A Day in the Life of a Full-Time YouTuber in NYC

[Music] [Music] [Music] i'm foreign [Music] so about a month ago i graduated from college and i moved to new york i've been living here for about two weeks now even though i went to a good college and had job opportunities i decided to not take a job and instead do youtube full-time i guess i'm like a unemployed college grad not exactly youtube is my job and i spent the past few weeks living here in new york kind of figuring my life out and yeah i feel like i've got a good routine going and i want to share what a day in my life kind of looks like if you follow my channel pretty much every video i post is a day in the life because i just post vlogs but i wanted to give a little bit more of a comprehensive look into what my life is like i'm at the uh pierre this is a little island by the way but uh my gym is right there and i'm gonna go to the gym i usually work out in the morning around 9am and yeah today we're hitting legs [Music] today got me my plans be brave [Music] paranoid so after i work out i always get this protein shake but today they were out of protein powder so instead i got this protein bowl i don't know i think it's like a salad looks pretty good i almost always come here and kind of wind down eat breakfast there's this really nice view of new jersey here i'll show you and yeah literally some people bring their laptops and like do work here which is dope perks of having a gym that's on the pier i also take this time post workout to kind of sit back and think about what i have to do for the day since i technically work for myself i don't really have to like go into an office by a certain time which is great but also it means like i have to be responsible because if i didn't really plan on my day i would probably just end up doing nothing all day so yeah mornings are important for me literally for that reason i go through and write things out on my calendar so that i have a schedule to follow some of the things i need to do today um i actually have to upload a new youtube video i have to buy a lens uh got dinner with a friend and i should probably pack too because i'm going to vegas tomorrow for my sister's birthday yeah busy day ahead gonna finish my breakfast i'm almost done and head back to my place and shower all right i just showered i changed and i got this package i don't actually know what it is but it was outside my door [Music] oh juice and tequila ice cream more tequila anyways i am about to leave my apartment here in a bit i actually have to go to the camera store i'm gonna go to b h which is like new york city's biggest camera store it's pretty insane but i have to pick up this lens that i'm gonna use for a shoot that i have tomorrow i'm filming this video and i need this certain lens and i'm actually gonna use it today too for some stuff i have to shoot gotta go to the camera store okay my head's so messed up but i can't fault him no fear guys i set right up on these bands and i'm gonna use the white tears five years still sticking to the plans i made when i was a g moms i can't go live no normal life won't stop till i'm rich say where were you and now it's down back and the money coming to me so fast yo okay so i lied back at my place with sean and shawn's gonna help me film some stuff i just got this lens basically i'm taking this helicopter to the airport tomorrow i'm making a whole video about it but i wanted this lens so i could film on the helicopter actually i think we can use it today too for the shop we just go shoot let's do it all right i gotta get a few shots uh basically of me riding the boosted board through the streets and uh i'm gonna have this suitcase which is empty but yeah i'm gonna film the shots and then i think we need to get some shots uh in the subway that's pretty much it uh gonna do that now [Music] all right so i just edited and uploaded a new youtube video i post a new video like every other day so editing and posting it's a big part of my day honestly i'm actually trying to eventually post almost every day i'm not there yet but we're working on it anyways for uploads i usually go to a wework which is like this shared office space and they have really fast wifi so that's good for uploading they also have like free coffee if you water and it's just like a good place to do work so that's usually where i go and finish my edits and then upload my videos anyways i can't uh yet afford my own studio or like an office so for now i pay for wework which is like 2.99 a month it's actually not bad since i finished most of my work i'm actually gonna go get dinner with my friend michelle i actually haven't seen her in a second so i'm excited to see her and uh we're gonna get korean food i swear like all i eat in new york is korean food also i know no one really cares but i attached this speaker to my backpack because i used to ride around the city with air with airpods in and it's just like super dangerous because you can't hear anything or like cars honking at you so i've been mobbing around the city with this speaker instead and i love it it's really great i just realized that i haven't eaten all day other than that salad that i had for breakfast this is a problem i forget to eat a lot because i'm running around the city all day and i literally just forget to eat it's not until like i lift my head from under the water to take a breather and then i realize like wait a second i'm really [ __ ] hungry so yeah i really need this meal right now uh my friend michelle is coming i don't i don't know where she's at but she should be here hopefully it's a celebration baby [Music] muscles i am exactly where i started this morning right next to little island i live pretty close up here so i always come here and watch the sunset i love a city i love a city so pretty at night i always say this but the energy that i feel in the city is just on a different level like i can't even believe that i was here this morning i feel like a week has gone by like the past day felt like a week and that's every single day that i'm here in new york i feel like i get so much done here i feel like i do so much and that feeling is just insane that's why i love a city i know people talk a lot about like the hustle and bustle of new york but it's real it's real and it gives me so much energy i honestly can't imagine living anywhere else especially when i'm young i want that energy i don't want to be just taking it easy relaxing enjoying life i am enjoying life here but like it's while i'm working really hard and i think that's just like when i'm happiest is when i'm super productive working towards my goals and that's exactly what the city allows me to do i think i've done so much after having been here for just two weeks i can't imagine what a year later is gonna look like actually i can imagine but um i'll keep that to myself but no seriously like two weeks here feels like i've done so much i'm just so excited to live in the city and my dream was always to work for myself i finally get to do that in my favorite city and i'm so blessed that i get to do that so yeah that was um that was it that was my day that was the day of my life and i'm gonna go home and knock out subscribe join the family we're literally just getting started and i'll see you soon [Music] i currently cannot afford oh my god so
