Javier from that racing channel welcome back to another TRC Invitational episode we are back out at Orlando Speed World and today we have a familiar matchup for you guys James's 1800 horsepower trackhawk go up against Miguel's 800 wheel horsepower all-wheel drive Honda Civic in that episode they got down with some Roll Racing [Applause] on this episode we're going to be doing some traditional drag racing from a dig quarter mile first to the Finish Line wins all right guys just want to give a quick shout out to our boy Don Omar he put these events on every single Thursday at osw Michael hey everything good good to see you guys again so today we're out here doing some quarter mile dig racing last time you had it at what 1300 or so or yeah hard to say exactly but it's probably 1400 something like that right now okay cool cool so you'll start there yeah and if you need to if you need to chase down a Civic or something you might hit that scramble that's true Michael what's up dude so so anything changed since last time oh yeah absolutely I'm going to the dino uh last week and put a little bit uh more boost I see what happened today yeah how much did it make 900 horsepower so 30 pounds of boost made 900 yes man that's Stout Michael's 30 is really 55. nothing nothing all right so not really anything to discuss this time we're not doing Roll Racing we're doing quarter what's up brother hey how's it going good to meet you man so last time we were screaming for Carlos we needed more boost you got the man some more boost and this thing's running good but you guys took it to the dyno and it made it made 900 on like 30 pounds uh 32 pounds I mean 919 on pump E85 um we're running out of pump so I turned it down a little bit um until the pump comes up hopefully that'll be here this week that's awesome what's the rundown on the on the build okay so the car is a K24 bottom man is sleeve the head is just a stock head with uh Ferreira upgraded Springs retainers uh skunk 2 cams 30 degree VTC it's got a manly turbo tough Rod CP Pistons I assembled the motor it's firing and everything I did all the clearances assembly the car was already on a wire works AEM harness and I converted it over to fuel Tech so I converted it over to fueltech did a jumper on it and it's on fd550 fuel tank strain gauge fuel technano De La Cruz Speed uh front speed sensor Mark power did the transmission for us it's a sequential transmission and the transfer and that's all making power the car what size turbo it's a 6870 1670 okay you know what rear housing I believe it's a 96 96 okay so not even the biggest one yeah unfortunately the turbo's never been apart from the actual manifold so we never really looked at it but I believe it's a 96. the way it's behaving it's a 96. thanks for cutting here yeah I appreciate it um thank you for covering it hopefully we can take a shot at the trackhawk again all right so let's go ahead and fire these things up see what we're working with here 63 62. that's flying dude so it looked like you had a couple hiccups I shouldn't have gave him an eighth mile lead I didn't have a chance to get on the two steps so I left in vacuumed but and what was what was your time nine six at 152. you had some mile hour in that thing yeah or what what's your goal I mean that's knocking on the Eight Second Eight Second door right there now you know a little bit more uh that's his famous line all right so uh let's uh you guys do yeah yeah I just if I can pull in sooner and just get a little chance to be on my two-step then yeah are you cool with giving him an opportunity to get on the two-step to do the double bowl first single single and then I'll go in first and then can you get on your two step fast enough on the pro tree yeah okay yeah it's fast sounds good yeah okay well thanks for being a good sport that was easy all right boys let's do this [Music] all right oh bro that was a sick race it looked like Michael just uh came out came out a little a little soft a little too late on the tree he fell asleep on the light but it would have been great oh man if it would have been a same lighter they would have lined up dude that was almost Picture Perfect nine two nine one 158 159 mile an hour great match that thing's consistent bro that was so good it was like 9192 and you guys were like one mile an hour apart dude this thing's running consistent bro so good James my man so you fixed the issue it went really well I did actually forget to go to map three there's so much that goes on getting it in getting into second gear getting on the two-step taking off I didn't go to map three so it was only I don't know whatever boost only only like 1400 horsepower yeah but it was enough and that's what matters oh man dude this thing's flying what's your personal best in the car right now that was it yeah congratulations bro thank you dude that's flying I mean that thing's a tank bro hell yeah so map three will add another couple hundred horsepower yeah whoo thank you for letting me do it where's your Dawn business with you Michael thank you for being a good sport so just just to recap we did let you get in get in the bulb first and then you you kind of had to set up your your launch control it takes you a little bit longer to get up on that two-step so Michael let you get into it then he then he uh then he rolled in but man that was a picture perfect rate it looked like you might have slept a little bit at the at the light yeah yeah so what do you think it's one in one boys it's one and one you guys uh I mean it couldn't have been more picture perfect than that what do you say we just run it up again heads up or yeah same thing all right brother so for this next round you got anything you're gonna tweak or you're going to leave it as is or what are you thinking a little bit more boost we're gonna get this man a shirt that says just a little bit more boost yeah so what do you what are you thinking you said you you have a little bit more boost in it this is the final round whoever wins this race takes the overall win so he goes up boost I might have to go up boost they're absolutely perfectly paired difference in mile an hour these cars couldn't be a better matchup I know you guys didn't get your eight ticket passes today but there's always next time there will be next time James says I'm coming for you you guys are both winners in my books you guys came out here it's hot as heck out today and you guys are beating on your cars and having a good time but at the end of the day we took home to
