8 Hard Drives in a Fractal Design Node 304 - Yes, it CAN be done.

okay this is probably the dumbest thing I've ever done this is ridiculous how difficult it is to put together and take apart but what you are looking at is a fractal design node 304 case with eight 10 terabyte hdst he 10 hard drives in there on SAS cables on a Dell perk h30 RAID controller and if you look I'm not getting an upgrade to an h40p or an h30p because I actually had to clear a little tiny notch out of the back plastic of this hard drive for that raid card to fit in there the H uh 30 and 40s come out a little past the connectors here so uh i3 12100t ID cooling um 224 cooler [Music] um aorus 690i ITX motherboard fractal fan in the back intake is a pair of fractals 92 millimeters they're pulling right across the hard drive if I need to upgrade this to a fractal fan I can but uh yeah that's it it Powers up it works I get to rebuild my my RAID my uh my drive now with these eight drives I'm going to expand it to a raid six and have about 54 terabytes of usable space
