hi friends welcome to all in this video we are going to see the packet tracer activity configuring basic ie GRP with the ipv4 here is our objectives of this packet tracer activity in part 1 configure a itrp in party to verify a GRP routing we will go through the background in this activity we will implement a basic ie GRP configurations including network commands passive interfaces and a disabling automatic summarization we will then verify our ie GRP configuration using a variety of sha commands and resting in deterrent connectivity coming to party 1 configure a IG RP in that step 1 enable the eigrp routing process enabled the eigrp routing process on each router using s number as 1 the configuration for r1 is shown here we can see that router aig are p1 what is the range of numbers that can be used for a s numbers it's obviously from a 1 to a 6 5 5 3 5 we can check that while configuring our AI GRP first of all we will come to our 1 CL I enable here we are going to give a configure terminal and to router AI each ERP here we can see an autonomous system number is from 1 to 6 5 5 3 5 yes so here we are going to give a 1 as specified now we will come to our 2 CL I enable configure terminal here we are going to give router a IG r p1 coming to r3 CLI enable configure terminal here we are going to give a router a IEG rp1 now we will come to and step to advertise directly connected networks use the show IP route command to display the directly connected networks on each router so how can you tell the differences between subnet addresses and interface addresses right so we will give this a show command on all the routers coming to r1 so IP route and here we can see the route so here the subnets are identified with SC and link addresses are identified with an L here we can see that C and TL yes next is on each router configure RP to advertise the specific directly connected subnets the configuration for r1 is shown here we can see that they given the network's three networks here we can see coming to our worm here we can see that that is 170 2.2 16.1 go to 0 here we can see 172 route 16 dot 3.0 and the third one is 192 dot 168 or 10.4 coming to the configuration on r1 configured terminal we will go to router aig rp1 and you know allah give that network 172 door 216 to 1.0 and 2 here we can see the wild-card bits that is 0 dot 0 dot 0 dot 255 and now we will give the next to network that is 172 dot 16.3 dot 0 and here we can see the wild-card bits that is 0 dot 0 dot 0 dot 3 yes the last network 192 dot 168 though 10.4 and the wild-card bit 0 0.03 yes coming through r2 here we can see that directly connected networks 172 door 16 though 2.0 slams 24 170 2.16 door 3.0 slouched 30 and 2 192 dot 168 or 10.8 it's now it's 30 right we will configure these on our - coming to the configuration on our - we will be the first network of 170 2.16 the 2.0 and here we can see that while the CAD a bit so that is 0 dot 0 dot 0 dot 255 coming to the next network 172 dot 16.3 road 0 and the wild-card bits 0 dot 0 dot 0 dot 3 and the last network here is one ninety two dot one sixty eight dot 10.8 and to the wild card with 0 dot 0 dot 0 dot 3 yes coming to r3 here we can see 3 directly connected networks one ninety two dot one sixty eight dot one dot 0/24 one ninety two dot one sixty eight dot 10.4 / 30 and 10.8 / 30 right we will configure on r3 now coming to the configuration here we are going to given it to work one ninety two dot one sixty eight dot one dot zero and the wild card beats 0 dot 0 dot 0 dot 255 the next network e so one ninety two dot one sixty eight dot 10.4 and the wild card with 0 dot 0 dot 0 3 and the last network one ninety two dot one sixty eight dot 10.8 and to the wild card with 0 dot 0 dot 0 dot three right now you will come two and step three configure passive interfaces the land interfaces - not at today's GRP updates the configurations for our one is shown here we can see that passive interface then be able to specify the interface a gig avatar co-star zero here we can see that this interface on our one gigabit a third here we can see that 0/0 yes coming to that configuration right here we are going to give a passive interface interface name is Gigabit Ethernet 0/0 and coming to r2 here we can see the interface Gigabit Ethernet 0 slash 0 which is going to this land this network 1 970 2.16 or 2.0 right so here we are going to configure that the passive interface Gigabit Ethernet 0/0 and - coming to our true the passive interface a Gigabit Ethernet 0/0 now we will come to and step for a disable automatic summarization the topology contains the discontinuous and it works therefore a disable automatic summarization on each router the configuration for r1 is shown here we can see that no Auto summary so pry or to iOS 15 Auto somebody had to be manually disabled right so we will do this automatic summarization know coming to r1 here we are going to give a no Auto summary you will do it on our to know Auto summary coming to r3 no Auto summary coming to step 5 and save the configurations right we will do it on all the routers copy running to start up coming to r2 enable copy running to start up and coming to the last router are three copy running to stand up yes now we will come to a party to verify EIGRP routing net step one examine neighbor at the census which command displays the neighbors discovered by EIGRP yes we have the so command to call the show IP EIGRP neighbors so all three routers should have two neighbors listed the output for our one should look similar to the following here we can see that they given the output for our one coming to a step to display the EIGRP routing protocol parameters what command displays the parameters and other information about the current state of any active ipv4 routing protocol processes configured on the router yes so here we have to use the show command show IP protocols so on our to enter the command you listed for to a and to answer the following questions that means we are going to give the show IP protocol command on our to write so we will do that first coming to our to CLI right here we are going to give the show command show IP protocols and here we can see the details right coming to the first question how many routers are serving routing information with our - yes here we can see that two routers yes and where is this information located unter yeah here we can see that routing information sources yes and what is the maximum hop count so if you come to this a show command here we can see maximum hop count is hundred now we will come to and step three a verify n t2 and an activity pc-1 pc2 and the pc3 should now be able to ping each other if not troubleshoot your aeg RP configurations right so we will try that we will get the IP address of pc 3 here is the actress coming to pc 1 the stop command prom - here we are going to ping to pc 3 here is the actress oops yes so we are getting the replay now we will get the IP address of pc 2 here we can see that its 2.10 coming to pc one ping to pc - yes we are getting the replay yes that's all in this packet tracer activity here we can see the completion status it's 80 out of 80 so in this video we have seen how to configure a basic AI GRP with ipv4 and to finally be verified AIG ARP routing runs if you have any doubt please comment below also if you like my video give a thump and don't forget to subscribe the channel so that you will get the latest uploading video info into our Gmail bye bye
