job converting to most of these formats except excel it really struggled to convert to excel accurately we wouldn't rely on it for that still it has plenty of formats to convert to which is awesome you can set a password for your documents in pdf element you can see your log documents on the home page the application does not support face or touch id so you can't rely on those to unlock your documents while it might feel like extra work it might actually be necessary precaution to protect important files should someone bypass your ipad password they'll need to know this password to access your document let us know how you feel about that another thing to note is that there is no way to recover this password if you forget it pdf element is available on ipad os or ios android mac os and windows for those in the apple ecosystem you can upload your documents to the pdf element icloud folder to access them on multiple devices you have control over documents you are syncing and those you application supports ftp and sftp cloud storage you can also transfer your document between your computer and ipad via wi-fi and now for the few reasons pdf element might not be the application you want to use it is missing the following features syncing across devices you can't sync across your devices with windows and android pdf element does not backup your documents you can't interact with your scans in any way you can't highlight on them or search through them the application also doesn't convert your word or powerpoint documents to pdf for the desktop versions of pdf element ocr works
