A Convoluted Mess - BleepinJeep Fan Ride 2020

this is how colt drives his sammy around yeah hey guys this video is from last year's fan ride and this year's fan ride is coming up in october october 8th actually and i'll leave a link down below just give it a little bump right there [Music] there you go now hard passes gonna yeah good job we officially made it up trail 16. i'm gonna count how many rigs we got here make sure we got everybody and we're headed back to camp we'll see you guys in the morning [Music] we just got back from the night run and i don't know what happened uh we were coming down a hill just after the first obstacle and there was a pop in my front end which turned out to apparently be both of my hubs breaking disengaging and somewhat permanently so we're gonna have to tear into that bright and early tomorrow morning and see what is going on with my mile marker hubs well we're just minutes before the saturday morning ride starts here and i'm trying to get my hubs fixed turns out both of my locking hubs they uh stopped working and this the issue is there's a plastic piece in here that's just completely snapped so this all comes apart that spring holds these two halves apart when it's unlocked and i'm changing this around to hold it so that it is always locked and i'm changing this around to this spring and holds the whole thing together rather than ever holding it apart that's all back together and hopefully it stays locked something else breaks next time i jumped in with matt's group here and i think i've got my hub squared away in the front we will find out if they hold together or something else breaks it's uh what 10 10 o'clock in the morning on saturday and about ready to go out for a little wet ride all right it's a day two so we are guiding the moderate trail ride so we're getting these guys up trail 22 in the rain and it rained good last night so it's a little muddy today so let's hit it you got anything to say um we're gonna have fun it's a little tight you some big [Music] this is my view this is what i see if anybody's wondering it's like these guys are working on a tire looks like they got it under control my windshield wipers went out last night and my vent is not working so this is literally my windshield you see anything out there want to drive no [Music] i just have to stick my head out the window to see where i'm going it's raining cats and dogs [Music] there's an obstacle right down there might be here for a minute look at this [Music] if i get out i don't even know if i can walk down there he says he's going over this rock i'm getting the heck out of the way i don't know that's gonna happen [Music] um that locker ain't locking there it goes [Music] now you're all kinds of sideways [Music] ow that hurt you can do it pat you got it i lock thingamabobber lost the valve stem the whole outside piece i've never seen one of those before but i don't know what that is but he's got a spare so we got a very very slick kill climb with a turn coming up i've watched a bunch of people do this and it requires momentum and wheel speed and good good tread which we've got good tires but they're all drained so we'll see how we fare this is a horsepower hill killer right here this was nothing the other day when it was dry now all of a sudden it's like pouring grease out of frying pan whoa gonna have to give it more gas put your four-wheel drives on [Music] oh keep going keep going yes [Music] that guy made it look easy send it yeah now that's a hill right there oh good job forward as far as you can there [Music] he's barefoot he's yeah oh yeah did he break the lockout oh two lockouts dang that second one flying you broke both lockouts john those lockouts suck whatever they are oh yeah that one just let go the other one did the same thing when you hit that side yeah [Applause] no marker don't do the dana 30 mile marker kit you were doing so good up until you hit that side you hit you you slid over into the bank you slid into the bank and that one popped and then that one popped that is a result of a failed hill it was weird i thought i heard one pop on this side before that one popped but that's what they said yeah oh this one's still somewhat together yeah interesting well see if the command chief can get me the rest of the way teamwork makes the dream work i have no front end [Music] drifting go bruh my best fan right there gonna have to hit it harder [Music] let's see what pat's got [Music] oh he's trying a different line look at that piece of cake wow which way you want to go john all right me and john are going to hit this obstacle at the same time like what is it like where they when they swim and they do it synchronized yes synchronize swimming bicycle oh that's yeah you're right getting reconnected to the command chief got to take a bypass tried to take a bypass bailout and it was not any easier than what they went through i ended up getting dragged up the hill again and now we are finally just gonna stay hooked up to the toe strap the rest of the way out guys the command sheep is a freaking beast absolute beast all right just spinning both rear tires away here everything just eats sits up there and eats so beautiful come on baby all right john is uh got a broken lockout so he's headed back to camp and we're going to hit a couple more trails maybe 82 83 26 something like that you ready [Applause] so g33 is supposed to be a gravel road and oh man it is not a gravel road smell tire burning burning rubber [Music] nice yeah yeah all right oh diff catcher right there there he goes oh i
