be like this isn't worth it anymore at that point smile gate will also lost a [ __ ] ton of money as well and like honestly probably ruined the game by that point because they're giving basically in an Essence like the reason why rming sucks is because it ruins the economy right so in in essence smile gate is basically just giving you a legal way to rmt at that point and they that that that wouldn't be good either
