Adoption Surprise

now a couple of Christmases ago I had the privilege of seeing you at Grandpa's house and I hope you remember that visit yeah I'm going to bring you some toys and that was a good time with your family there and I remember you having a request for a special gift and you asked old Santa for that you could be adopted you know that kind of broke Santa's heart because I knew that was something that I couldn't do and only something God could do but I went back to the North Pole that night and told Mrs Claus and we've been praying for you ever since that maybe that would come about you know old Santa gets to be part of the Christmas Joy by taking around gifts and presents and spreading that Spirit during the Christmas God in his own way really wanted us to understand the real meaning of Christmas and I know that you know that it was the gift of baby Jesus and in God's way by providing Jesus to be our savior he provided a way for us to be adopted into his family to live with him forever one day well I was was real pleased to tell you that that very same God heard your prayers and he has allowed old Santa to be a messenger of a very special gift that he has for you yes that very same God has heard your prayers and seen your strong faith and I'm here to tell you that you've been approved for adoption why and Michelle is going to be your Forever mom and family what congratulations the Lord and may you have many wonderful years together yes he didn't actually mean it does he wait what okay yep your dad signed the papers [Applause]
