- If you're not in a good mood,
I'm 'bout to put you in one. 'Cause I found a great story. You know I think everybody in
here has run into a situation where you kinda know
something ain't right. Maybe you wanna get involved,
you don't want to be bothered, everybody kinda had that,
kinda see something, you maybe oughta do something, maybe not, you're busy, you keep going. Well but there are some
people in this world, who do get involved. They do speak up. Those are the people that
we need to talk about more. (audience cheers) We really do. (audience cheers) And some of these people
we can really learn from. There's a story that I heard
about from Paris, France. True story actually happened. Has to do with a man in a wheelchair. Who was waiting at a bus stop. Well when the next bus
pulled up, it was crowded. I mean this bus was absolutely jam-packed. The doors open, the ramp extended. You know they have, you know, disabled you know, access for anybody. But at this point, not a
single person on that bus tried to make room. They just wouldn't back up. They just stood there and
they're just looking at this guy. I mean can you believe that? I mean you know, just tighten up. The man is in a wheelchair,
if you just tighten up, we can make room for this guy. Well, that was one person
who wasn't having it. And that day it happened
to be the bus driver. (audience cheers) So. (audience cheers) Here's what he did. He got up and he yelled, terminus. Now obviously in France,
that means end of the ride. I've never heard the term before 'cause obviously well I aint' French. But he got up and he yelled terminus. And which meant everybody
has to get off the bus. Means end of the line. Well the bus driver then told
the man in the wheelchair, that he and his brother
could now get on the bus. Now all the people had to get off the bus. (audience claps) Now the bus driver then
looked at all the passengers who were hoping to get back on, but the bus driver said, you
can wait for the next one. (audience cheers) Now you can imagine that this made some headlines. So when the driver was
asked about what happened, he said, he didn't know the man, but had simply chosen to
show a little civility. That's all he wanted to do. So folks, here's the deal with this story. You gotta choice that you
can make in your life. You can choose to be
one of the passengers, that didn't move, that
didn't decide to make room, or you can be the bus driver. - [Audience Member] Right. - I choose to be the bus driver. (audience cheers) And I think that if we all
would show a little bit more civility towards one another, this world we live in would
just be a better place. Yeah. Hey, let's give some hey Steve.
