700 Water Balloon Firing Squad

today we celebrate our 700 the episode by getting pelted with 700 water balloons let's talk about that [Music] good morning mythical beasts today we together celebrate this our seventh hundredth episode we said seventh hundredths which it's actually true it is the seventh time we've done 100 episodes but it's also the 700th episode and [Music] [Music] don't do that just that did that get that yeah don't don't go through all that coma seriously guys 700 episodes you know many of you have watched every single one of those 700 episodes and we appreciate that and just because you've only watched 600 or 500 or this is your first one hey you could still be a mythical beast you can this is a special thing thanks for being a part of it we plan to do at least 700 mo and then maybe 700 after that I don't know we go many 100 episodes but yeah I want to echo what Rhett said and thank you for being a loyal mythical beast no matter how many episodes you've watched we're able to keep making this show because you're able to keep watching it so yes we live in our dream so you don't have to and thanks for we and we asked you guys on the Internet's tell us what to do for our seven others episode and so we're gonna be doing today the things that you suggested for us to do Melanie flowers suggested hashtag GMM 700 do something with 700 ping-pong ball well Melanie flowers it turns out the 700 ping-pong balls doesn't look like as many ping-pong balls as you might think but what we're going to do is we are going to have them dumped onto our faces all at the same time in epic slo-mo fashion while dressed as professional ping-pong players and the goal is to not react we will not react to the ping ponen area [Applause] [Music] [Music] well I for one did not flinch oh I didn't flinch either not the least bit well maybe a little alright for our six hundredth episode we did some research in history and found out what happened in the year 600 and then we reenacted it so now we are gonna do that again except it's not gonna be the year 600 it's gonna be you guys the year 700 100 here's what was happening in the year 700 or there abouts in China there were some alchemists who are trying to create an elixir of life of course to give people life immortal and they were experimenting with different mixtures and one of those mixtures they were experimenting with contained potassium nitrate otherwise known as saltpeter and though I've never heard of them okay and they ended up unintentionally inventing gunpowder hmm all right so this is how we imagine that going down in the latest version of rhettandlink theater in the year 700 Oh Kyle isn't it great to be a Chinese alchemists it is indeed of the year 700 well great things have you made any progress in the immortality elixir in my absence huh no I've been a little distracted by this new game what is it ping pong so in the stress ball little white balls stress balls speaking of which I've got a saltpeter oh really i cold jar of it oh no not for me with that can you see it we need to get a better look at it perhaps not yes you know what I need to uh shed some light on this look at this got this down at the box store the closer look Barry and Kyle didn't live forever in fact they died that very day but they invented gunpowder and the people of South Carolina were forever drinks in the year 700 okay and now for another celebration suggestion from Bride & Roberts who said get hit with 700 water balloons that sounds fun here we are leaning against a red wall and we have assembled a the two of us so yeah we're getting ahead for this all right guys now there's there's some sanitation I have an idea I've thought about this plan okay we are going to make the gum ball right here okay on this platform the way we're gonna do this is you have your hand your uh your gum grabbing hand okay and you take that like if it was your left hand you take it and you drop it in your mouth so there's so you never touch your mouth with this hand then you have your right hand your other hand you shoot after you chew the gum you spit it out and you take it and you push it into the nasty gumball that we're all gonna be creating it sound like this okay so I would grab with my left drop pick him up go for it your left or your right [Music] don't you maintain and then spit without touching how about that tube and we got only doing yellow so that's gonna be me I'm assuming we're gonna have to time ramp this because we're only three gumballs in and we can use all the help we can get [Music] can we do this we're getting comfy alright we're halfway through we're making history oh all our saliva is combined into that gum box like a brain y'all put too much flour in your gum [Music] all right now we need to shape it into a ball there's so much excess saliva coming out of it it actually smells good oh look at the bottom like a gummy bear surgeon bring it to the table look at that thing we should listen once you have three kids and you gotta clean up after them well a lot of things gross me out but yes form it form a nice ball real nice ball anyone still watching it but your liver looks like you've got [Laughter] yeah all right good work team look at what we've created when we bind together it we should be proud and collect all of our powers for this is the kind of power that you have as a mythical beast seven hundred episodes leads to smokey Josh coming up with the best idea ever oh gosh to create a gumball consisting of seven hundred gumball gumballs the
