A Day in the Life of Tree Workers

okay people didn't want more details how about this for details we'll call this a day-in-the-life missin Damien and Adam ahead of me because I need to help my wife with the van because she's got field trip at the school today all right we had to stop for some fuel in the ax 19 today I've got the GoPro on hand I said GoPro not sandwich in hand we gotta fill up okay there's a guy walking across the street with a six-pack right now that's nice interesting see you at the jobsite early - my three-year-old throwing up and that just yeah just hurts that hurts he's completely innocent he deserves no suffering so that sucks I had to leave him there we just showed up to the jobsite first things first we rolled in we've got a car in the way with a little trailer somebody's mother passed away so they came down from Roseburg to come in click some of her items turns out she was a hoarder so that doesn't help the cause looks like we'll be doing the oak and maple tree there and the tree two trees of heaven there with the bucket truck we've got all the high-tension lines the house as we walk out this way down the sidewalk probably one of the busiest intersections in town and I believe August plan pull up on the lawn with a plywood highway reach over and set things down somewhere in here or somewhere in there all while we've got all this going on and above us we also have high tension lines again something else to worry about with the crane should be a good day it's just a day it is not typical to see two days the same [Music] I alluded to a parking situation earlier that we might encounter because this is a property management company I'm working for so their preface you know they tell the neighbors you come and are you coming and stuff didn't work all this job was getting pretty annoying but it's not near as annoying now that I have my little buddy at home being you know that's just that's more important than all of this but about this when I bid this job I had to meet with this neighbor because I needed to sit in this empty part of this lot over here and crane from it it's really the best way to do the job and when I explained it to him he's kind of an old dude but he's not doesn't seem like a blue-collar old dude he's something else I don't know because when I told my plan he told me it was impossible and telling me it's impossible is like nails on chalkboard and it was hard for me to be diplomatic but I was and then it got worse for me because he's pulling up now he got worse for me because I was gonna show him hey look I just did this yesterday this is the best tool for the job and YouTube would give me no signal here so I just looked like I was full of it anyway he said it was impossible and then later he relented as long as I don't lift anything over the house and I was trying to explain to him dude your tree is over the house it starts out there it's over the house now so I'm like hey listen I won't lift it over the house I'll just lift it up away from the house and set it down in this lot so that's what we're gonna do and this guy's just showing up so we the property management company tries I'm talking fast cuz he's gonna walk up here property management company tried to to get us in on this job today and the dude was all ok but you can't start till noon so I have to wait till noon to do these removals in between two houses on one of the busy arteries of town anyway not to be complaining this whole deal with Joey is far worse than all that but there are some details there's a day in the life I talked to the guy he was pretty cool he was worried about a pomegranate tree and that little tree is right in my way details this is the little pomegranate tree that he was tripping about he's making me promise it'll be fine okay that's easy right where it's at no problem but I really need my truck way over here about seven eight feet over here I'd have to straddle that and it would be all jammed in there around the pumpkin and other stuff plus it did have the appearance of recklessness which is all it would take here for this guy so as it is I can't do the job the way I wanted to we're going to be maxed out and still pretty far from that oak tree which means small pieces or old-school rigging and it's got all this dead ivy I don't know I'm not enjoying this but yeah I'm not complaining right yeah I am it was all latest is it's really hard to to reach anything of decent size to over there so I asked the guy if if I could dig this up [Applause] get my whole truck way over [Music] that thing that will die for sure if you dig it up so I didn't I didn't tell him hey I'm an arborist like I know how to do I mean you to come on YouTube tell me I think we could handle transplanting that don't you that's not a like this little Asian lady at this his house you know these people are kind of strange and she was just hanging out like right under in the drop zone in the backyard just like reading a book I had to be like I thought it was odd like maybe she was doing it to I don't know I was suspicious because they're kind of suspicious and then I asked her to leave and she did and everything is great after that and now we're done welcome to Radiator Springs stop and steal one faster than fast McQueen Oh baby's waking up
