Add bulk users to MS teams using Text file and PowerShell

[Music] hello one of the annoying steps when we create a new team in microsoft teams is to import the new members because microsoft team allows you to add one by one so in this video i am going to show how to import the bulk number of users using the text file and powershell for example here if we click create a team if we create a class to my student they ask for the name let's use for example test underscore park underscore users and click next and here we need to input the student like email address or the names and also for the teacher especially if we have a long list of the student it would be very difficult to do that one by one so in order to do pog just click skip and then let me minimize and then we need six easy steps to do that the first one is to run the portion as administrator so from my start menu i will i have the the powershell right click run as administrator and then this is the powershell run as administrator and then we need to install the microsoft modules so we need to copy this command here copy and here paste or right click and then press enter and just waiting until that the install of the module which called the microsoft team haven't and here we have the promise ask it y for yes a for yes to all and n for no of course we need a so i will write a and press enter you should see here just like that progress bar and then finally after that it will successfully installed if you face error just restart your computer because some application might use like that would use so you need to stop all the running application as we can see here the module successfully installed we can see an error so we we will move to that third step in which we need to connect to the microsoft theme so copy this comment and right click here and then press enter to connect to microsoft team this window or a similar window will pop up ask you to just connect to which microsoft account for example this is my account i will click here and i can see here my account information here and the next step i need to get the themed group id of course if i wrote just get themes i will receive all the group id to to my teams but i need just to consider the team i am using so it will be easier to just write this comment which get themes dash display name and then the test bulk user and press enter this is the group id highlight right click to copy and then paste here keep it we need this group id after that we need to prepare the csv file to prepare the csv file just highlight all of these cells and then copy and then open the text file create a new text file and then here paste control v we now have all emails if we have all email just we need to save so i will save this one click save we will save on the desktop and let's give any names for example email text and make this is text file or all types just with extension dot txt and then save now we save all emails just that the final step in the final step we need to to put this command but we need to replace your file best with for example that this folder is in desktop which mean c user cell and desktop emails and including the find names and also we need to replace the group your team id with that group id which is the same id for example this id i'll copy here and then paste here in this group id now we finish so we need to take this command here copy and then paste it here before click enter i will show you that this group if we manage the group manage the theme the number of guests is 0 and just the owner is only me i will press enter here now if we didn't see any error it mean that now the teams it's just uploading the members one by one i will pause so the command finished and they take less than a minute just a minute and if we click now for the teams i can see here the number of members is 110. so if we click here just let's require some time to load but finally we can see the member list and their types is members so it it it is very convenient within one minute or within the process is five to ten minutes you can import many users to that microsoft team that's all for that video thank you bye bye
