A Very REAL Day in My Life as a Teacher! | Teacher Vlog

[Music] hi guys I just wanted to come on here before you start watching the video and kind of forewarn you guys so that this video is a very real day in my life it's not anything fancy no fancy camera angles nothing about it is staged it's literally going through my day and commenting about it every now and then so if you're looking for something that's kind of like a high production video this is not a it's literally me going to my day commenting about it from 6:00 a.m. all the way to almost 9:00 p.m. so that's what this video is [Music] all right I am done getting ready I'm actually need earrings and then I'm gonna head downstairs and get my lunch box together and then head out I think depending on the time I might go Bruins depending on time I might go to Starbucks and grab and grab a Starbucks for myself I might need and my and then my other aid that I have in the afternoon the angles in this video are gonna be interesting just because I'm trying to show you like an authentic day in my life not really super stage because this is how it is charge me watch put your rings on and then honey and get upstairs village I'm packing some Mexican rice and then a that I made that I made last night to have an apple when they're all ready and now I'm just gonna add a few snacks because I do get hungry during the days I'm gonna go ahead and get some grapes I think I'm gonna go ahead and some strawberry bubbly another little like this and just pack some oatmeal over my breakfast hey I mean Alex overnight oats but I don't like him that much I just have instant flavored oats which I know I'm not the healthiest why it's better I'm not eating any breakfast at all and then I think that's it all right so now my lunch is packed I mean to put my shoes on I keep my shoes downstairs where these said I wear pretty much every day I can't find the other pair I actually did not find the matching chair all right literally can't find it so I'm guess I'm wearing these a funny story with this other shoes is that I used to take my gym bag and change at the gym so I was so I was wearing those chairs I changed pack my things came home with some packing agent back and I forgot as she did you and I when I just put it in the lost and found and people were laughing that's like who would forget shoe it's like me I would I think I do have a little bit of time to go to Starbucks so let's head over there the last few times we've gone to Starbucks before work the line isn't pretty fast but last Friday I went a little bit later than I usually do and that was annoying and there was a ton of blood day so I'm hoping that today it's not that bad but I have a feeling that it's gonna be bad but I'm already committed so how'd it go so I'm usually not the kind to get the Starbucks before work because it's kind of pricey like there's really no reason for me to get it but with that being said it's still pretty good my in case you didn't know I haven't you aid she started I want to say like towards the end of this number like towards the end of the you can only see a steering wheel she started towards the end of the second corner and she is great I love her class three weeks she's been bringing me Starbucks so at this point we are just playing like Starbucks tag she brings in one day I bring into the next day so she bribe yesterday some breeding her Starbucks today as well as well as my other eight I feel like it will cheer her up so that's why I'm doing this I mean you don't see me getting the blog but it's D my life right all right the lines not too bad sorry for me 31 joke but free all day yesterday hi can I have two venti of mango dragon free refresher and then can I also and that deal I don't know they got the Frappuccino order right probably but [Music] so right now I'm just prepping materials that I mean or taste so just power pointing like that all right Simon kids are at recess or running a little behind because we watched a musical it was so much fun it was Mona Lisa on the loose they came to her school and it was literally so much fun I didn't expect it to be this fun my kids were loving yet they had never really seen a musical before so seeing their reactions and laughing and engaged was amazing so I'm gonna go ahead and work on some things did you have fun yesterday [Music] as one at recess time some walking to my car have my exit tickets I'm going to the store real quick to buy some birthday cupcakes or something of that sort because it's sort of spur thing and did it last time I usually do that they bring their own so let's go do that to play this day fast and flying by I'm gonna get a few zebra cakes and then I mean absolutely free option as well character Reena doesn't fall that's making the sound sometimes ch makes I know it's crazy [Music] I'm done with my ones I'm eating surprisingly it's pretty early it's 348 usually we're done a little bit later but my group and then and that's what we need to do fast so we're done it's just kind of walked through what we've done today I was a total day after we had a play we had a play that we watched then we had recess and a few stations actually just one rotation and then we went to lunch came back story time writing math PE a little bit of science and then stem time so stem buy some time I mean like our exploration time little by little I've been gathering more like stem-based toys like coding robots Legos and other things like that so that our playtime can become stem time [Music] okay so I just got home and usually when I get home I just kind of hang out in my car for about like five to ten minutes catch up on any social media and then I go inside like this is literally what I do every date I don't know I've been doing this for a while like I just hit my car scroll through social media watched a few YouTube videos and and then once I think I'm ready I going to make I go into my house and I think it's because it's just a way to decompress before going into the house even once I'm home like I'm not really done done essentially this is my me time cousin I go in make dinner play with the dogs plan grade everything in between so this is like my me time so all right think I'm good want a good change I just want to go change into like workout clothes because I'm over this outfit already so let's go inside I'm not really looking forward to creating I am way more comfortable now I'm gonna go ahead and get started with dinner I'm gonna make some buffalo chicken wraps so let's do that all right so I heated up a little bit of pasta I'm starving I should he is what I packed my lunch box and because today was like a little not a little today was way off than our butyl schedule I didn't get to eat everything so I just would have quite a bit of my lunch left because I went to the store as you saw I didn't even eat my oatmeal because I usually do it during recess but we did it when the half race is gonna be hard to play so I didn't eat that give me all my veggie chips I didn't show that I put betting chips in there by her to eat them all there's that didn't drink my bubbly cuz again no time I was I had an apple that I didn't eat I did not eat my grapes I'm starving so we can go ahead and eat I'll probably do not be home for another hour or two so technically what I'm cooking it's still dinners so technically this is like my lunch because my lunch was my breakfast kind of so I'll just eat what if I'm making oh no I have a crap and make them something uh subscrube chapter I wish I could say I'm being super productive and grading as I have food in the oven waiting for it to be ready but no I'm just really tired right now the shoes that I wore today we're really cute just really like complete the outfit but man they hurt my feet then they didn't realize it until I took them off when I got home so now I'm super tired alex is still not home so I just want to I'm just I'm just laying down on the couch waiting for dinner to be ready and then when alex is home we'll walk the dogs and then I think he has a soccer game tonight 9:00 when it's earlier like at 7 or 6 or even 8 all I usually go to a soccer game and watch him but it's at 9:00 which will be done at 10:00 which means he'll be home by 10:30 so I think I'd rather just stay here and see if I can do something yeah I'm just relaxing Simon exhausted I'm so tired literally feel like it's been non-stop since like November and things that work to still slow yeah all right so we already want the girls and then just put leftovers away in the fridge pack your lunches now it's time to put away clean dishes and put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher yeah this is the riveting exciting life of a teacher on a weekday for real low like this is it like as my life has the teacher and I'm not gonna sugarcoat things making this more exciting dress for the vlog so this is it because what you kick is so close to just stopping the blood there and just getting ready for bed and going to sleep but I'm not I just left for his soccer game it is 8:23 it is 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. so um it's Valentine's Day on Fridays and today's Wednesday and I still don't have my Valentines done I brought these I didn't call like shuttle pants but have no idea what they're called they're the ones that like have different colored ink and you can just press it down for the color that you want so I bought these Aminah give those to my sister's with a nice little card originally I was in do fidget spinners but I couldn't figure out like a cute bunny thing for the card so instead I opted for the pens and I know my students you're gonna love those because they just love writing and pen for whatever reason I'm gonna go ahead and make the card print them out and probably laminate maybe not I don't know I think I have everything I need for the meeting tomorrow that I have for the committee a minute the shadows really not very flattering looks like I have black eye but I swear that I don't [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right so I think I'm going to end the vlog there it is currently 856 I mean I finished doing this and then I'm gonna get ready for bed because I'm honestly really tired I know I wanted to grade it and such but I don't think I'm gonna do it today next week we have two days off so I'll just do it then and catch up then so yeah that's it for
