80 Square Foot Tiny House Has Magic Furniture!

[Music] he said you've been building forever what inspired you to get into trailers and - well I'm actually a 8 when the market crash I was in real estate I was buying vintage homes for them we adapted for folks here okay so we adopted him and after paying for the adoption we literally had like two bucks left oh that's it so we had no way to feed them had no job no my lessons were gone everything's just gone after living pretty well for a long time sure and so I'd seen a little teardrop camper one time you know and I can build that better than anybody and so I built one in my driveway out of some leftover parts from a pop-up trailer and stuff uh-huh and got it all done it came out really nice and I'd never actually been in one before and so I sold that and that was when the earthquake hit Haiti oh yeah so I sold that and I do disaster relief and do some missionary work in third-world country stuff so uh huh use that money with the Haiti with the team and just some stuff there and well count onto something then I came back and I got a contract for building get heard of the Seraph Scotty campers numbers and back in the 40s and 50s got a little Scottie dogs silhouette on the run oh yeah well the owner of that company called me up wanted me to design and build their first teardrop since 1958 oh wow so I started building those for them of course they're a big company and they just kind of took off somebody gave me a shop you know within you know it's just a block from my house and I was using that that is cool yes it has no wallet kept doing it and doing it right when the tiny house thing my wife and I'd already been living tiny for years before that uh-huh so when the whole concept ishe first started getting known with his tiny houses yes I thought well shoot I restored vintage homes for years I've been built in micro campers two years from perfect hit uh-huh and living that way for years and I was out the first one it is actually almost exactly like this one uh-huh put it on the market and it sold that day like that day I have people coming from different directions to buy it's like well whoever gets there first so this is the same as the very first design that I built a little bit bigger believe it or not in the first one this is 72 square feet um but until we're actually out the mill the blade and some in this field in it right it doesn't quite forward yeah I mean yeah 233 degrees yeah so um this happen I call a hybrid Murphy band I don't know why somebody hasn't done this before and still doesn't start to know the only one doing this but I thought if you got to pull the bed down and you have to move everything that's underneath it to fold it down it kinda is a waste of the state all right so I thought I'll just put it kinda pretty clear the furniture so yeah this is goes down buck furniture so you can leave the furniture right where it is it just will shut down like that and then you have a little full-size bed here and the girl I thought this more she's got 13 acres over on the Suwannee River uh-huh and she bought this to live in while she was having her main house built okay that's Damon this for like three years could you she put down the main house really so the light in here is absolutely incredible yeah well the sky lights up there in I should you two skylights two side windows and then the window back here yes the whole door is a there's Benny you're going to see bye cutie okay the endurance it's the right word the long-lasting of a wet bath I've always been a little nervous about well I mean this ceramic tile it's galvalume side same as on a commercial roof right to the top keeps going this is yeah I kind of developed my own little system for putting tile down in one of these mm-hmm looks good this is a little slide out pantry oh cool and she's got a little fridge here again this is 72 square feet yeah so I mean to have all the stuff you saw the toaster oven and the cooktop or in there but it's normally sits up here it's a good use of space and then we could all sit in here and hang out and just down here for hours with people just talking and chatting and again right out in the summer side and right oh yeah she shot we went to a different type of skylight now we use the double pane insulated high-end skylights now which we did replaces that's like the the ones that use the dissipating plastic that yeah okay yeah yeah yeah this is just like a commercial roof lexan so it's tough but it looks a lot of year right your AC right at the top beautiful yeah blower from a beautiful thing so yeah well yeah it's the same thing that I think it's so small so efficient this had close to L spray foam I'm going to give this a hundred a mount our hurricane rating it's fire retardant building period watertight and that our value is better yet it's just like other than the space station stuff yeah now is it page proof Hey well my funeral we call the tornado oh yeah he's rolling on at the ER and destroy everything we've owned but he's uh he does well and that's at work and we J test them for sure you want to share with the world how much only walk $16,000 for tell me this is all right no that's not hey you told us that you should have got it that's all either I'm kind of tempted on the come with a family of four how sweet it is it'll work yeah we hold it down we have the two beds underneath there's my boy yeah actually yeah we actually can't do this once before I let her take it nice yeah a pinky yeah and for the show that we had right on the water one they said we had a rain storm cooler there that first night uh-huh it was frogs and stuff waited over there watching the rain is nice this you know the the portable oven and cooktop on there and then you got a refrigerator sink so you do have a full kitchen yeah in a full bathroom right back yeah and then your storage I mean that pantry awesome there you got a closet differently in it some shelving there you got yeah big shelf above the bed area knowing is that there's a shed a shed okay yeah oh that's right yeah so yeah use of space is incredible I mean multifunctional and well I did one if you're on my youtube channel see it's called the GT it goes away with a bright orange door okay they have the same kind of Murphy bed system and down here they have a door on here and that flips up to a table you can see that they suspect them then the whole thing opens up and they have to wash your dryer built in there went on this on this side they have curtains in that closet it goes back two feet and so I have a closet space back in there you got an ESP that out that's 112 square penis 2 full-size develops and two big dogs and they've been living in an off-grid completely off grid for few years now I guess this is a good time to pitch what's your YouTube channel dependent trailers it's no it's ridiculous it's Andrew Bennett tiny house master builder ah I did push well yeah this one definitely goes against the and this was only like the third house that bill so still figuring out themselves yeah cool adult Cypress here [Applause] Welli betrayal lining of course this is there a little shad got a battery banks in there and some storage of course the camera's not going done we'll get intervention and another on-demand water heater which we don't want to talk about yeah if you got a lot an on-demand water here make sure you're going to spend at least 300 bucks to get a decent one not these little $98 one and like out of seven of these we had three that were really awesome uh-huh this being one of them okay and the others we just do it you just can't get dialed in right just not invest now from anyone as me yeah we're getting scolded or freezing
