Acura Integra GS-R Review! I Bought a ONE owner 1997 GS-R

all right everybody quick walk around on the integra gsr again the back story of this is i was waiting at a qfc here in bellevue washington and i saw the car 14 months ago and i sit outside the qfc for about 10 minutes waiting for the owner to come out she ends up coming out i talked to her for a while i asked her if she's selling the car she says no but she's been looking at buying a new car friend seller she needs to buy a new car and you know we get to chatting and i said hey listen here's my phone number it's on a piece of paper here's my name just please if you go to sell this car just please give me a call first and i'll buy it from you you know shoot 14 months goes by you're like okay well this thing is it's gone she probably sold it or whatever in fact i even ran into a kid who i thought bought it he had a similar backstory and i just said up there it goes you know i'll never see it again well about two saturdays ago i get a voicemail on my phone about 9am and it's her and she says hey i'm i'm going to sell the car and buy a new car are you still interested um that monday i go to her house i test drive it i take a look and i say i i have to have it so i buy right there we've got all the paperwork and everything set up ready to go and um i mean that's that's how i got it sometimes you just got to take those chances i've probably done this with i don't know maybe three or four other integra gsrs here in the area um but this one is single owner she bought it brand new in 1997. it has 200 000 miles on it now it was only serviced at acura of bellevue all the maintenance records are in chronological order that she gave me i can go through all of them it's amazing that she kept such great detail of the car and it's in great shape i mean it hasn't been abused at all everything's stock except for the intake i put on it i you know i refurbished the headlights just yesterday and i put hids in it um and i mean that's pretty much it intake redo the headlights i've got some orange side markers or orange bumpers uh turn signals coming in and i'm just gonna refresh it i'm gonna keep it pretty much entirely stock and just rejuvenate the entire car but uh we came to a great deal and you know the price is right and i said i i have to have it so it's uh it's now in good hands i'm gonna take care of it and i really look forward to making some more videos of it getting some good content um i'll get some driving videos soon so everyone else i mean i just want i just want to share it's the same thing i do with my b5 s4 i need to get a little more content on that as well but i mean this is just so fun um it drives so good the transmission is amazing uh she took amazing care of it you know and she kept all the records it was never done it you know some shop here and some shop there it was all done acura of bellevue incredible incredible maintenance history on it and i mean what else do you want it's an integra gsr sure you could have a 98 with with a different bumper in the blades but there's something about this that keeps growing on me and i i do love the car so i look forward to sharing it with you guys all right i wanted to switch over here is the interior of this car it is beautiful absolutely everything is wonderful it's in such good shape the seats i mean that bolster over there is the worst you know the worst part about it but other than that the car is just in and out i haven't done any detailing really at all i did some leather conditioning on the seats just as a preventative maintenance excuse me and um i did the headlights obviously but this is it this is the spoiler i was talking about you know i'm gonna i'll just take this off i'll sand it down probably repaint it um and then put a clear coat on it which i have as well so this is the car it's in great shape everything is awesome the seats i mean it's got the original integra of mats it's in such good shape i mean even the shifter look at that it's gorgeous stock radio stock everything nothing's been touched molested you know she's done the classic preventative maintenance that's been done at acura of bellevue water water pumps you know timing belts all that stuff has been done um the back seats are incredible condition i mean look just look at the leather quality this is incredible a very lucky find again i waited you know i waited 14 months and i just figured hey uh i'm never going to see the car again and then she called me so don't be afraid to go up to people and say hey can i you know are you willing to sell your car um i'll show you the rear i've got some stuff back here but you gotta love the hatchback i mean great condition look at that i don't think the back seats have ever been sat in i don't think the car had ever really hit vtec or the secondary intake until i got a hold of it antenna does not work doesn't matter don't like it don't even use the radio so that's fine um sunroof windows everything works great back seats phenomenal i mean arm rest great condition what else you want from a 1997 acura integra with the leather obviously you know it doesn't there's no there's no gsr blades but those didn't come out until 1998. so we have these i think they're the ls alloys um shoot looks good there's a little bit of cosmetic i mean you're gonna see a couple dents and dings and things like that right but overall i mean things in great condition yes i did have to put an intake on it because i mean when you've dreamed of owning an integr gsr your entire life um you've always wanted one you're definitely gonna put one on so you can hear it headlights again i restored them they're in phenomenal condition now i put some hids in their ballast is sitting here and i have another ballast right there those are both held on by industrial velcro which is great and i can remove them and i have regular headlights with me but this thing is just in dynamite condition um tell me what you guys think i'm gonna make more content i'll do a driving video but again it's you're not gonna see too many that look like this everything's just amazing in the car um i mean she has the original acura book that has everything in it and it's in great condition um i mean anybody want to tell me what that is i've heard it's an alarm button or an alarm reset button not sure trying to figure that out i just don't touch it but i mean it's amazing it's in great shape
