After returning Samsung S95b time for soundbar Q990B

so why I'm returning the Samsung q990b and what is the experience connecting this sound bar to a top of the range Samsung like the Samsung s95b and also why is the experience connecting to the best cell vision of 2022 the Sony a95k if you want to know all the reasons why I'm returning this Soundbar stay tuned after the intro [Applause] hi everyone Marcus here from net pack and if you love Tech this is the place for you and today we are going to talk about the sound bar from Samsung the Samsung q990b and why I'm going to return this sound bar when was the best sound bar of last year and is not an easy situation so I try this sound bar with multiple televisions the last one is the Sony a95k that we'll talk about the experience connecting to this television will talk also connected to a very old Samsung television my old one and obviously connected to a recent one the Samsung s95b and when we talk about quality of sound is recognized by every single one of us that the sound that is produced by the Soundbar is simply incredible and thinking what I paid for it when I purchased with the Samsung s95b that had a discount that if I purchase with the television was 200 pounds off and plus this was like a return unit altogether was a massive amount of discounts but if people are returning so many of this that is a reason why and I'll explain during this video so let's start by the low frequencies and I have to say to you guys that the low frequency is that this subwoofer can produce it's more than enough for an average house or at least an average house here in the UK that is not the biggest if you've been in the UK or if you live here and when we talk about the front speakers and voice capable ability it's it's incredible it's it's really really good it's really in your face and you don't have any problems to hear any dialogues when you are using the Samsung q990b another thing that I have to say to you guys is the utmost experience with this one is simply amazing I I couldn't say best another thing that I really like about this Soundbar is first of all you don't have any cloth material on your Soundbar or on your subwoofer and if you have animals you know that that's definitely a plus and another thing that I really like is the fact that now your screen is on the front is not the most visible screen in the market but obviously it's better than the previous generation the Samsung q950b that the screen was on the top when we talk about volumes it's more than enough so my experience here in my room is I've never been above 35 and that happens more often when I'm hearing some music if if I'm seeing some television never pass the 25 and normally I even have below 20 percent of the full power of this sound bar so if you are searching for something that is really powerful you have a lot of sound the q990b can be for you but wait until the end of the video when we talk about adjustability and controlling the volumes of every single device it's incredible you are able to do that with this device no matter what but I think that Samsung needs to really learn with Sony since this remote it's in my opinion a bit poor because if you want to control the subwoofer I need to go to the settings or I need my phone if I want to change also here I need to go on my settings or using my phone so constantly I always have to grab my phone open my phone connect to the app and after go on settings when they could have obviously add some buttons here and it will be a much longer Flawless experience if you think about usability but they didn't they tried to go very minimalist but that's something that I'm not really happy about when we talk about the recalibration I have to say to you guys that always work flawlessly without a problem and it's so easy to just change one of the speakers for another place and recalibrating all the room it's really really fast it takes just a couple of minutes and you are ready to go and the sound that it comes from it since it's calibrated you almost don't have to do anything I have to say that the only thing that I had control a bit was the subwoofer for me is a little bit too strong so I just drop -3 and it was more than perfect for the size of my room but the experience with once again another Samsung product I really don't know what they are doing this year it's really disappointed so even if it's incredible the sound that you can take out of this little one and I say little because if I think about the the sound system that I used to have here is so much smaller it's simply incredible because it can beat the sound system that I had here but if you don't have a Samsung don't even think about buying this one but even if you have a Samsung you need to be aware of some issues that you'll encounter maybe if you purchase the Samsung q990b so let's talk about connections with a Samsung TV that I don't have it here anymore but one of the first things that you definitely want to try is the Q Symphony and if you've seen my videos about the Samsung s95b that I have returned and if you don't have scene definitely check this one before you decided to purchase that TV the Q Symphony even if it works at least on the room where we are now it's really not worth it because if you want you have to basically be sitting here this distance from the TV so it's too much in your voice you are too close to the television but if you see it where I normally sit that is more or less where you guys are seeing this video you can't hear the Q Symphony so even if you turn on you turn off the experience is exactly the same so I really don't see the point and even I don't understand how in other reviews The Q Symphony was amazing is it the question of settings I don't think so is it a question of updating the TV and now with the new updates that Q symphony is not good as it was before maybe the same happens with the image quality of the TV from Samsung and it seems that it's happening also with this Soundbar but before we talk about the big issues that I had connected to the Sony TV even with Samsung was not good so when the Soundbar arrive you arrives before my Samsung s95b so I connected to a no television already with Arc it was old but he had already Arc and many times I was just losing the connection of the sound bar with my TV and even if I was using the remote turning off turning on many times I had no sounds whatsoever and basically the television were recognizing that the Soundbar was here and that I was using it as my speakers but the spirit itself was not working whatsoever and I thought that that was a problem because I had no television so I wait until I had the Samsung s95b and funny enough when the television arrived the problem continued to be the same so the only way that on those situations I could sort this problem was to go to the plug and just disconnect and connect again obviously you can do this quite often and maybe it doesn't disturb you or maybe it's just a question of the device that I just got it and it's me that I'm so unlucky that the Soundbar is not working properly the television was not working properly or is really a problem from Samsung and I decided to weigh weight even until the Sony a95k arrived to my house to see if the problem will disappear or if there was going to get worse and how can I say this it gets simply horrible even if I love the sound and was the best sound quality that I experienced until today I can't stay with this sound bar and really rely on this device because I saw other persons having the same issues that I'm having online and specifically with Sony TVs obviously I don't have experience connecting the sound bar to another brand besides Sony and Samsung so have that in mind but it really doesn't seems that Samsung wants their soundbar to work with Sony TVs because like I said to you guys more people are having the same issues with Sony TVs and this is the latest TV from Sony the Sony a95k so it should be working at least I expected that it was working properly and let's talk about the problems that I encountered since I connect the Samsung q990b to the Sony a95k and the first one it's Arc connection if I turn off the sound bar you can see that it doesn't turn off the television and if I turn on again it's going to say that the audio is not connected when you are connected to a Sony TV even if you grab the remote from obviously your sound bar is going to turn off your TV and your speakers but the biggest problem is not that and unfortunately it didn't happen in the minute that we are filming but it happens quite often is that you are seeing a film you are seeing a TV show or you are seeing just streaming and suddenly your television turns off by any reason so for that same reason I try to use a TV without using the sound bar and my television never stops to work I definitely noticed that that is a problem this speaker even if I go to the settings and I turn off all the settings of the TV saying that I don't want that the television goes to sleep it doesn't work whatsoever another thing that you guys can't see for sure if I try to use the volume it's working there on the speaker but no signal appears on the TV so even if I use my remote here it doesn't change anything in there so you have to constantly look to that small screen and if it's during the day it's much harder to see that small screen on the corner so definitely something that was not happening when I was connected to the Samsung s95b and that is another big issue if you use your remote of your television and you want to bring up the volume you are going to see that is going to stop eventually so now it's going up and I hope that it stops because you guys can see and now he decided that he wants to go up without a problem and yeah sometimes oh now it stops so it stops at 63 64 64. it doesn't go up more than 64. and now if I bring down the volume and I'm going to bring down for you guys and unfortunately I don't know if you guys can see there but I'm trying to do my best now it doesn't go below 42 so that was the minimum volume that I manage and now if I try to go up again with the remote let's see if he reach once again 63 and 64. and it reached 64. so many times when you bring the volume down it doesn't go up once again to the same volume and now it stopped in 43 so if I want to bring the volume down from 43 because it's too loud I need to search for my other remote and now I can drop the volume as you guys can see I hope that I can show you guys when I'm editing that's really upsetting now yes I can put once again to imagine now it's four and if I grab once again my remote and I go up let's see when it stops and now it doesn't go up more than 23 and this is a reality using your Samsung q990b connected to a Sony TV and like I said this is not just me I saw in forums other people having exactly the same problem another thing that sometimes happened also with this sound bar is that you try to turn off and it basically doesn't respond it's not the case now it's working as you can see appears the message saying TV speakers active or TV speakers off yeah sometimes it takes like 30 seconds one minute to turn off he stays there saying bye and it doesn't change but now I can't unfortunately show to you guys on the video but it happens before to me another thing that happens to me that was definitely not the best experience is when I was seeing a film suddenly the sound gets really really loud and when I say really loud I sing about the subwoofer and I didn't know what happened I thought is it the film so I was trying to go on my phone trying to change the settings Bringing Down the subwoofer to -12 and nothing was really happening so for that I had to turn off all the speed acres and try to connect again and it was not working so I had to reset all the sound system and after that it restarts working so as you can see that's also something at least for me that I'm not happy about another thing that happens quite often the same that was happening with Samsung many times I have no sound whatsoever even if I try to change what is the sound mode or if I try to change what is the door that is connected nothing works for that I need to basically unplug from the wall and connect it once again and the sound system restarts to work with my television it happens even when I was not at home and my wife was sending me message asking I don't know what is happening but I have no sound on the TV whatsoever even if the TV is on and the sound speakers are on so have that in mind when you are trying to decide to go for the q990b that yes was the best sound experience videos that I had in this room no the Q symphony is pure garbage and what you see online is definitely not worth it only if you tell me that you like to be at this distance with the television and for the 65-inch television is definitely not the best once again the atmos is good but I like that the sound on top of you will be a little bit more pronounced but that's just the personal preference that I like to have seen with the Samsung q990b another thing that I'm disappointed with Samsung is it almost seems that Samsung wants to do like a ecosystem that is close to themselves like apple do with their products but they work flawlessly without a problem and in this case I think that they are really missing the opportunity to connect this to other televisions because not every single one of us have a Samsung TV and like you could understand since the beginning of the video I'm returning this one and I'm swapping for something that is even more than twice the price that I paid for the Samsung q990b will I be happy with one of the best sound systems of 2021 and which one it is if you are curious to know that and more and obviously knowing a little bit more of what is my thoughts about the Sony a95k subscribe to the channel
