A Walk on the Beach

we'll see second and I my first rock hunting trip of the year here are you at Lake Huron I thought I'd show off my fancy Rock hunting apparel I got my stormy Cromer my waders my decoy gloves lay hold me a trot scoop and a bucket and I'm excited yeah it's a little bit choppy today be hunting in the water but I'm gonna walk this way for a little bit see what I see there was ice here two weeks ago when I checked there's a little scouting trip and the whole Bay was covered with chunks of ice all broken up the waters a little chilly hence the waders yeah that's kind of hard to see in the water here so I think I'm gonna head to the shallower stuff c1c2 not a great one I just leave that here definitely not a keeper which I usually throw them on the water so don't pick them up again except they can't find it already yeah I'm not gonna keep that one either okay but there's some bad spots pretty bad that one's also not a keeper see on the brown stuff there it does not polish up well muddy eyes [Music] [Music] rocks this looks like I might be in Omar these holes and I'm usually I find these in Lake Superior I'm not gonna keep this one it's kind of cool that's a really bad toss ski and they get this well it's got the brown spots and then it's got kind of poor spots along there oh good and there's a pudding stone that's a really bad pudding stone [Applause] here's the other rock I look for them out here that is a Michigan pudding stone that's about as good as I get you might be wondering why I walked in the water when there's all these rocks on the beach [Music] which one of the pattern shows up it really stand out in the water and they're really hard to see on the beach not doing very well and put your Bosque stones today put the putting stones are making up for it I just walked the other one back to the car there's a ways away guess I'm going back to the car again Wow thank you better than last one that's the only snow I've seen a little bit of ice left right there it looks like it's big but I'm leaving it for someone else you find quite often it's kind of partially pudding sir bass Keystone a little bit right there but the rest is all just flat another poor old fossil there - they're not all good TAS Keystone and some other corals in there [Applause] pretty consistent all the way around you know a bad stripe in there the deeper water huge
