whether you are an old school sha player or you just got him in this video I will try to give you a few Advanced tips that will help you minax your builds and gameplay as always in this series of videos we avoid covering the most basic aspects of the character's kit and go straight into more advanced mechanics and ways to play them first things first the way you want to use Shia's kit and plunge attacks can actually change quite a bit depending on the scenario you in the first combo we will go through is the classic n1j Shia has a unique first normal attack that is divided into two hits the first one does not have hit Lu meaning it will not delay his animations upon enemy contact weaving this normal in between plunges will result in a tiny animation cancel for the plunge but most importantly two other things being able to obviously get some extra damage and hits in which will also help weapons like premoral Jade wining spear it will also trigger teammates talent that require normal attacks to activate this however needs to be adjusted depending on the the character pit sha for example yellen's coordinated attack will trigger at the very start of a normal attack which makes it perfect for this offcial C6 works the same binu oroma instead will require a slower cancel for their burst to activate talents that trigger upon hit will work accordingly but this I just mentioned work for Shia even if you're far away from the Target and don't actually hit opponents with your normals which happens quite often in AOE another way to attack witha is the jet combo this combo is performed by doing a charger attack and cutting its animation by jumping to perform a plunge do note that you should only use it in single Target scenarios and it's the highest Talent multiplier attack string that it can perform it can also be used while chasing collision damage collision damage are hits that can occur when a character performing a plunge attack collides with the Enemy hitbox before touching the ground using this multiplier right here as you can see it's possible to get get even more than one extra instance of this Collision on each plunge this will come out every Point 3 second on the enemy hit box and they obviously represent a big boost in sh's damage especially if done often however it's not always easy or even possible to achieve them generally the bigger or taller the enemy the more chances of these extra hits to open and the only real way to make them open is to try to plch right on top center of the enemy positioning is also key to make sure all your enemies get hit by each plunge this is pretty straightforward so I won't talk too much about it but basically you either make sure to be in the center of your targets so they all receive damage or especially if they get stered a lot you try to form a line between you and them so that when pushed they will follow the same direction and it will be easier for you to keep hitting them Shia in basically all of his teams has the often called hyper carry role a hyper carry is a character that will carry the team in this case by representing most if not almost all the team's damage to do so he will need this team to provide him with Buffs protection and make sure that his 70 energy cost is covered this can be very basic to explain but it's vital to smooth out his gameplay using his skill right before the burst and fast enough will make sure that the energy from the two skills go towards the next burst moreover it's possible to also include another character's skill together with his to give him a head start as you can see I'm able to get energy from a for Zone skill and two sh skills his burst is able to do this because he consumes the energy at the start of its animation this does not work very well for a C1 even if you C your three skills there is a chance you're not going to get all the energy or that you're just going to get part of it and while talking about a C1 do not that the extra skill cast does not really provide sha with an extra skill per rotation as he will only have two left on the second cast however he can still be valuable for team's energy and damage Shia is notorious for the lack of strength on all of the next constellations until C6 but on the upside he feels absolutely complete at c0o and chasing team upgrades or weapons is way better for his performance since his release back in early 2021 where sha best thems either had betet or double Geo and the best Animo options were just sucus or a very lucky C4 genin we had three units that really revamped his team comps faren furina and shun fun fact actually shain's called this exact Team Final Fantasy 20 which is so genius and dumb at the same time anyway farzan especially at C6 is a Powerhouse for sha she provides anemo damage rest shred energy crit damage and rarely some grouping of course her value can be much lower before C6 and she's still very hard to get having had only three runs so far and none being with Shia furina is pretty strong even at c0 with a high damage percentage buff good personal damage but requires healing to run at its best and that's where shun comes in our first specialized plune buffer offering a party-wide healing extra crade and a strong additive multiply your buff to plunge attacks this buff will ignore sh's attack and talent levels and scale off with crit and other sources of damage percentage and that's why it's so strong with furina and faroan you can find tons of info on shun on her own video but for sh she was able to establish and complete his best team to date of course there can be drawbacks that make this team not 100% perfect one of this is how easily obtainable TR rate is for Sha but not crit damage we have from 4 to 10% crate boost coming from Shaun Sha's own Ascension stat and possibly Mar and primordial of course all of this together are not playable michos is another great Improvement for shiao that is not necessarily his best set especially when compared to Vermilion but provides a very comparable solution and in a few scenarios even more damage a general rule when choosing your build is to try to even out your stats when presented with high crit and damage percentage options attack becomes more valuable when the attack is really high the damage percentage and crit take it away your damage is a multiplication of many factors to maximize the product of a multiplication you want to allocate as much as possible to each part and avoid going all in into one or two stats the perfect build to your exact case can only be given by a calculator but as a general rule let's make a couple of examples you have a furina faran in your party the best artifact set is likely a Vermillion that will make sure your attack is also pretty high crit will come hopefully from weapon and good stats you have Benet furina and faran instead so tons of attack and damage percentage are already there manc will likely perform similarly if not not better than Vermilion here this applies to your weapons as well of course his two best options remain primordial and hom rare cases will'll see Vortex actually performing very well and most other five stars can be okay as far as fourstar Weapons go Shia still didn't receive much it's either death match black Cliff or the most offensive fourar in one's inventory missive is a good free-to-play option if you play during 3.1 while litic and protector drill are very rare and have their own conditions at that point you can consider just using a fabon
