Adding honey supers & checking on the queens. 06/02/24

hi this is Gary with yeast bees today is June the 2nd and looks like it's going to rain on us we got to hurry we're going to be busy so we wanted to put some new Honey supers on today and we're just checking these out this is my biggest producer Last year they're on five right now most of them aren't near like this but we're going to check it out and uh see how we're doing if we need another honey super we're just pretty much through our big main flow we do have some others coming up so we're going to check it out and boy there's a lot of bees in here let me get some smoke here bu see how they're doing oh yeah these are all these are all full I'm pull one out these are filled all the way up with nectar not capped off and I've checked them as come up so we're going to put another one on and it's going to be awful C but we're going to do hopefully I built this stand well that's a lot of weight sure smells good to break this limb off here there we way so we'll see if they fill that one up that'll be just about one a week so they've just done crazy good six and we're going to go check our other yards um this one doesn't have a lot of pressure it's only it's the only one up in this yard and then we've got our one that we're trying to fix so there's and there's a lot a lot for them to choose from up here as far as I mean there's about everything you'd want up here as far as flowers wild flowers and trees go so they've done real well and we'll go check our other yards out for just in the main production yard we've got just a few we need to check out this one actually filled this this deep out before I got my queen excluder on as you can tell there's a lot of bees so they probably done pretty well with this we are getting ready to get rained on so I am going to hurry as fast as I can try to get some of these on looks like they're two three about four five frames are pretty well into I'm going to go ahead and leave them next year I'm going to build that South yard up since they have so much more forage down there but this year I just didn't get them built up in time I did a split up there it went queenless and we'll working on that with some nukes we just put some Queens in and we have some time we're going to check on those today they are in need of another I got that one pretty full so let me there real quick I don't know if you can see how they built those out you can see the white Parts on there and every one of them are built out I'd pull one one off but I don't have time but they need another Super so we'll give them one see how they do with it about one two three about four four frames most of these singles were splits earlier and if they get a box I'll be happy this is a single see how they're doing with four five six seven we'll go and put another on them okay we got later [Music] one two three about three that's all they've got this is another one that filled that up before I got my super on yeah about four they on the dark super so yeah this one full get another one okay there's them another new super [Music] one two three four about five six we can let this one go weak for five we better get to going five [Music] five for they have let her out look you see it right there they have let her out so we'll check with her later it's just we're going to it is on top of this so I just want check make sure these Queens are out that one's out [Music] and you see that one she's out okay the splits we did earlier last week are uh the Queens are in they're released so we'll check on them I'll put some feed on them and I'll put a couple more supers out tomorrow I appreciate it thanks for watching
