[Music] please subscribe and ring the bell to never miss an update hello everyone i am on my way to a charity resale and i found out from a friend last night that there is an estate sale in my area she sent a link from estatesales.net i was able to preview the photos which is definitely helpful and there are a few items of interest so i thought i would just stop by on the way and we'll see what we can find come along for treasures well this is a nice unexpected stop we had our charity resale plan today which we'll still make we'll just have a bit of a delay and i never start in the garage at an estate sale but this is the entrance today so we will just walk straight in probably to the kitchen area i see dishes and look at the americana like the patriotic look and that picture is really neat and lots of everyday dishes these look to be southern living at home it's a nice aqua color very practical and the canisters would go well in most any kitchen i like that aqua color again and it's fifty dollars for a set of four it's a bit high but if we make it to half price day that sure would be a deal and this whimsical creamer is neat with the kitty cat for eight dollars there'll be a conversation piece at a tea table i like the snack sets and the clear it goes with any tablecloth or teapot 25 dollars for a set of eight i like that this vase is interesting the terracotta in blue for twenty dollars and the hand painted gourd would be great for fall and thanksgiving and of course an estate sale was a perfect opportunity to add to your kitchen essentials or set up a new household you've heard from me before how i shop estate sales to set up my college kids in their apartments this is a nice terra cotta chip and dip for 40. i like this pot with a saucer and this bamboo mug looks to be made by an artisan it's signed that's something very unique i'm sure there's a story behind that and they seem to have a lot of southwest items this dishware i've never heard of it southwest treasure craft it's probably highly collectible for 150 and they've obviously done their research they know the brand they know the value and wall of crosses are very popular for an entryway here they are in the breakfast room and that would be great to add to your collection and these dishes look to be southern living at home i recognize these sometimes see these in antique shops or resales this baker would be great to mix in with white dishes it's definitely southern living salt shaker and i spilled some salt my grandmother always taught me throw it over your shoulder and i like to look at the smaller items that at first glance don't seem interesting because you never know what you'll find in this patriotic octagonal plate it looks like i missed that one more southwest designs and this luncheon set is interesting i've seen quite a few but never one from the 50s with this decor it's 25 for a 14 piece set which would be seven cups and plates and that looks like it would be interesting on a table i like the colors on it and the retro vibe of course the dining room is usually my first stop in an estate sale and these candle holders are exquisite ah they're definitely catching my eye today let's see how much they are probably priced as a pair they are one hundred dollars and they have the drips and the babesh this plate would be perfect for cookies or pastries it looks to be maybe a fostoria or a cambridge and the gravy ladle made by wallace my friend is looking at but i've convinced her that that's a little bit high and maybe we should wait in case we can come by on the last day of the sale and the cobalt tumblers are quite nice i like these high balls i am really looking for cobalt right now but more in the form of a rose bowl for my birthday party planning here's a nice silver tray i like to see what knickknacks they have this is a wedgwood jasperware covered dish for 25. it's a fair price but i'm probably looking more for the half price and here's the nice witch with just for wear vase for 15 and these are porcelain floral place card holders i bought some recently brand new in a box from ainsley at a garage sale so i don't need any more but that really is a good price and this silver plated dish with the porcelain insert would be great for jewelry or of course use it as a coaster that's the intention this picture is quite nice it looks to be eastern european with a notched rim and the starburst pattern for 22 dollars that's a steal it's beautiful crystal but unfortunately it has a large chip in it so if this were mine i would definitely use it for flowers but probably wouldn't serve with it and these silver plated pieces up on the table i get lots of requests for identification of these on my lady mary beth's table and t settings facebook group page this is for a buffet you see how the forks can stack here the spoons and the knives go in the slots and it's something that you find often in antique shops this crystal from the 1960s has beautiful etching on it nice sherbet dishes the sterling silver candle holders have a gudroon border which is really attractive i like that and they have some salt and pepper shakers i started collecting these when i was in my early 20s have quite a few pieces in my cabinets that butterfly would be an interesting table piece for adding to your centerpiece and creating a story and this oversized early american press glass cake stand is eye-catching for twenty dollars it is oversized it has lots of detail and even the stem on it is quite interesting and the base mimics the design of the kickstand i keep going back to these candle holders they're so beautiful but i just can't spend a hundred dollars today this red glass cape cod collection is 1876 from avon and it is an exquisite ruby glass it was made up until i believe 1993. it is quite nice they've got a vast collection i don't think i've seen this many pieces together before my friends at my take on home and garden have featured this in their episodes it's quite lovely they are priced individually which is a bit unusual i don't know if maybe someone just wants to out of their collection but i think they might be wise to sell it as a set these napkin rings are interesting these are pieces i haven't seen in the collection before i bet they've been accumulating these for years and the christmas mugs are nice that would be great to pair with just white dishes that way you add a festive look to your table without having to store christmas dishes and of course they have lots of those as well and this milk glass banana boat i really like of course you could put fruit in that whole fruit of course you could even put letters or put your mail in it the christmas pattern i've seen this before i believe it's made in japan and it's called happy holidays and i don't think i've seen that many pieces together before that's an opportunity to build a christmas pattern but again they priced it individually and this is the hidden gem today these are dimitas teacups and this looks very german i think i've seen the dish pattern that matches this schumann bavaria germany u.s zone which means it's during the time that the united states occupied a certain sector of germany post-war beautiful colors i definitely have to take this home today there's so many other patterns my friend is going to choose a couple of these demi toss cups as well and the price is right six and seven dollars lots of interesting back stamps this is made in japan and this beautiful set is made in occupy japan they're quite lovely i have a small collection that a friend started for me with the demi toss and i have plans for these but at least today i'll pick up one and it looks like elvis is here with his family but first let's take a look at this lamp stained glass and the price is right they call it a prairie lamp it's 39 looks kind of like a frank lloyd wright and here elvis is with his parents gladys and vernon and it's fifty dollars i looked it up on ebay and the photograph of course a copy of it is about twelve dollars so you're really probably paying for the frame more than just a picture and here they've got some nice artwork touches of the southwest and a hand woven basket and the curio cabinet you know is peaking my interest i love etched glassware this is the fosteria pattern i believe it's the navarre and it's misleading because of the mirrored backing it looks like there's a larger collection they had four or five of these and one had some chips the price is right and here's some sherbets it'd be great for dessert or sauce or champagne lots of american cut glass and some fasturian navarre plates oh these are beautiful that would be pretty to coordinate with any china pattern or simply to pull these out for dessert plates and that way you could pair it with any kind of a decorative cake stand linens and napkins are usually at most estate sales and they're often put in bins and baskets where you have to dig through it's definitely worth it you'll want to go through everything you can to make sure you have all the napkins in the set and these doilies are nice the cross stitch and these are great for covering up a silver tray especially if it has some blemishes on it or you could certainly put this underneath a lamp on a bedside table it's always great to have a few extra doilies on hand and this quilt looks to be a good deal forty dollars for an antique quilt that's really a good deal i see these for much more at other estate sales and i'm usually looking for napkins here's a table runner in the battenberg lace and i don't know if i really need this but that's quite nice it takes lots of ironing and here are the napkins that i found these are cocktail napkins that are perfect for tea time and i think i even have this already so i can add to my collection five dollars for four napkins what a deal would make a great gift too these are the madeira napkins they used to be sold by u.s department stores and inspired by portugal such soft cotton and hand embroidered handkerchiefs are also highly collectible i have some that i keep in a handkerchief face it makes a nice display and you can also use these for napkins for tea time as well and here we've got a real pretty embroidered cloth for six dollars i like the crochet edging this would be great for tea time table especially tea for two i like the colors nice shades of blue but it looks like it's had some wear on it and i would have to be oh so careful with washing it so i might pass on this one but you could also buy it and make something out of it the toy room they also called the chicken room because there seemed to be lots and just a smattering of different eras and toy collections they also had some vintage toys here and even a mink coat for a small child that's something i don't think i've seen before quite interesting maybe they used it for a doll and of course paddington bear and winnie the pooh are always loved madame alexander dolls are huge with a lot of the doll collectors and 15 is an excellent price they had quite a few of these i didn't see original boxes but they are madame alexander that's quite a deal on those with the vintage trunk and a brass bed here's another doll that they actually had featured with the linens i'm not a doll collector but i can tell you this is an excellent quality look at the clothing it's quite interesting and precious moments is another collection that you see often and i think that's probably a really good price three dollars for each figurine and if you know someone that collects them keep an eye out at estate sales because i do see this a lot you would think they had a store but i think it was just their private collection and you know you're in texas when the lady of the house has cowboy boots this is the size eight actually had a friend text me asking the size so i could let her know and these are tony llamas for a hundred dollars it's a very well-known company in texas this is a meet collar you could probably incorporate this into maybe an entry table almost like a table runner or just work with it and add some interest to your look jewelry armoires are always nice have a friend that's looking for one that's not quite her style and lots of costume jewelry and collectible shoes i wonder what she did with these and this lamp is interesting it's mid-century i like the height of it something you don't see anymore with the gold and the green it's quite striking and it's from the 1960s 25 is a good deal this chair i think was a bargain and didn't have a need for it thirty dollars and it's french and it's caned the silver plated powder boxes these might even be avon those are nice to put on a vanity i don't usually find great things in the bathroom at estate sales but it's worth a look because sometimes they have collections that they feature there things get moved around and there were a few hats as well that's nice and the pillbox mink is kind of a jackie kennedy look and who knew that sears had a millinery and that they carried furs was not aware of that some hand beaded purses these are not mary frances they're more just giftables and brand new with tags and the brahmin handbag i'd love a good crossbody and this aqua color really stands out that's great for shopping you can have both hands available to pick things up look at them i usually have a crossbody when i shop estate sales 90 is more than i want to spend though and the garage usually has christmas surprisingly but it's because the homeowners often store the christmas items there in boxes and bins and that's why estate seal companies usually just pull it out right where they found it lots of garden items and the lanterns would be nice for an event and again more christmas they sure had a collection lots of nativity sets and this is something i've seen before it's part of i think a village collection let's see it's department 56 the heritage village collection these planters and pots are nice this is an old ceramic company abingdon usa you could have fun with that put a plant inside and these succulents are artificial very popular to add that to a coffee table or any kind of look now it's time to check out and i am so happy with the napkins i can use for tea time i could even tie a ribbon around these put them in a nice box with tissue and gift them and the cake stand is my favorite find of the day along with this demi-toss cup from the u.s zone and my friend has selected a handkerchief to add to her collection and two demi-toss teacups i like the pink that's from england look at those fun colors hi there just an update it is saturday the last day of the sale and i am back they were supposed to open at nine o'clock it's just a few minutes until nine and i don't see very many cars and lines and activities so i hope that i'm here on the right day pop in with me and let's see what they still have left and what a surprise this vintage truck was not here on the first day it is a 1952 chevrolet and the owner who is the estate sale manager is asking 25 000 for the truck and the engine is cleaner than most kitchen floors i don't think i've ever seen a 1952 chevy truck up close and personal it was an experience and they have lovingly restored it let's take a closer look at it when i see more customers showing up the interior is the red vinyl and they've added seat belts of course they weren't original to the car and the truck bed is quite something so anyone in the market for a truck the dining room my favorite let's see my candle holders are still there i can't believe it that means they're fifty dollars today i love the drips and the babesh you can remove those and have a simpler look fifty dollars these are going home with me and no question it was worth getting up early for these and i didn't notice the offset pi servers when i was here yesterday and what a deal it looks like jasperware so for four dollars each made in england that could make a great gift or just be nice for my cake serving my friend was looking at these and i convinced her to wait this i thought was a pastry server and she did a lot of research on this roger silver plate and it's actually a victorian cake server and the casserole spoon is now five dollars and the gravy ladle she's so happy to have these today you do find a lot of engraved silver silver-plated platters that were given as awards and put a doily on that and use it and they still have the teacups i'm not sure that these are original to the saucers they don't quite look like they go and the place card holders are still here it's always fun to go the last day of the sale which in this case is day number two and to see what all they have left here's the wedgwood box it's now 12.50 and the bunnies are cute i guess those are just decorative for an easter table i don't see a mark on them and for seven dollars and fifty cents i'll take the right to a jasperware vase home and this they've obviously done their research they know what replacements limited is charging half price of 75 would be a bargain and i was really excited until i turned it over and noticed a big chip underneath so i'm gonna have to pass on this one and when i checked out i saw another lady with the same bowl and she put it back here's that wonderful avon ruby glass collection the cape cod and it looks like they haven't sold any pieces the red though is very versatile and here's the milk glass again so now this is 13 that would be a really good deal and this red set of glasses they're now three dollars each i didn't even really look at them yesterday red is one of the most versatile colors that goes with almost every season including christmas and these christmas dishes haven't sold the platter is 30. so it would now be 15. i just think that these are priced a bit high they might be better off just having one price for this set and it looks like no one else has shopped the tea cup since we bought a couple yesterday and i believe i will take this opportunity to add to my demi toss collection there's so many choices and those are alike i think that's the only one that has a pair this is hand painted isn't that beautiful china [Music] such a nice color this is very soothing i like the calm blue i'm definitely going to take this home and maybe a couple more i like the hand-painted florals and the curio cabinet let's see what's left oh boy looks like they still have some american cut glass and up top they have sold the ice beverages this is a nice dish so this would be 12 half of 12 it'd be six dollars today make a great gift i just can't buy it all no matter how good the price is but these fostering of our etched plates i think are going to go home with me five dollars a plate is still more than i wanted to spend but again i'm not paying shipping and they're 13 plates this for five dollars would be a great dish for jewelry or you could put some chocolates in it give it to a friend so many different uses or lemons for your iced tea when you have guests the compo reminds me of the pear point glass company my father has a beautiful oversized bowl that has this exquisite etching that's not like anything else i've seen i'm wondering if this could be pear point it is a yellow topaz color and this will be my project it's ten dollars today i will buy it research it and hopefully flip it on ebay for maybe a hundred dollars and if not it's something i could use seasonally and add some candies to it it's just gorgeous what a find and let's see if my brahman handbag is still here it's gone oh i'm a bit surprised because i thought 90 was high this oval carved coffee table with this settee is lovely for an entryway and the price is right and now it's gone already the last day of the sale things do fly out of there you have to really be on your toes and if you want something you have to grab it looks like elvis has left the building along with the lamp ah but he's been moved he's still there in his family portrait and that would be half price today the chicken and toy room i see the vintage toys are gone from the table here but they still have lots of other knickknacks i think they're going to have a hard time selling these small pieces and i guess no one had size 8 that was in the market for cowboy boots i'm surprised maybe they'll sell by the end of the day i'm glad i came back by on a saturday which is the last day of the sale i need to get home and make breakfast it's my daughter's 19th birthday and i have the table set i just need to make her waffles strawberries and cream bacon and eggs so i have my boxes here i am ready and i can pack it all up and head home i am so pleased to have these vintage glass candle holders i think they could be heisi glass i don't think they're cambridge and i love the versatility and this exquisite compound can't wait to find out more about this piece with my research and these are my finds i didn't get the swans those are another customers and here's my total of 1 15.50 and that includes the items i picked up from my friend i'm glad i stopped by this estate sale in my area on the way to a charity resale i got a beautiful schumann bavarian demi toss cup and salsa and it's actually from the u.s zone so that dates it and i got lots of tea time napkins and a beautiful press glass cake plate and aren't these caned twin beds beautiful the headboards i wish i had a need for these thanks again for joining lady marybeth elevate your every day with estate sale fines
