so please tell me when did you first start questioning who your father was um basically around like five or six kindergarten time wow um so your entire life my entire life adults were making jokes and and saying in sensitive things that they didn't know was really affecting me like oh she could be Carnell's daughter oh she could be the other potential um person's daughter oh she looks like this oh she looks like that oh well um mother doesn't know things like that I mean I don't know what's wrong with us adults while we just don't understand we say things it is something constantly I'm looking at with my friends with people in my own life I'm just like you know for adults it's so easy to say things not realizing there's a child that's hearing this that's been affected by it yes um my producers told me you were named after one of your potential fathers is that true yes I'm named after Cornel I'm just namesake so that's why I'm Cornelia Cornelia okay well Cornel and mother together yes they were together in a relationship okay MH they were um but Janella was born a year before me uh while Cornell and my mom was in the relationship got it so my mom just thought like okay he's cheating on me I'm going to do the same thing back so that's how she ended up uh with my potential other father and that's how somehow I come out of this ordeal and Cornell is Janelle father got it okay then what was what was your was your mother upset by him having another child yes she was sure she waset she was very upset about you and did your mom break up with him at that time yes she did okay yes wow so she was like I'm done with you and I'm finished with this but that is what led you to be in the situation yes yes so Cornell ran off with another woman yes he ended up with uh his best friend's wife so he had to end up running off because the best friend was going to you know yeah yeah we used to actually when I was spending the weekends with carel at my grandmother's house they were living in an apartment up under my grandmother and we used to go down and visit uh the wife and the husband and then I know realized that when the husband went to work me and Carell would go back downstairs uh with uh the wife and her kids and they say I know they're in a relationship and wasn't really good for him or her so they had to hop state to Cleveland of course yeah are you close with Cornell now yes you are yes mhm do you speak to him often I don't speak to him often but we speak okay how do you feel about getting these results today I am nervous MH I know my mom would be happy again she passed I'm so sorry so it was uh uh quite a tragedy for me yeah yeah I'm so sorry about that thank you um I think it's also good to know that um even though now the the two men decide to be
