A Tower of Ramen - 24 Hours of Eating in Fukuoka

hello hello it's our last day in fukuoka so we're gonna have some ichiran ramen the famous ichiran store let's go [Music] so we are now finally eating ichiran in fukuoka where it originated from it started all in 1960 i think so this ramen has been perfected over decades no wonder it tastes so good and now we can taste where it all began yay let's go eat so you can opt for the count at level two or a table wow i've never seen a table at ishira so here at the bottom is level one you can sit down like a traditional restaurant but we want that lovely ichiran experience so we're going upstairs to level two it's a little bit longer wait though ramen for breakfast is the best idea we've ever had although it's going to bloat my face throughout the day so please enjoy triple chin child so we're now sitting at our booths very excited to eat ichiran at the first store in the world doesn't taste any better let's find out guys i went beast mode i got my ichiran oh my god look at that broth i got some shredded pork on the side pork mushrooms seaweed oh my lord very excited for this bowl it is time for the noodle pool and i also got extra noodles as well because i went in fukuoka eating at the first ever ichiran you know i'm gonna have to get as much as possible oh yeah oh yes okay that's enough i'm eating now it's really hard to film while eating at these stores so you just gotta trust me when i say it's the best ramen in the world and that was as awesome as ever incredible great stuff it was the best ramen ever i know some people don't like ichiran but it honestly fits my palette so well it's so perfect for me and i just freaking love it yeah and also how does it compare to all the other ichiran places like osaka and tokyo i mean the noodles were the same the broth is the same so you know you can enjoy it anyway it's still gonna be delicious all right so delicious let's start our day we are now virus protected the coronavirus has been spreading all over parts of asia a few cases in osaka so we are staying protected from that oh man it is stressful i think about it every day whenever you see some tourists walking around they start coughing i freak out a little bit but what can you do you know you live life and you hope for the best so that's what we're just gonna do we're gonna keep eating and if the virus wants to fight me i'll take it on we're now exploring canal city a shopping mall in fukuoka [Music] [Music] yay let's try the 10 second challenge get these little things into that spot there just get it oh they have an evangelion store yeah [Music] this is really awesome wow evangelion flannel for 200 [Music] highly recommend this store if you're a fan really cool stuff no ah uh-huh jump stall let's go found a demon slayer gotcha guys let's try it out these are pretty rare in japan so twist come on yes tunjuro [Music] we're getting our caricatures done now hell yeah it's been a while so we got ours done we decided for food background and an anime costume selena's got chopper and i got tangido i'm really craving some crepes so we're gonna try dipper dan at canal city big selection of different crops wow oh even a sausage one [Music] oh yeah i get to watch them make it as well smells so good so i got the chocolate brownie with banana cream and vanilla ice cream it looks delicious but compared to the harajuku one it looks a bit smaller whoa big bite from the side the brown is really good it's still really delicious but i think the best crepe that i've ever had is the one at harajuku the marion crepes i believe it was cool but delicious all right we're gonna try one of these fish croissants they also sell takoyaki here too now trying out this fish dessert it's like a croissant sweet glazed looks pretty tasty oh okay this one has been sitting out here for out for a while so it's not that fresh or crispy it's quite hard tough it's just all right definitely if it was fresh and straight off that grill it will be a lot better nice sweet flavors good red bean but just not this one i have so we found another demon slayer gotcha this one's really cool it's got a nice tonjiro a lot of characters so this one's gonna be rough the rest are okay but tanjiro or i think these these two are probably the best for sure so there's only two left and they're two purple ones so i don't think it's tangible we buy anyways orange oh orange it's the guy that prays and you can't see his eyes either there's one more left in here and it's sold out as you can see this comes out it's him again yen and i got two of the same guys all you gotta [Laughter] so there's surprisingly a lot of anime stores in fukuoka such as an animate one of the biggest animates i've seen a mandaraken even a one-piece store so if you're in fukuoka make sure you check it out a weeb's paradise [Music] oh oh she's sleeping [Music] and that was canal city in fukuoka it's a big big shopping center so make sure to check it out if you have time bye [Music] welcome food fam this is a small review of the 7-eleven pizza box i've actually eaten this already many times and it is so delicious i recommend getting the one in japan because i've tried the one in korea and hong kong and they're nowhere as good as the one you get in japan this is good for a small snack before dinner or before lunch or whenever you get hungry okay oh oh my god so delicious look at this smells so good as well i had to go to three 7-elevens to find this you can also get our family mark we also went to a few family mars but that was sold out it's pretty late at the moment hmm all that cheese i can probably eat about 12 of these i reckon they have other flavors too like pork buns beef buns custard buns but this is the best it's so warm it's nearly finishing wait can i have a bit on bite come come come join their pants on it doesn't matter everyone's seen your butt already come in all fun delicious yes nice yeah oh good boy do you want the last bite it's for you no it's not you weren't gonna give me any but i can't be greedy just have it okay this is for you guys [Music] so for dinner tonight we're having hakuta iso which is a hakata ramen a specialty in fukuoka yes so let's see how it compares to the ichiran we have this morning oh yeah let's eat dinner time let's go holy crap this ramen looks so exquisite look at it frothing that broth so it's a pork miso and added sake broth in there so the smell in this room is just something else i can't wait to try it so this is our first time trying hakata ramen look at that noodle pool oh my god just a bit of an appetizer akita ramen is known for their long thin noodles and also their pork miso broth straight from the bone and here they've also transferred the soup from three separate pots so it's very unique in its own way the background music in this restaurant is so intense it sounds like a street fighter game or something we've got egg mushrooms seaweed spring onion and pork pieces very thin pork pieces right there so the first thing i'm gonna taste is the broth apparently the broth is everything when it comes to this ramen so oh my god that's incredible holy [ __ ] wow so many oh so many flavors and it's really clean it's not that fatty actually so it's just an amazing pork broth now onto the noodles you definitely have to try this out this is on the same level as issue run just something completely different something new and something so delicious delicious ramen it's always nice to try something new in japan and it also has a hint of sake that you can actually taste but it's not overpowering it's really nice complements the ramen you also got some gyoza look how cute these little pieces are me that was pretty damn good i really enjoyed that if you're in fukuoka i recommend you try it is it better than ichiran though i don't know i think ishiran is the perfect ramen for tourists because it's got everything you want whereas that one it does have a slight sake aftertaste not everyone can bear that or really enjoy it but i thought it was quite a nice change refreshing to try something new now delena is going to have her dinner because she couldn't eat any of that it was way too porky are you eating another one it's my second one today is that another pizza bun my goodness [Laughter] oh she's trying to get out that fake pizza bun taste out of her mouth that was horrible it was so spicy these donuts will do the trick time for delano's dinner which is the most important time of the day at tonkatsu matsunoya i love this table perfect for a blind date excuse me so what's your favorite hobbies things that you liked it oh oh pretty hot okay i'll stay on this hot day i mean blind date once again it's a ticketing system but here it appears on the screen like mcdonald's so you just need to wait for your number to be called out and you pick it up so here's delena's meal delicious looks so good and also you get refillable miso here and drinks and here's my meal damn i'm eating again guys that's right it's a porn katsu not porn tempera tempura has different matter [Music] oh my god this is [Music] so this one's a cricket with tomato [Music] oh this is amazing you guys need to try this out that's so good that tomato one is really good it's not like tomato sauce it's like it's like bolognese sauce but without the meat just for tomorrow if that makes sense and then this one here i'll show you guys comes with the tartar sauce here steal some of that shrimp [Music] i think this is better than the ramen today i just love rice you know i would have never thought of like eating corn katsu and fragrance together with rice like i wouldn't imagine that combo ever but everything about this meal is amazing but i'm very happy with this meal and i'll eat it again and again and again and that's what we've been doing oh my name is so good as well it's not too salty and it's not plain it's good i feel like if you're not hungry and you eat this you'll become hungry and you just want to eat animal number one that's me which croquette should i try which one's better this one they're both really good but i like the tomato one it's really different have a bite guys ready three two one oh wow this is definitely gonna be like in one of my top meals i've had in japan for sure what really yeah i've never tasted porn costumes so good what does that batter and how it's fried is amazing and the porn is so soft and juicy you understand and it's so cheap that's what makes it even better that it's so cheap and so delicious i realized i don't really use um spoons at these places i couldn't find a spoon at all for my soup so people just say with chopsticks here wow i think this is going to be so amazing i'm like getting hungry just looking at myself do this it's even better i'm going to enjoy my food now i hope you guys are eating too and we will have dessert soon [Music] we are back guys with mr donut for dessert do you guys have your dessert too let's try it out i want to try this one first this is a custard donut with just sugar on the outside oh you like this one all right no it distracts me while i'm catching up with my hint that was delicious that one was really good i'm gonna try this one now so it's a chocolate doughnut looks like raspberry pieces on the outside and the inside it looks like chocolate mousse kind of like a raspberry compote like a jam and some chocolate sauce it reminds me of uh black forest that's why i decided to get this i love black rose i love anything with like chocolate and berries it's delicious oh that's actually pretty good and the camera is kind of like on an angle right now it looks so funny oh that's making me dizzy you need to stop eating or you're gonna get nightmares
