foreign person and usually don't love to do this kind of stuff but I just want to see how my life is through my eyes nothing else nothing more just what it actually is like turmeric ginger and like a Prebiotic who is Reuben Diaz I think just exactly being truth to to what I am once uh when I was at Benfica one of the the media guys he told me Reuben with you it's a easy job because you're very transparent with what you are outside and what how how you are also inside so I think that's definitely something that has has always helped me a lot foreign Mornings in Manchester with uh Dark Skies well there are less Dark Skies than what people say to be honest every once in a while the Sun comes out the problem is that I go in the building and then when I come out it's dark already I think it's just a matter of well-being with yourself you know whatever you are you need to get used to it and but I also believe that when you're happy at work you're happy in life so what's the sort of Reuben routine when I arrive yeah change breakfast after breakfast I'll probably do a little bit of work in the physio then I'll go to the gym after the gym we have like a group recovery session and depending on the weather we might go outside for a bit or not if it rains we'll stay inside and then yeah again with the physios and then ice bath yeah that's pretty much it sometimes it's important to change the routine not be to to tight on it but every successful being needs to have a certain kind of routine so yeah the first one in normally usually [Music] I met Reuben we both did Academy at Benfica he's one of my best friends now and as a as a person he's such a nice guy and he's someone that works for the team he's always trying to help his teammates and the pleasure to be able to train with him every day because it's good to have to have him in our side when you have a player that is so dedicated he's the first one to arrive we always make fun of him because he's always the first to get in it's probably the last to go home he's so focused on how well he is physically he's always so concerned a bit too much for me sometimes it's it's like 100 football this is my life football for me it's everything it's it's life it's happiness it's dealing with the with everything from being wonderful to being the worst thing in the world dealing with all kinds of emotions it's preparing my future it's preparing one day to have a family it's becoming a better man myself like many other professions as well but for me football is a big a big example of life because you have it all in football so this is this Portuguese special dish it's called a Roast Pot it's like Duck rice and this is a special recipe from my mom so we're trying to replicate it Ben brother's not here if you have a chef that helps you out with food no I actually like the kind of uh the little bit that makes it a little bit more normal to go to the supermarket and just cook my food and I like the independence of cooking my food so yeah [Music] let's go good good so does that mean you made it English it's good let's go if you're successful no matter what you do actually only one percent is motivation the other 99 is just who you are if you were born hungry or not if you were born ambitious or not and I think it all goes around that obviously family is very important to me it has always been a big support of my training hard as well but in the end I think it's all it's all up to what's deep inside you and I think those details are the ones that are going to make you reach something higher definitely you need to celebrate if you don't celebrate there's something missing already but yeah after you celebrate job done next one obviously these are just objects the memory is probably will be stronger the same way I will have these I will also have thousands and thousands I hope of shirts of other colleagues both of the collections I will one day hope it's it will definitely be something I will be very proud to do there the World Cup is the World Cup even if it's just because you're representing your country and in the end you you're speaking out loud for all of them when you go on the beach so it will definitely be a special moment it's the one competition as a footballer you you want to be there at least once uh in your life I'm going for my second and uh definitely trying to make it go what would a World Cup me into Portugal ah it's the the major competition you can win as a with the national team so and not just national team even as a blades probably the biggest the biggest you can achieve the feeling you must have after you've done it it must be something that all of us would like to to taste one day the word to that can better describe it is is proud proud to be there for me for my family and then for my country to represent my country to be among the best of my country in the world it's just the place the place to be [Music]
