thanks so much for joining us on CBS news Baltimore I'm First Alert meteorologist Abigail dler today your Saturday shaping up beautiful especially for the afternoon hours by the 3:00 hour we're in Peak Heating and it looks to be sunny and nice really soak it up and I cannot enunciate that enough because as Sunday rolls in we're not going to see this warm of a temperature or this sunny of Skies so really bask in it by tonight we are dealing with that cloud coverage starting to move in that's going to act as a blanket overnight and keep some of these mild temperatures closer to the ground so we're not waking up to the 30s or at a 20 Dee deficit we're actually going to gain a few degrees compared to what some of us woke up to this morning mostly clear for the first half of the evening then as we transition into the 2:00 3:00 hours of your Sunday morning those Southwest winds will push in some warm moist air and that will allow some cloud coverage as well so we're going to track these winds signified by these green arrows moving here and also this cloud coverage this is 3:45 p.m. this is right around Peak heating when you really should be outdoors enjoying your Festival uh festive weekend green especially for your Sunday since it's St Patrick's Day we're going to see some cloud coverage try to make its way in but not really stick until we go into the latter half of your evening this is when that cloud coverage just kind of converges on us and we're going to see this warm moist air push in from the south Southeast and Southwest it does kind of get jumbled but generally from the south and that's enough to add some moisture to our atmosphere so for today sunny beautiful nice tomorrow still not too shabby we're dealing with the middle 60s little less sunshine and a slightly greater chance of a stray shower not looking overly significant your Sunday looking at about a 0o to 5% chance and really what that means is an isolated pocket of rain is possible it'll be brief in nature and not looking like downpours by the time Monday rolls in we're dealing with some cooler air but it does look like it carries some rain with it that cold front that has been making its way towards us finally sweeps through and that's why we'll be dry for the middle half of the work week and definitely cooler by the time the work weeks end we will see some milder conditions so hold out for Friday for the 50s to start to boost again Wednesday not too bad we are going to see some of these winds really pick up thanks to this frontal system pushing through we are dry for both your Tuesday Wednesday Thursday we're seeing mostly sunny skies but by the later half of the evening we could start to see some cloud coverage move back in that will keep us a little milder overnight and we will see eventually once again rain moving in and the middle to Upper 50s move back into our forecast
