you or your bite mat partner a relative or friend may have some of these in your garage but I can almost guarantee they won't have all seven they're all relatively cheap and simple add-ons and as such are not really worthy of a separate video for each one well I don't think they are and for this reason I've grouped them all together into this one upload full disclosure as always I paid for all these items out of my own pocket and have not been asked to review them by anybody I use them on pretty much all my bikes so these are my own unbiased views Oh number one on the list grip puppies at about fifteen pounds these are pretty expensive for what they are basically two foam rubber tubes but if you have large hands they do increase the diameter of your handlebars to make it more comfortable and also help attenuate any vibration they're a bit of a pain to fit I use warm water only as I don't want to run the risk of a soap and water solution turning into a slippery lubricant if I'm caught out in the rain it's definitely worth forking out the extra for the genuine article here because I've tried cheaper alternatives and they just disintegrate within a few hundred miles literally especially if they're exposed to rain or harsh Sun I've put these grit puppies on all my bikes and I've had no issues at all number two on the list is Denalis a mini sound bomb standard motorcycle horns are usually pretty puny more of a meat meat than a pop and a source of embarrassment to me even when I'm on the scooter the Denali sound bomb is a simple plug-and-play solution that doesn't require any complicated wiring or relays at least of all the bikes I've fitted them to and with 113 decibels gives your bike the road presence of a large car like this dena me offer a couple of different horns including a split model where the compressor and horn are separate units providing a more discreet install on bikes where space is the premium cost of the model I use this mini sound bomb is about 25 pounds number three is this invoke seer tracker I think this is probably the best GPS truck you've never heard of if you look elsewhere on YouTube or Google most reviews of this track are in French sometimes of Spanish or Portuguese nothing like that of course but there's very little information out there in English about this clever little device the reason why I think this is a good gadget to have is because of the low cost and ease of use install the app pair the devices and then conceal the tracker wherever is most convenient three years subscription comes included and from then on it's just ten euros a year there's no sim card to worry about because the tracker uses the low row or low range network rather than the more traditional 3G 4G now I'm now IT expert but it would appear this is a slightly less sophisticated and cheaper network to use hence the very low subscription charges you can follow where your bike has been on the app although it shows you where you've stopped rather than an exact Road by road guide to the route you took the information is pretty limited but when you consider that this is a tool to aid recovery rather than a full-blown tracker the details should be enough to help you locate your bike should he get stolen there's even a little bleeper function you can activate on a device by the phone app which will help you find the bike when you're in range I've used my devices successfully in Belgium France Spain and Portugal but do check your area is covered by the lower network before you commit to buy the only negative is that you get an alert message to let you know your bike has moved even when it's you who's riding it so you do end up receiving quite a few false alarms especially on a long trip it's a pity the device can't as it were disable itself when it's within range of your phone the cost of this tracker direct from the inbox co.com website is 99 pounds number 4 on my list is the Ram mounts X grip phone cradle ok so many of you will already have one of these cradles or similar to hold your phone when you're riding the RAM mount is pretty expensive but you can configure it to exactly fit your phone and your bike on there online mount builder and it is very well made it's very stable and grips my iPhone 10 Mac's perfectly in all the conditions I've used it in from light off-road to motorway the only slight issue I had was the very skinny factory accessory bar provided on my Honda CB 500 X which you can see here the Rams clamp was designed to fit a thicker bar like handlebars on a bike so I had to bulk up my accessory bar using a rubber tie like the ones you use to fix a young tree to a support post cost between about 50 and 80 pounds depending on the configuration you go with next on the list locking wheel nut caps now you see many people put their disc locks on the front wheel it is more convenient this way but securing the rear wheel makes more sense because it's more difficult to remove them the front my scooter is particularly vulnerable insofar as it has a very simple 90 millimeter bolt humbling holding on the front wheel and the disc on the rear wheel is well a drum so no chance of putting a lock on that these simple nut locks make things a little safer simply push them on top of the wheel not tighten them with a key and they make the removal of the nut a lot more difficult I can't remember the exact cost as I've had a set of 4 lying around in my garage for a number of years but I think they were about 20 pounds number 6 battery booster it's one of those things you don't use that often but which is worth its weight in gold when you do need it sigh when you have a flat battery I went with a fairly powerful 1,000 amp model from genius boost as I also wanted to be able to use it on the car if you need me consequently it's quite big to carry around on a bike at over a kilo with the cables and so I prefer to keep it in the garage I've used it a couple of times to start a bike and my van and it worked perfectly thick good quality cables are supplied and it's very intuitive to use there's also a USB out socket so you can recharge your phone or other such device and finally number seven the kickstand block this is probably the simplest and cheapest accessory imaginable and as such is my favorite on this list I can't really say much about it because it's well just a rubber block but it took me years to find it now I don't know about you but on return to the garage after a good ride it pained me to see how steeply that mike has to lean over on his kickstand I know machines aren't sentient beings but the Mike always looks so uncomfortable and therefore I looked for something suitable to prop it up a bit it had to be non-slip of course and about 20 millimetres thick not too big or heavy googling kickstand pad or block just brings up those thin portable plastic tabs you use to stabilise the stand if you're forced to park on a loose ground what I wanted was a rubber block but it proved very difficult to find one until I stumble across this it's a jewelers dapping block a new term to me and it's just the right size at ten by ten by two centimetres it's made of hard rubber so is non-slip on most surfaces it's soft enough to cushion the kickstand but hard enough not to deform under the weight of the bike once you know what the cold jubileus dapping block they're easy enough to find on eBay and Amazon and offer the perfect solution for only four or five pounds so there we have it seven motorcycle accessories you never knew you needed I hope you found some inspiration in this video and as always thanks for watching [Music]
