Acrylic Landscape Painting TUTORIAL / Flying Heron / JMLisondra

[Music] [Music] hello everyone my name is john melissandra and today i'm going to teach you how to paint this wonderful landscape painting so today i'm going to paint uh just a normal landscape with the mountains because i think i miss painting mountains and trees something like that glasses and i'm not really sure what will come out on this tutorial but i will just do my best to make it good and can see all the materials needed in the screen you can see there are five limited colors the brushes that you're gonna need and all the things that we're gonna need to paint this painting okay so i'm going to start now and first i'm gonna do under painting and i'm gonna try to put the sky first something like that i'll be using the this i think one and a half inch brush or i think one is flat brush i have here some blue and then white there i just want to make a everything dark now i have some white i'm gonna put on the bottom part a little lighter before i start this painting everyone i added i spray it with a white color sorry i sprayed with water on my canvas i sprayed water my canvas so that it's become wet a little wet and it will be easy for me to add under paint or it will be easy for me to drag the paints or the drag my brush on the canvas there i want it to be smooth okay there i want to put a little red i want this to be much purple's on the bottom part there you go raining outside everyone so it's not too good to do a video but uh if the rain will start or if the rain will i will be ma become much more noisy on the roof so maybe i'll stop but for now i think it's fine everything's fine so there are all my lights starting to off starting to flicker okay so yeah i have the sky now and i'm gonna try to put some dark colors on the bottom part for me underpainting is really very important so i'm doing it first so i'm going to do a little purple colors there try to make this purple i want to put the underpainting first on everything so i like to start it with the purple so okay i want to be i want to put a little lighter here so start with the underpainting first just blend it there something like that i told everyone my plan is not really fix so i don't really know what will come out in this one so i'll just do my best but uh it will make it look good i just try to make it look good okay so i'm done using with my bigger brush now i'm going to use the flat brush or the nylon flat brush so we have here then number eight nano flat brush it's a medium size flat brush i have actually i just use a small amount or a few brushes proven for a painting now i will try to create those mountains i want to create those beautiful mountains and i want to have a little snowy mountains i never painted like that for a long time so here or something like just a normal mountains so here i have a little lighter purple so i want this part to be mountains there maybe in the textures everyone can create beautiful designs there so you serve that the colors a little purples so that there's a dog nice in the background everyone so you have to blend on the bottom part there there so i have to blend there and then here i want to put some um some near mountain in one but i want it to be darker purple or more like uh yeah like a kind of purple there so there okay so we need to blend well you have to blend well and here i have white i want to make it this part misty there just to make it misty everyone so let's see that there are also some low-lying clouds there there okay so i just have to blend it very very well okay and then on this part again i'm gonna try to put one mountain i'm gonna put some some pine trees there yeah so maybe i'll try some more like blue under lumber there okay there you go so you have now those beautiful mountains there yeah so this uh painting one just composed of a lot of mountains okay that's it uh on the bottom part everyone i'll try to make the uh this part lots of rocks so we are i think uh the view will be like we are in the top of the mountain and we are standing there and yeah we're watching the view so we have here the roo umber i'll try to put some white so maybe i will try to look like that this will be a cliff here okay just a row and burn white everyone i'll just try to put something here so that i i i know where i'm gonna put these uh details so this will be a rocky cliff here like we are standing on the on the top of the mountain everyone there okay and i would try to put some blue umber with red or some dark colors there okay so i think it's raining outside i'm sure maybe i will stop as of now okay so yeah so you have now this it's raining outside everyone okay there you go so i will try to make the light coming from this part maybe here i'll try to make the sun coming from this part i want to hit here maybe on this rock i want to emphasize more something like that or yeah i'm thinking like that and then here i'll try to put some cliff like that okay so i'll let it dry first for at least five minutes i'm gonna go back adding some more details okay everyone so i think the paint's already dry now and i'm going to start painting the clouds so i miss doing clouds everyone for a long time my paintings have no clouds so now i'll try to do some clouds okay so i'll put some white because i have no light then i'll make sure that i clean my brush yeah begin here some purples all blue and red and then i have some white i don't even whenever i start painting it'll rain okay so it's raining again so here i have some so i i'm going to put some clouds here so just circular stroke everyone so this will be a light purple clouds so i'm going to spread i just press it we want to make to blend it on the background there i just have to land it there like that then i'm gonna add some horizontal uh clouds there on the bottom part there i just have to blend it well like that and also here there okay another white here on a plane and then here i'll try to put more so why it's raining now everyone i don't know why i stopped for a while because it's raining but now it's raining again okay i think it's stop for a little yeah i have to continue this one the rain will will stop and suddenly it turns back again it's already see so now in the philippines so we have here the white the pure white with a number two nano flat plus it's a small flat brush and then outside to create those beautiful highlights okay so create a circular stroke everyone there and in here yeah so our lights coming from the left side everyone so all the lights will be coming from the left all the highlights will be on the left so i have to blend more adding and blending there yeah i have to put some more white there so we have now these beautiful clouds and also i will try to put some whites here i have to blend also yeah so i have now this beautiful clouds on the top so i think uh i like it everyone so i'm going to put more uh lights i think i want to put more on the clouds i want to put one more set here just a pure white there it's raining again so i have here the purple there and the white so we can put a little more blue and then white there so i have to blend and press the light color here one okay and then start blending here there then i'm gonna put more white there okay so i have to play more here there okay there i'm gonna put some small clouds like that some disturbance to the clouds okay yeah i think that looks good now it looks much more bright there it has been hit by beautiful lights yeah so i think that i'm contented with that and okay so i think i'm gonna proceed down now i'm going to i'm going to make now the beautiful mountain so i will start with the far mountain okay that's it and let's put some highlights there i want to make this mountain pretty realistic so i'm going to uh make some blue and the yellow i want to put more blue but i need some okay and white and also i'm going to put more blue and white there okay so the lights coming from the left side everyone and then the highlights would be all from the left so this will be a forest mountain there okay sure i just have to blend like that here okay so on the bottom part everyone i will try to create those bali we have more yellow and the red and then white yeah it's like looking like a bronze there i want to be i want to make it lighter with a more bluish tone there okay i don't want to put uh like uh brownish tunnels right here everyone because i want to let my audience see that there are rocks also here that's just a pure ah virus but also some rocks there and then they want to put more bluish yeah more bluish and then white so i'm gonna put uh some a little uh lighter colored one because not everything will be covered with darkness so i can put more light there but uh we can see that the light still hitting that part so i like this mountain run looks pretty realistic the color realistic and yeah it looks good just very simple mountain but looks good it looks realistic and the light is good also so yeah that will be enough for that mountain okay yeah and i want uh this mountain to be really near and i you can see it and i will try to make it like um like uh you can see those uh forests or some rocks something like that some grasses so it will be like that so i have here the bristol flat brush i'm gonna try to use a bristle flat brush for this one okay i think this is just too big everyone i'll try smaller one i'll just try to use uh maybe just a flat brush number eight the medium size nylon flat brush okay so i will be using again some bluish or yeah or blue green i'm gonna mix for blue and green green and then white and then i'll start adding some highlights here there okay so this part i will try to make like a forest and on the bottom part there will be a river something like that so we are overlooking there okay so i think i will be using again a smaller brush everyone so number two uh nylon flat brush so this will be a far rise that's why i will put more more trees i'm gonna make it much more bluish there okay uh not just that everyone also put some like reddish brown trees there okay and then this ru umber with white i'm gonna put the shoreline there there and also some more glass grassland so light and put some light greens need some yellow something like that or orange right here i'm going to put more there okay so as you can see in that part everyone can you can actually feel that this part or you can see that it's a forest and there are trees there some grassland something like that so it looks good okay i'm going to continue i'm going to put more more bluish there so yeah these are some flowers here everyone on this part so i like how it look like so and then uh the water run i'm gonna try to make it uh very bright i'm gonna reflect the light of the sky so i have here some light blue mixing it with the existing blue here purple and then what on red and then white there so i'm gonna put the water here and also the reflection okay and so i need to make it like a disturb water one there at least you can see that looks like a river okay yeah yeah i'm gonna make bright on this part here i want to let you see the reflection also of the of the clouds [Music] so there there okay yeah i think that will be fine yeah that's good yeah i think that looks good everyone yeah i'm gonna make this mountain very very near to us so i'm gonna put more um more brownish color there or greenish yeah i'm gonna make it brown i think so i have here the bristol flat brush i'm gonna appear the umber with some yellow there so we can use the topping technique there i have here some red with the yellow okay i'm going to make it brown also here one i just brown but also windows to put some green so blue and yellow just stopping technique everyone and feel everything here there and then i will try to put a small pathway on this on the top of the mountain so i have here taru amber with the white so here there and i have put our umber yeah okay and now i will i will try to put some highlights so starting with a little orange colors okay so just tapping technique everyone i don't like this brush everyone i should have bought a newer brush there there there okay just tapping technique and you can create those beautiful textures okay there you go down okay everyone yeah and in the top i will try to put some some pine trees to everyone i think it will be good so i have here a new bracelet flat blasting this will be good it's a very new i need to remove some base or whatever on the on the bristle okay so i'm going to put something or i'm going to put some pine trees on the top so i have here the blue and the red i want it to be dark with a little yellow just a little amount of yellow to make it to make it a little kind of finish so let's start with a line here there and then i'm gonna make it taller but if yeah i think it's on the top then let's uh put some leaves so use the tip of your brush everywhere and then make it zigzag something like that there okay so the same color and make sure that the top should have no so much leaves also here okay a little shades for the for the highlights or for the shadows and then i'll be using this brush again to create the highlights of the of the uh of the grasses so i'll be using white red and the yellow and then just tapping technique here there okay there you go and then i'll try to put some brownish for the or some for the pathway so just light lumber there i want more light here there and then i'll also put some rocks a rumbler would write everyone maybe here oh i'm going to put some real umber okay so sure that there are also rocks there i'm gonna make it lighter okay that's it so it looks good yeah so there are rocks on the pathway and i need to put also some greenish highlights on the on the pine trees there on the top yeah of course yeah i want one to put a tree here everyone with the flowers yeah but yeah i'm gonna do it uh in a few minutes i'll just uh put some greenish uh leaves on the pine tree so first i'm gonna mix for green a little light a little light there and now i'll put some highlights i just put yellow and then white there okay and then some lighter brown or umber rubber and white only let's put some okay so you can see the the trunk okay the street trunks yeah it looks good looks pretty realistic i want to put a leaning tree there on the on the a little right everyone on this tree so yeah i'm gonna put one there maybe some flowering tree okay so yeah i'm gonna use this swamper with the dark purple here i'll just put it here you're seeing the number two nanoplath brush there where's my small brush i need to use my smaller brush okay so this time i'm gonna use the number one liner brush or zero liner brush i'm sorry here okay and then let's put some highlights using some yellow and the red with the raw umber and in white okay i will try to put a little flower there so red and white i want it to be much like pink so not so much everyone just less less is good because this is an old tree also yeah it's raining again outside there okay that's it so there's a flower now or yeah something like that okay i'm not sure if it's bothering you everyone the noise of the of the outside rain so i'm not sure okay so uh i'm not sure if i'm going to continue but uh i think i'm gonna need to continue okay so i'm gonna try to put now colors on the rocks so i'm gonna do it here first before here i'll do it i'm going to do on the right side first adding some highlights on the rocks so i will be using again this number two nano flat brush and then a row umber yeah a little yellow and then white so some highlights not like that the light is coming from the left side so all the highlights will be on the left there this will be made of rocks everyone at the top there okay and then i'll try this row amber there need some yellow also so it's raining now longer trying to put a lot of details there so i will touch more with the roomba yeah but i have also to put some darks blue and red so i'm not using any black everyone just blue on the red to make some dark purple there there i want to put more red a little umber maybe with the blue hopefully the rain is starting again i'm not really sure how to finish this one isn't upon some darks here i want to make it a rock a rocky everyone i want to put but there are a lot of rocks there okay and then also to put some raw umber with uh yeah maybe we'll put some purple red and the blue here and then white there there i have to put a lot of purples will look like an off color uh the color the part which it doesn't hit with the lights you see here i'm gonna make it a little lighter okay here i'll put some orange everyone yellow and the red and a little white more red maybe more white everyone i'm going to make it bright there i want it much more yellowish or radio chevron because of the sun okay there there okay and then also i need to put some greenish so blue and the red and the blue and the yellow with a little lumber there so i'm gonna add some white and the greenish with a little bit more yellow to make a little lighter color i'll see everyone there's some yellow okay there yeah i like how it looks and run looks uh it looks uh relaxing with plenty of rocks there okay and i say bro i need to put some small rocks also not just pink rocks but small rocks i'm using this romber or with the white i'm gonna make it a little lighter just create adapts here there okay okay so i think that looks fine so i'm gonna continue adding here i want to put maybe i'll try to put some some plants here but i want it to be a glow i want it to be very bright here because uh yeah i want to make this part like uh i want this to continue until here i'll connect that okay i'm thinking everyone uh what i'm going to put yeah maybe i will try i will put here a bird that's flying here or crossing over this valley okay so i'm searching forward so i'm going to put more glasses everyone okay so yeah here i'll try to and i will be using this small bristle flat brush because i think the other bush is too big for that so i'll try to use this red and the yellow a little browns and then i will try to put some blue with the yellow so just stopping technique everyone there okay and then i'll try to make some yellow on the top on the edge of the brush to create the good highlights on the top there just put on the edge of the brush everyone and i'm gonna try to put some white in the top there okay not just whiter but maybe some red there and then some some other plants also here i'll try to put a little there and also here just stop continuing everyone i can create those beautiful details okay so do not overdo it just remember that okay so we have now a wonderful background so what i want now is to put something subject for the entire view so i'm not contented with this one i need to put something that will catch our attention so first i'm going to put something also here some some tree in the background there a little brighter brightness okay yeah and then yeah last part will be the here on here i'll try to put i will try to draw i want to put it here in the center something like that is flying over so i have here the blue and the yellow i know the blue and the white yeah maybe here so so if you have painting with me everyone just follow what i'm doing there okay uh the light is coming from the left side so i want to emphasize the lights here there i'm gonna mix for a little bluish or light purple so there it's raining again i have plenty to stop okay and i'm gonna put the the dark so i'll just mix the purple you have here the the blue and the red i'm sorry everyone if uh the rain is bothering you in my background so this will be the wings so everyone the rain is really there i hope you can still hear me there okay there so i'll just finish this part everyone so i'm gonna put a lighter yellow here hopefully it will not rain or else i don't know if i can finish this one sometimes i don't like rain although rain is a blazing but this night it's not a blessing for me here i'm going to put some lights so i'm going to put more lights everyone i've been painting for i think three hours this painting because of the rain i cannot finish it i need to stop there yeah i will not make it so much clearer because um i'll just make it like a yeah it looks like a bird for me and i want to show you everything one i'm almost done so i'm going to retouch i'm going to retouch everything to put dark or something because like i still can see darks here i need to erase all these things so i have here the umber try to put it here i am now in the process of retouching everyone [Music] now so i need to put some darks because uh there are darks here also some rubber there yeah i need to refill some blue so i'm going to put some darks everywhere so the the contrast or the depths will be much more seen i have to put some darks here because of the rocks you can also see some darks there there put some umber okay so i want to see it in the car i want to try to see if it looks good yeah i think it's much better it's way better now you can see the darks the depths so yeah i think i'm continuing this one everyone i don't want to i really wanted to finish now this one because uh i i stopped many times because of the rain it's bugging me it's it's rains and it stops and it's raining and stuff and and i have to sleep okay so yeah i think even though uh i finished this one so late but i'm still contented with the entire result it looks good yeah it's it looks not so simple but in the entire process it's still simple everyone because um still the same with my previous paintings but this time the form the perspective is a little different and also it's uh on top something like that so it's kind of different compared to my other works i think i um i also painted like this before but uh this one is a little reflect refresh for my previous work because i always paint like uh there's no mountain something like that so i hope that you're happy get something out of this you learn and you can get uh you can also paint your own like this i know i don't know uh the hero under the bird looks a little bigger but i think you know he just fly closely to us maybe between the mountain the nearest mountain and the rock this will flow he is flying in this center or something like that that's why it's very very near to us okay everyone so i want to say
