9 Gilligan's Island Bloopers You Probably DID NOT Notice!

hey what's up guys and gals my name is Rick Nanji thank you so much for joining me today we're gonna be looking at Gilligan's Island I am a huge fan of the show let me tell you it is one of my favorite shows of all time the reason to make a lot of these videos and dedicate so much of my time to making so many videos to a certain TV shows because I love them I absolutely love all the shows that I cover and that's something I really want to highlight this video is by no means to put down the show on the contrary it's to highlight just certain fun things after watching it so many times you know some things may pop up here and there so I want to show you some bloopers that I think that you will absolutely enjoy that cover a range of episodes from all three seasons so let's take a look at the first know interestingly enough the first one is found in every single episode at least in season two and that's in the opening credits now if we're familiar with opening credits we will see that we start basically in the marina we're introduced to the skipper and Gilligan and then we're introduced to the boat heading out into the ocean now if you really take a close look at the boat itself and count the people on the actual boat how many people are there one two three four five six seven well there should be seven right but if you look there's actually eight in two separate shots there are eight people there's many different reasons for this but the main one is that these aren't the actual actors on the boat these are other people that are standing it's just to get those long-range shots for the opening credits so pretty cool to see and I don't know how many of you cup moving on to season two we take a look at episode 29 the friendly physician we see Vito Scotty playing doctor boris balinkoff now dr. balinkoff promised to rescue the castaways but he actually seeked subjects for bizarre experiments and include putting Gilligan's brain and mrs. Howells body now it's a very fun episode but if you go back to the part where the castaways are on the boat returning away from this crazy castle you'll notice in the background you will see other buildings that belong to the CBS studio lots it's pretty cool to see of course the way the lagoon was built was that they wanted all the plants and trees obscure all of the surrounding studios and warehouses and everything that was around the lagoon whoever in the shot the camera is placed in the wrong place and we got to see things we weren't supposed to pretty cool now episode 3 season 3 past the vegetables please after everyone feasts on veggies grown from experimental radioactive seeds they develop strange powers the professor decides that if they chew on soap then this would be a great way to get rid of the radioactivity now the funny thing is that they begin to blow bubbles and you can see two bloopers I'll just include it I guess in one moment that's where you see Gilligan with a giant yellow hose behind him that's where the bubbles are coming out of then you see kind of a metal stand behind Mary Ann and that's where the bubbles come out of her of course the camera wasn't supposed to catch those moments but then again I don't know it's just fun to see it in these are great bloopers Island now moment number five comes from episode seven season three the episodes called man with the net now in this one Gilligan becomes a butterfly collector because an expert comes on the island and is more interested in butterflies than in the shipwrecked seven castaways of course the seven are trying to come up with a plan to get the man to bring them to dry land that is their home and they try to trick him into drinking alcohol unfortunately all of them get so drunk that they fall asleep if you look at mrs. Howell at this point played by the lovely natalie schafer you can see her eyes briefly open and then closed back up again it's a little bit of a gaffe but it's nice to see it but you have to watch really close now when they jump back to season one these are the black-and-white episodes in particular episode one a season one it's called two on a raft the castaways awakened to find themselves marooned on an uncharted island so Gilligan and skipper set out on a flimsy raft to find civilization now this scene with the raft was filmed in a in a movie tank so this is basically like a large swimming pool now if you look at a couple the scene especially when the shark comes you will notice you can see the rim or the edge of the actual tank in some of the shot it's kind of funny it shows you that this is not an ocean but then again it's a first episode and so I'll cut them some slack season 1 episode 15 so sorry my Island now this is the first appearance of Vito Scotty playing a Japanese sailor world war two Japanese sailor that is but he doesn't know that the war has been long over so he lands a one-man submarine and comes ashore and takes captives that is the castaways so Gilligan and skipper decided to steal the submarine skipper can't fit in it so Gilligan gets in it and you see him riding around in the lagoon however there's no real submarine all this is they just have the periscope and we see two moments here number one you get to see someone with their flippers pop out and secondly you actually get to see the periscope attached to a diver and they can't see the diver but you can see the tank on their back that makes a brief appearance over the water if you look closely you will be able to see it and finally I want to point you to season 1 episode 28 of Gilligan's Island the episodes called they're off and running now skipper loses all that he has including Gilligan while betting on turtle races with mr. Howell but money man soon finds out that winning Gilligan as a houseboy is the same as losing now you will see them practice often times throughout the episode with the two turtles and at one point you see Gilligan chewing on a carrot on the end of a carrot and throughout the episode throughout this series you actually see him without a wedding ring Bob Denver was married at the time however for the show he was a young single man but notice as he's holding the carry he must have forgotten to take off his wedding band his wedding ring because you can see it in the scene as he's holding on to the carrot and later on as the scene changes the band disappears so it's kind of cool to see that a little bit of a blooper but if you look hard enough you'll see it well that's it for this video guys and gals I do appreciate you watching and supporting the channel the best way to support the channel is by subscribing and thumbs up in this video and I do appreciate you for doing that any comments down below are well appreciated and I do love to read every one of them we'll see you next time guys and gals stay positive and most importantly be hopeful [Music]
