- Ah, good morning. This is probably one of
the least flattering angles that has ever been seen of me on YouTube. So I hope you're enjoying this right now. It is 9:45 AM on a Friday and I am about to get out of bed. I swear, I am a night
person, not a morning person, and I own my own business. So I get to pick my
hours, which is awesome. And sometimes Adrian gets
up way earlier than me and sometimes he sleeps
in bed till I get up. And today he's snuggling me
and in bed till I get up. So that's nice. We've got Avie Cado, Mr. Avy here, and Gallop is anxiously
awaiting his breakfast. So I'm gonna get up and feed him. Welcome to the day in the life of a Blind Couple in Quarantine Vlog. We're happy to have you. (upbeat music) - [Narrator] This video is
sponsored by CVS pharmacy. Later on I'll be showing you and telling you all about their
new app feature, Spoken Rx. We got a happy Gallop
in the morning, right? Yes, You want your breakfast,
you want your breakfast. We've got empty bowl. We've got full bowl and
hungry patient, dog. (speaks in French) (Gallop crunching) All my frenchies are probably like "That embarrassing. You're mispronouncing it." But that's okay, I do my best. He seems to still understand
and eat his kibble. Okay. Sorry for my maskne. Don't we love that you guys? 2020, the year of maskne. Anyways, I'm just wearing a nice, a penguin onesie from Mutandis, love it. And yeah, so usually when Adrian
does get to sleep in a bit, his schedule is, relatively flexible. He kind of gets to pick. So when he gets to sleep
in with me, I love it. And we start the morning with
plenty of morning snuggles. So that's what we did today. And now our day begins. I am going to brush my teeth and wash my face and put on deodorant and do all the morning things
that I do in my bathroom. And then Adrian kind of
does that kind of stuff in his bathroom. We have separate bathrooms
because our apartment has two. So why not? And all the drawers are full in mine And also, as I explained in the video where I was prepping my
apartment for him to move in, he does often get up earlier than me and does go to bed later than me, and the bathroom I use is in the bedroom. Like it's attached to the bedroom. So if he was to use
this one to like shower and brush his teeth and
shave and do all that stuff, it would disturb my sleep. And he's just very kind and cares about me getting
a good night's sleep because I'm grumpy if I don't. So yeah, he's doing that in his, and I won't be doing it to here in mine. Look who it is, my two boys. - Good morning, good morning. Adrian takes Gallop for his
morning off-harness walks, because I like to give
Gallop time off harness to sniff things, right? - Yeah, it's his favorite thing to do. - [Molly] Yeah, and he likes to roll. - Yeah, that's his thing. He's got a few spots that he
can't go by without rolling. And so you know, it's pretty
much planned into the walk. - [Molly] So Gallop and
Adrian go on the morning walk, and then I take him on
his on-harness walks, because obviously right
now we're in quarantine. So Gallop isn't really
getting a lot of like real work experience. So I take them for on-harness walks, and then Adrian does his off-harness walks so he still gets to be a normal puppy. Like right now he's going
for his morning poop. Very exciting. Ooh, morning poop. Okay. - See you later. - [Molly] Bye. - [Adrian] Here it is guys,
Gallop's favorite lawn. Hi baby. Let's see if today's a
day, like every other day and he takes a little slow roll on it. There we go. Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy? - Okay, so, while they are out, I am going to get dressed and whatnot. Hey Siri, what's the weather today? - [Siri] It's currently
partly cloudy and 23 degrees. Expect clear sky starting
in the afternoon. Today's high will be 27
degrees, and the low will be 19. - Okay. 27, so not like super hot for the Americans, low of 66 high of 81. So let's go to my closet. You guys know Adrian and I are annoying, and we really like to match so I know what he's
gonna be wearing today. So I wanna try to match that aesthetic, wearing like black, white, and gray. So I'm going to pick something
and I'll see in a second. God, the lighting in here is
probably really unflattering. Sorry about that. Okay, so I'm trying to make
sure you guys can see me. So I'm trying to like come
close and then walk away. I don't know if this is frigging working. Okay, by the way, shop my merchant, fanjoy.com/mollyburke. So okay, my overcoat looks
boring from the front. I'm just wearing this like white T-shirt, flowy from Aritzia. These leggings that have a mesh panel down the side from Aerie. I'm wearing slippers. My toes are gross. They
really need to get done. But I'm wearing slippers
because I always stub my toes. And then I tryin' to show
you the back of the top 'cause that's where it's interesting. I don't know if you guys didn't see this, but the back of the
top is like split open. So it's like entirely open in the back. And then I have a black
lace bralette on from Aerie. And that is my kind of plain boring, low-key quarantine outfit for the day. We have an unmade bed,
and we have a made bed. Yay. I handle the bedroom and bathrooms, and Adrian does the cooking
and the kitchen cleanup. So this is my made bed for the day. And when he gets back from his walk, he's going to help make me breakfast. He's the best. Okay, I've decided that I
can come up with a black and white outfit that's cuter than this that'll still match. So I will be back in a
second, in a new outfit. Okay, outfit change. I'm now in this oversized T-shirt dress from Princess Polly that you might've seen in the review that I did. Underneath, I have these Nike shorts that I got at Revolve, specifically just to wear
under things like this. And then I still have my same slippers on. And that's it. Now I'm really comfy. I was getting hot in the other outfit too, but this is super comfortable. Sometimes I'm smart, and I get dressed after
I've done my makeup. Sometimes I'm not smart, and I get dressed and then I get loose powder all over me, and I have to change. And sometimes I managed to not get the loose powder all over me. So given this is mostly black, it'll be interesting
to see how today goes. Gallop, did you have
a big walk with daddy? Yay! He did. It was a good walk. We were into a little girl and bébé, who's obsessed with him. - Oh, I know that little girl. - She could not let him go. - Yeah, she's obsessed with him. - She wanted to pretend like she'd never seen
him before in her life. - No, no, she loves him. Okay, so Adrian has set
up all of this stuff to make a smoothie. - Yeah, and so we're
doing a new recipe today, which we found on trusty Google. And so I can give you guys a little sample of how I look at a recipe like this. So some websites here, you can just sort of pinch to zoom in. This doesn't let you do that. So I'm go just use three fingers two taps, and to use causability zoom on iOS. And so okay, I'm gonna start
reading the ingredients now. So I'm quite zoomed in, and you'll see, I get
quite close to the phone. And I zoom in a lot. How do I do cups, right? So, you know, one gripe I have with these, is these measurements
is that lots of times they're really hard to read. Like with the half a cup. It should be a giant one
half and the bottom right? Like why not? Instead, it's just like
tiny little writing here. At least this one is a
little bit of contrast. But basically I just memorize, that this is one half of the cup. And so I just remember
that's what that size means. That's how it feels. So I guess I need to
rinse my hands (laughs) since I can't zoom in when my
hands are all full of fruit. So hands are some of the hazards - [Molly] It's just such a pain. I hate when my hands are wet. 'Cause I've washed my hands. And then I try to use my phone. A voiceover won't talk. - Exactly. And especially cause the
zoom gesture is three fingers two taps right? It's like really got to be
a good input to meet it. - [Molly] That's what happens sometimes when I go to do voiceover only like two fingers
of three will pick up if one finger is like a
little wet or something and then it's doing a
whole different thing than what I want. - So again, I just remembered
this is the quarter cup guys. Like there's no magic here. Like it's funny. 'Cause the whole cup we
have in Gallup's food. And so I just know, okay, the
next one down is the half cup and the next quarter cup, let me yes, quarter cup. 'Cause he saw, I got like super close. I didn't zoom in. And I couldn't actually
make out the numbers as you sort of like
vaguely can see the shape of a one over the four. And I know that like by process of elimination,
that's gotta be one fourth. So some- - [Molly] A lot of blindness
is a good guessing game. - Absolutely. Exactly. - [Molly] You get really
good at decoding life. - Totally. - [Molly] Also, I'm sorry if
everything is out of frame for the whole video today. (both laughing) - [Molly] This is what happens when Molly tries to film herself. That's why I hire other
people to film me easily. I also know a lot of people
will be curious about your O&M 'cause you went out with Gallop without a guide dog or a cane. - Yeah guys. So, you know, my vision is such that discerning detail is really difficult. I can't read standard text. If you guys have seen me get super close. Like for instance, you know Yeah. I could get super close and guessed that this was a quarter cup, but that was the strain
that I have to put on myself to even make that guess,
is way too much for me to even read like a paragraph, like straight up you in a sentence. But when it comes to like
larger shapes and colors and even, you know, just gauging distance even though I don't have depth perception I quite comfortable. Like for instance, like from where I am I can see a Molly shape. So I'm walking in the street. It's like the kind of
things you need to be able to look for are just like trees and you know, I can follow
the sidewalk really well. I can walk in a straight line pretty well. And so as basis to cross the street, you know I use like parallel traffic or sometimes if the contrast is good, I can see there's like a speck of green, you know, like a green light across. - [Molly] Like at nights, maybe - Yeah. And even just like if it's shady or if it's like just a
more moderate intersection with brighter lights, but if I'm in like a more rundown place where lights aren't as good, or if it's a really big streets,
so there's lights far away I'll pull out my phone
and use the zoom feature which I'm sure we'll show
you guys in a little bit. And that's how we got to
zoom across the way on that. I did a video, not too long ago, "Five facts you didn't
know about blindness." And one of the facts that
I shared is that only 2% of blind people use a white
cane and 5% use a guide dog. The other 93% of blind people
use no form of mobility aid. So he is not as uncommon in the blind community as you might think. And so okay, so these guys are especially
tricky, these spoons because there's no contrast
whatsoever actually like it's really like just etched in there the same color of the plastic. So, you know again, if I get
into the perfect light angle I can sort of nearly see it's just like, it's not worth it. - [Molly] And you can see you and I are just the same man. - I can just save those as crow test. So I got lucky right? So
this is one tablespoon. So as you guys saw there, I'll give you a quick little
example of what I just did. There's an awesome feature on the iPhone. It's just digital magnification
using these suite cameras that these phones have now. And you know, this
feature used to cost you like you would pay five,
10,000 tons of money for a dedicated device
called a digital magnifier that would do this. Take the whole point of the
device was to zoom in on things from a distance and far away But camera phones have gotten so good. The app place they just built a little app to take advantage of the cameras. And so now you can see, I
can really go upside down. I can like really get in there and like see it with perfect clarity. And this works for both
things that are close up. So they one tablespoon five milliliters, which was a point for me (indistinct). So this looks like for things that are both like really
close and really far away. So this is what I would
use to cross the street. If I can't see the light. And if you guys are wondering, no, I cannot read the numbers on my watch. Surely there for decoration. I don't even set it anymore. - [Molly] It's a style
choice, so you see guys? - (giggles) - [Molly] The smoothie is here. - Hopefully it's good guys. It looks pretty tasty
honestly, smelled really good when we bundled it up do the honors (indistinct) - Is it a nice little bumblebee cup. I'm gonna try it. I probably have makeup on my face cause Adrian hasn't fixed
my makeup yet, but... - Yeah, not bad. - It's really good. - All right. And guys that I made myself,
I'm a bit of a health freak, so I'm having some Peak yogurt but what I love to do is like I just put a scoop of
some nut butter in there and that way, like each bite
I got, just suck on that and you know, makes it a good. like a little ride. I'll show you guys yesterday when Adrian was grocery shopping he found these pre-bagged smoothie. - You guys can see it right there. I can't, I'm too blind
for this Campo Verde double editor, something like that. Like, you know, it's trying to be Spanish. - [Molly] (cackles) It's
trying to be Spanish but anyways, they're like,
pre-made smoothies essentially. So they like pre-measure everything out. So, and here's the fruits and veggies. And then this is the acai. So you just add this to the blender this to the blender, both of
which come already in here. And they have a bunch
of different flavors, but we just got the acai
he wanted to try first. And then you just add
a bit of water or milk and two ice cubes. So yeah, I'm really excited to try this I feel like it's definitely a good option especially for blind people. Like I was saying to Adrian if
he wasn't making my smoothie, this is how I would do it 'cause this is definitely much
quicker and easier for me. While Adrian was getting
the smoothie ready. I sat and did my makeup. So this is my vanity set up currently. So I know where everything is. So over here I have all my
setting powders, blushes and I have like organized them. So I know what color is where, highlights, bronzers, shimmer shadows, Mack shadows, bite beauty
lips, Tarte lip glosses. Some of my palettes. This is like mascara eyelash
curler and my black eyeliners. And then I have my Brown eyeliner my other eyeliners in here. Other miscellaneous lip products. I have setting sprays, makeup sponges. And then here I have like all my Mac lapiz foundations, concealers, primers. So this is my makeup set up. So I've just memorize where everything is. And then I do my makeup. same way as I did many
years ago in the video that I showed you guys this one right here,
find our makeup tutorial. Yeah, so you can check out
that video, if you haven't yet because it's old, but it's still
exactly how I do my makeup. Okay. So hopefully Adrian is in frame. You never know with me behind the camera. So Adrian is going to shave his face cause we like baby faces and just kind of show you how he does it. Yeah, you guys. So speaking of baby faces,
my strategy actually for a few years has been
to keep it to stable length because one thing you'll find
is it can be quite tricky here to get the hairs under the chin, especially when you
can't see it very well. It's notoriously tricky
for guys to those hairs. And when you keep some stable, it doesn't really matter right? It's like it's not as contrasting compared to when you
go like a closer shave. So I would usually use this product called the ice double by Conair, really, really good. This one conked out of me. So I'm not sure if I can really give it like a five star review anymore, but it's really comfortable. And for someone who interested
in visually impaired and struggles with some
of those small details just keeping it stable length
with something like this, I think can really be a great solution. But now I'm back to where I started, which is one of these guys going
to try and try blade heads. This one I just got from like
our local, like CVS, I think. And you know, I have
used blades in the past just like razor blades, but just like technology's
come a long way. These can be a little pricey. I think it's worth it. You know, I haven't had any major, well I do I did have one cut, but that's a horrible thing. But you know, it's just tricky. It's just as your pain. So these are really good. But obviously right now, I have a bit too much length
for this to be comfortable. This will just like yank it. So I'm gonna start with
this other hair groomer. And so yeah, I'm just
gonna get the base level. And once I get that down,
then I use this to finish. And then of course, you
know, can't forget nose hair. So I got what you see guys - [Molly] And you just
do everything by feel 'cause you can't see in a mirror. - Yeah exactly. It's like,
you know, I will look but what I'm really getting
is minimal, you know? And like I know they have
magnified mirrors and stuff, but the thing guys is like, it's hard to get the angles
sometimes with those right? It's like, you sometimes see
people at the barber shop, they'll hold the mirror behind the mirror and then you look it right. It's like I had seen the world
through a very small hole. So like, it can be tricky. Yeah. Your thing you, of course, I put some paper towel
down tonight the same. 'Cause I'm sure we all do one thing too guys, is since
I'm doing this all by feel, I have built the bad habit
of taking a bunch of strokes. Just kind of like, you should have like
trying to color something without really seeing it. You're just going to
scribble as much as you can. But if you do that, it
really irritates your skin. And so one thing I've been
trying to train myself to do over the years, is to just take as few
deliberate strokes as I can. (gentle guitar music) - While Adrian shaves, I'm going to grab and
drink from our drink fridge is my matcha in here? I'm feeling around from my matcha. We got, I don't know
what you guys can see. We are LaCroix addicts. And last night Adrian
went grocery shopping and Cran Raz is our fav. And he doesn't read the packaging 'cause it's it just like he'd
have to get his phone out and zoom in, so we saw the color and was like, Oh, this is Cran Raz. Turns out it was watermelon (cackles). So now we have watermelon LaCroix. Which is still fine. It's not quite as good as Cran Raz. Here my matcha is up top inside. Sometimes we keep them in the
drinks fridge sometimes not, this is my go-to free caffeine. I don't know the labels but it's a MatchaBar. And I like matcha lemonade or the matcha with ginger and apple. So I'm gonna have one of these don't know which flavor I grabbed, I'm happy with either one. And then my mom is going to come over and film Adrian fixing my makeup so that you guys can like
properly see how it's done. Kits, you could get down. See lavender got down. Can
you get down? Thank you. Okay. So mama B is here
now behind the camera. So this is probably the first and only part of this whole video. That's like in frame,
since I'm filming the rest and I'm doing my best. Okay. So this is how
Adrian fixes my makeup. I have a Q-tip here. - So Molly normally messes up in like really predictable ways. And so usually what I
do now is I just kind of so normally I looked right
here inside of her nose, on her left side, on her right side. - This is always the one
that I do the worst today. - Yeah, and today
honestly, it looks pretty pretty you bang on it
a little bit in there. So what I'll do guys is like I'll start just like muscle memory. I'll go at this. And then I check afterwards with my phone. So once I've done Molly's
makeup just for muscle memory, then I'll zoom in with my phone. And then I'll double check. I see a little bit of color
here on her right eye. But you often zoom in this close. You kinda have to assume that like it's not a huge, huge deal,
but I probably will go over. And we touch that right eye a little bit? - [Mama B] Are you guys watching? - Are the kids watching? Hanging up. - [Mama B] They love each other She's like, they are so big. - [Molly] He's flagging his tail now. - [Mama B] It was like (cackles) - So there you have it, makeup complete. - [Mama B] Looking good, great job. - Thank you. - And then Gallop gets a little scratch. - All right, now usually because I work full time with my mama. I'm gonna head over to my mama's apartment which is in the same apartment building. And I take my laptop over to
her and we go do some work. And Adrian gets some of his
work done in the office. Gallop is living his best life, totally chilling. So I'm at my mom's place now. And like I said, Adrian
does his work in the office. I do my work here at my mom's apartment. For those wondering Lavender
does live in my mom's apartment but she's like, she's a traveling cat. She goes back and forth between my apartment
and my mom's apartment. But she spends nights here with my mom. So that's, what's up with that. That's why you didn't see us
like feed Lavender this morning or anything like that because
she's here in the mornings. So yeah, I just get my work done. And right now we're doing
some work for CVS pharmacy because that is the
sponsor of today's video. So thank you to CVS pharmacy
for sponsoring this video. Boom. Look at that. We're on a tripod. That's how you know we
are at Mama B's place. - [Mama B] (cackles) - We got the site here now. I'm kidding. Adrian can put it on a tripod too, but that's not today's video. We're doing vlog style today. as you can see in this video. Well, at least I hope you're seeing in this video, like my
life as a blind person our life as a blind
couple is pretty normal. We do normal day to day things. We feed the dog we walk the dog, we make
breakfast, I do makeup. He shaves his face. We brush our teeth. We live the same life that
most able body people do. But that said there are certain things that can be more challenging or we have to do it in a
slightly different way. And that's really why I
wanted to do this video today is to show you hey, our life
can be really, really normal. And we make a few tweaks
to allow ourselves to do these everyday normal tasks. And one of the tasks that
I've always needed help with from a sighted person is
reading prescription bottles. You know, Adrian can zoom in on his phone and see things like that, but I don't have enough vision to do that. So for me, I would need somebody to be able to read the dosage
to me, read the instructions. All of those things to me and prescriptions can be quite an intimate or private personal thing that you don't just want
to share with anybody over, you know, an app like be my eyes or IRA. There's some things you
just want to have private but I don't always have
somebody like Adrian there to zoom in and read it or somebody like my mom
to be able to look at it and read it to me. So now the CVS pharmacy has teamed up with the American council for the Blind and created our solution. This is a new feature in the CVS pharmacy app called spoken Rx where they have special stickers
on the prescription bottles that the CVS app spoken
Rx can read to you. So it reads all the information that somebody like me dealing
with vision loss would need or just anybody who can't
read that small font that can be on prescription bottles. Some pharmacies are
already equipped to do this but all pharmacies
nationally will be equipped by the end of 2021 with this feature CVS pharmacy is the first large pharmacy to create anything like this as an in app prescription
reader, so it's pretty cool. And I want to show you
right now, how it's done. I'm currently in the CVS pharmacy app. I went to pharmacy tools and here you'll find a spoken Rx, click on that. And it's super simple. I don't have a prescription
that I can show you right now but I would just take
the prescription bottle hold it under my camera
on the back of my phone and boom all the information
I need would show up here To be clear, once the sticker
on the bottle is scanned the patient's name, the medication name the dosage, and the directions
will all be read aloud. So as you see, it's super
simple, super easy to use. I'm really excited about this. And down in the description box below will be linked some more
information about it. I've filmed a tic talk and done all of our work over at grandma's and we've come back for lunch. Gallop, we're having tacos Yeah. We're making ground Turkey
tacos today, Adrian style. And so, yeah first thing I'm gonna do here is just turn on the heat. This is an electric stove. And so I'm coming from gas
stoves in my last apartment. So I've been like learning the ropes and basically like the way that I do it it's like, can I just memorize how far along each of these I need to go. So like, you know, I
kinda know starts at high and then I want to get it through on five. So have maybe a kind of get in
there a little bit, but cool. So, you know I've just had memorized that the one on the far right
corresponds to this guy. And so that's it. I'm gonna throw some of these
guys into the ground Turkey, so onions and diced tomatoes and stuff going a little off recipe this time. This is like, this was my go to when I was still a bachelor but you know, my last name's Rodriguez. So you guys can trust that these tacos will
come out at least okay. - [Molly] What do you
think Gallop, do you trust? Do you trust? It's like if you're
putting enough cheese on I trust it will be good. (gentle guitar music continues) - Guys, the meat is ready. And so now we're just going
to make some mini tacos or mini bredddos like I was just saying. - [Molly] We have lots
of toppings, so yummy. - Yeah. All right, so toppings we have
guys, we have some cheese. - [Molly] We've got farmers cut cheese. For those who know, it's good guys. - [Molly] Guys, it's so good. I highly recommend. - We've got some romaine over here we've chucked up romaine - [Molly] Crunchy. - Right, Got some nice people to go here and get some nice chunky guac here. - [Molly] Chunky guac is my favorite. Comment below, if you're a chunky or smooth guac fan, I'm
all about the chunks. - All right guys. And we've got some nice
cream substitute here. Just do a peak yogurt, you know and- - [Molly] I like using
instead of sour cream. - Put there nicely, so exciting. - [Molly] I'm so nappy.
I'm like fold, fold, done. - I gotta pinch the sides pinch the sides, and then
roll that sucker over. Alright, here you go babe. - [Molly] Thank you. - You are welcome.
- Yummy. - [Adrian] How is it? - It's so good. I was just saying I feel like my taste buds
are like, can I have several? - [Adrian] Thank you so much. - It's so yummy. - [Adrian] Enjoy. We'll
catch you guys later. - Gallop, Gallop look over here. So after lunch, Adrian
and I got some work done. I'm gonna fall and crouch
down here with Gallup. And now I'm gonna take Gallup
for an on-harness walk. It is a crazy gray gloomy day out in LA. See I'm gonna take him for a walk and then come home for dinner time. Gallops dinner time, not my dinner time. - And tea babe?
- Huh? - [Adrian] And we gonna make some tea. - (sighs) Yeah, I'm gonna make tea. Okay. We'll be back. Gallop. (dog barking) - [Molly] Look at this guy. What a great guide dog. I always try to take him out on at least one guided walk a day. Since we've been in quarantine
for about six months now. Being on a peer reiner it's
good to keep him working hard. Of course he needs to get out of pee. So here we are. Alright. We'll let him pee in peace. - Happy it's dinner time. (speaking French) Gallop and I are back from our walk. He has eaten his dinner. Everybody's feeling good. I'm gonna make tea soon. Adrian is just loading the dishwasher. By the way I was going to
show you this afternoon when Adrian and I were doing work like some of how he does what he does 'cause I know you guys are super curious as to how a blind person can code and design and all of that stuff. But I feel like that should
just be its own video because it really is so interesting. And he's so talented. And I want him to really like delve in and show you guys the nitty-gritty stuff. So I think in the future,
you guys can look forward to seeing that as a whole video, but don't worry, we see your interest. And that will happen. That will come. He's building a new website right now. So I think we'll use that as like he'll start, I'm screen recording
some of the coding process and show you like the design and then we'll kind of do a
video, but when it's done. How do you feel about caffeine
at this time of night Adrian? - You mean the tea?
- Yeah - [Adrian] I will do it. Okay, 'cause it's Friday night. So I feel like if we can't
get to sleep it's okay. - [Adrian] Yeah I'm here for it. - 'Cause I really want this
tea called vanilla orchid. It's an oolong tea and I've just been craving it for two days but it's a oolong, so it does
have caffeine, but yummy. Okay. It's tea time. I've gotten an Adrian
really into loose-leaf teas. Haven't I? - [Adrian] Yeah (indistinct) - [Molly] That's the stuff. So I have my snag appliance here. I'm just going to place it under, I'm trying to do this with one hand. It's usually I would hold it right up under this top like this (water burbling) with water flowing. I got used to. I'll just hold it up but I'm trying to film. Gosh, I didn't realized
how much easier it is having somebody help me film. That's enough water. Boom. On here she does feel around, there. And when that's boiling,
I shall go over here to the tea and this I
know is the tea I want because I pulled it out
yesterday to make it and never ended up making it. I made a different one. So I put it back in and
it's right at the front. So boom. I know that's the one I want. And here I have my perfect teaspoon. And then I have my teabag filters and all my other teas,
so many teas back there. And then I used to have all of my tea containers blair labeled. I didn't just have these baggies. I had all the hard containers
and they were blair labeled and I would just go get them refilled. But with moving to the U S from Canada and being on the road all the time lately I haven't been able to keep up with that. And I've lost my blair label
maker, I'm really upset. So I cannot see what this says. So I'm gonna have Adrian just reads me. How long has steep it for I'll set alarm and how many leaves I need. And then I will make both of us tea. Boom. Look at that. Look at that tee he's wearing a nice long sleeve too. What kind of yellowy-orange
hue save the bees. Molly Burke March, either
currently out, just released or about to be released,
so check it out now. Anyways, my Adrian. - She got a bee on the back. - [Molly] Oh yeah. Wait where is it, let me feel it. Okay. It's right there. Boom. I hope you guys can see it. I hate doing this on my own. I really hope this video is
working out and is interesting. Hopefully, hopefully. Okay. He's gonna zoom in on his phone. Yep. So for this one, we want
one to two perfect spoons. - [Molly] Wait, let me show you zooming in where's your phone?
- Here, here we go. - [Molly] So we want - [Adrian] One to two perfect spoons. And then we're going to let us steep for four to five minutes. - [Molly] Perfect. So here, I know I've pulled
out two mugs, my mermaid tail and this one, and this is
my liquid level indicator. If you've been around my channel, you've seen this many of times. It's how I pour hot water for cold water. I just hook my finger but for hot water, I use
my liquid level indicator. - [Adrian] I have never seen that before. - [Molly] What? - [Adrian] Yeah. - [Molly] It makes that sound when you hit the liquid.
- Oh, it smells so good. - [Molly] Oh, it's so good. That's why I've been craving it. I know it's something and I've only pulled out one teabag to do because the flavor is so powerful and I don't like to
waste leaves or this bag. So I'm just going to steep Adrian's first. And then I'll steep mine. - [Adrian] 'Cause one time
Molly caught me eating it from the bag. - [Molly] Yes, he literally
was eating tealeaves. I was like, babe - [Adrian] Well, here's the thing babe. It's that like it was a mango one and the back of the bag said it was just like matcha
coded mango pieces. And I was like, matcha
coded mango pieces, you say? So I reached in and I grabbed and it's totally what it was. It's totally really good dried fruit. - Boom. So you get the perfect spoon. I just don't get it. I'm gonna do, said one to two. So I'm gonna do like a
little more than one, but not quite two. (spoon banging) And then (sighs) now we get to the interesting part. This is the part that always scares me. I get stressed 'cause I burned myself. - [Adrian] Me too guys. I once put this in my
hydro flask straw lid, so like the heat didn't hit me too. I was like in the back, it went through. - So I always take my hand away because too many times I've like thought I was lined up perfectly
and then spilled on my hand. So now I'd rather spill on the counter and miss the cup, than spill
on my hand and miss the cup. - [Adrian] There you go.
You got it much better. (alarm ringing) - Boom. - [Adrian] Wow. - Hey Siri set alarm for four minutes. We are all cozied up on the
couch, drinking our tea. One thing that I thought it
was maybe worth mentioning about us as a couple, that's
a little bit different. Like it's a Friday night and I feel like a lot
of people would order in and watch a movie or binge watch TV. And we're definitely ordering in tonight, but we never
watch TV or movies. - No, I mean, we watched
the first three episodes out of some episodes of "Friends." - We watched a quarter, one
third of "Devil wears Prada." We watched like one third
of mean "Mean Girls." We watched we've gone
through one full thing. - Oh, the "Mad Men." "Mad Men" the Steve
Madden story on Netflix. But that's it. We like, I feel like we
just spend our time talking and cuddling and walking Gallop. and just like having fun
instead of watching things because truly neither of
us get as much satisfaction out of it as like a sighted person would. - You guys probably already know that Molly doesn't have a TV,
you know, in an apartment. And it's like if I had, like if I were to furnish
a space for myself, I also wouldn't buy a TV. And so I feel like a lot of times I was just appeasing people by
either pretending to watch TV or becoming really being
really uncomfortable and scooting my chair right next to it. You know obviously sometimes there, I think that you want to stick,
I love watching basketball but most of the time I feel
like I'm just like bit distant. - Yeah. I feel like half the time I'm watching stuff with other people and I'm like, well,
I'm missing everything. I don't know what's happening. And then I'm the person
being like, what's happening? What's happening? Unless it has audio
description, then I'm good. But yeah, we just don't
really watch stuff. So, I felt like that was worth mentioning. Now we're going to go on Postmates and figure out what we
want to order for dinner. We've ordered on Postmates
and it should arrive in less than an hour,
latest arrival by 8.30. Yay. And I wanted to show you,
so what we do when we order on Postmates is I do my part on voiceover. So I put what I want into the cart. And then I hand my phone to him
and he uses zoom to get his. So we've made it so
that we can flip easily and quickly between voiceover and zoom. So, it zooms in and out. And then, so it's like really easy for us to go between zoom and voiceover. The command that currently is being used for zoom is what I used
to use for voiceover. So I've just set my phone so that I can easily flip between both. So if Adrian ever needs to grab my phone and do something or help
me, he can easily do that. Popeyes is here and I've
never had it before. So I want to share this
experience with you. I got the spicy chicken sandwich 'cause I love spicy chicken sandwiches. I got mashed potatoes cause I'm Irish and I love mashed potatoes. We've got cold slop. I had to get this, even though it wouldn't
have been the drink, I would have chosen because it's a trademarked,
their sweet tea is trademarked. So I was like well obviously
have been trying this place for the first time, I need
to try to trademarked drink. I mean, tastes like ice tea, you know. - That chicken's really good. Okay. Popeye's I see you. I see, well, I don't 'cause I'm blind. That's good chicken. Okay. Now we've got strawberry Fanta cause I've never tried that either. - [Adrian] Guys, I hear that in Canada, they have pineapple Fanta. It's truly exotic to me. - I don't know if it's in Canada. I didn't try it in Canada. I think I tried it in Africa. - [Adrian] Oh, well there you go. I'll have to go far in life. - Oh that slainte. - [Adrian] Right? - That's really good. But this chicken now, I get it, but it's not spicy. So I feel like maybe they
sent me the wrong one. 'Cause it's not spicy like
even in the slightest, it's still delicious though, thumbs up. I stand corrected, update. It is the spicy chicken. Right? When you get into that center bit, I tell you it hits you. It hits hard. Take a little breather, little
break, but we're all good. Also don't judge us. Okay. We're having an
unhealthy Friday night. We don't need judgment. We're treating ourselves. I feel like usually we're healthy. - [Adrian] Yeah. Oh yeah. We have a good balance, you know. - I think it's totally fun.
- Holding it up, you know. - Okay, the lighting's probably awful 'cause it's 11:00 PM now. Thanks babe. I have my mask on, do
you have yours on yet? - Yes. - Our mask top. Gallop, it's hard to stop and we're going for our
last vlog of the day, the evening walk. And usually unless I'm exhausted we usually try to do this walk together. So all three of us go. And other than that, we've just
been like listening to music and talking exactly what we always do. I was going to shower tonight. We wash our hair every three days we are on the every three-day wash cycle. And tonight is hair wash
night, but I'm too lazy. So that's going to come tomorrow. Tomorrow is shower, wash the hair. Also we both had like really
solid, healthy morning and night routines for like meditation and exercise and all of those things. And I feel like any couple
who moves in together knows all of that just goes to hell
when you move in together. 'Cause you have to fully adapt to like the other person
being in your life right? - Yeah. - You're just like, oh
but I could talk to them. But I could go hang out with them. - It's like having, you
know like a huge diversion that you live with now. Yeah. It's like, you have your best friend there all the time. So we've lived together
for almost two months now. And we're finally at that
place where you believe- - Six weeks. by the time this goes
up two months. (cackles) - Oh babe, yeah. - And so time flies, but yeah. So I feel like we're like,
okay, we're finally ready to get back into our
individual routines now. And I get back on the health grind. Since I feel like since we moved in, it's been like, oh let's
binge on unhealthy food and not like, just like not every day. - There's just been so many things to introduce each other too. - Yeah, like I had never tried Popeyes. He was like, what do you
mean you've tried that? And like just things like that. So we've just been
getting to know each other and our routines and how we work together. Whereas now I feel like we're both ready to get full on the grind of
like our morning routines our night routines Healthy eating again. 'Cause we're both really
into healthy eating. So all that to say if once
we're not in quarantine anymore. And once we're both
fully into our routines as individuals that are also
a couple and live together if you guys want to see
another day in the life of a blind couple, let us know. Comment below, give the video
thumbs up all the things, because we'd definitely be down to do another one out of quarantine. So you can see how we interact like out and about in society. And then also just like once
we both have our full routines down separately, I think
that would be interesting. Yeah, definitely. - For now, we go over Gallop, Okay, goodbye. (sighs) I am in bed. We just watched some Cody Ko on YouTube. I think he's so funny and
hung out for the evening. Gallup had a great final walk and I know back in my onesie in my bed with my Avie Cado, Avie. don't forget to shop Avie match at fanjoy.co/mollyburke and the new save-the-bees long sleeve. Adrian is just getting ready for bed. I've obviously already
taken off my makeup, done my whole skincare, brushed my teeth floss, yada yada I have some acne treatment on my mask and I did my foam rolling. I foam roll every single night. So does Adrian. I didn't show you guys but there's been so much
to show in this video. So I highly recommend foam rolling especially foam rolling your back. That's what I foam roll mostly because just as humans, we're
always hunched bent over looking down at phones and screens. And it's really good
to just force your back to bend the other direction
and roll out those muscles. So I highly recommend. When Adrian's back in bed, we
will say our final goodbye. Thank you once again to CVS pharmacy for sponsoring this video, I highly recommend checking it out if you're a fellow blind
or visually impaired person I'm super excited about this. It's about time a pharmacy stepped up and did something like this. So thank you CVS. Super awesome. And if you want more Molly in your life, don't forget to check

the ceiling instead of us, but we're back on us. Okay. Good night guys. - Good night. - Thanks for doing this with me. Oh, that's awesome. - Love you. - Love you too. - Okay, goodnight.
