Hello friends ! this is the full video of my 60 days in the jungle if you have seen the previous videos hope you understand! I am making a shelter in this place this is a field of shrubs and near a water source that is very suitable for later life I am making a framework for the house I need a large space later where I can put a table and chairs and Bed The lanyard I use is from small and flaked bamboo. I use these palm leaves for roofing it can be used up to 2 years the rainforest has a lot of leeches, snakes and insects so I have to make the floor about 1m off the ground. There are nearly 200 different species of bamboo in the rainforest, each species has a different effect, very convenient in housing construction, handicrafts and industry. Palm leaves are specialized materials for roofing bamboo houses to keep houses. the house is cool in the summer not too heavy for the bamboo frame and lasts up to 2-3 years I use these bamboos to create the floor plane this is the traditional way where I live This way I can also create walls around the house to block out the wind and wild animals. All are old bamboo that I have selected that will not wither over time the sudden rain of the forest! I need 2 stairs for the house to be convenient to move and the house will be more beautiful I use fresh leaves to create smoke to repel insects, termites, this type of leaf gives off a very strong and unpleasant smoke smell if the bamboo house is always If there is smoke that sustains termites, they will not be able to function, the house will be more durable. I built a kitchen here and made some walls to block the wind and rain the kitchen space is quite good enough for me to use now I need to find some food This plant has a very crunchy and sweet core it belongs to the areca family and called Arenga pinnata here there are signs of stone snails maybe it is concentrated upstream of this stream. I need to clear the shelter and build a fence around here I make some chicken traps here I usually call this trap #4 because the shape looks like a 4 I use small twigs to create rows barrier forcing the animals to pass through a set trap This is a wild fruit Inside the skin there is a mucilage that can irritate the skin, the innermost part of the seed is covered with a hard shell. In the past, the seeds of this fruit were often used as a food substitute. It has a slightly bitter taste but very flexible and was also used to make cake dough. I have to remove the rind first and then boil it to remove the hard shell. This is the crow's nest (Asplenium nidus) of the fern family that is used for decoration and luck. This shell is very hard. This is the filling I need. this is the rest of yesterday i will use it to make new dishes a job that takes time and patience i will go get some honey to make sweet soup That is the beehive that i discovered the other day This bee produces the most honey in the rainforest. I use smoke to scare away aggressive bees. It's very afraid of smoke! This is not an easy job I got a few stings from it even though my body is not allergic to bees but still feel the pain. This is how much honey I get from it enough for me to make sweet soup I made a bamboo spoon to easily enjoy this nutritious soup. I invite you to enjoy with me it's soft and sweet with the scent of honey I'm building a fence around the shelter with a simple fence, but it makes me feel safe I'll leave an entrance here it's convenient to go to the stream I'm making thin bamboo slats and some small round spokes for making baskets This is the bottom of the basket which is square but the top of the basket will be rounded for convenience when you put it in items to cart When I moved, I use this basket to keep your things needed to be locked Mouth basket for basket making more durable. it looks pretty good! By the way, I made an extra basket for food. These large bamboo slats give rigidity and durability to the basket's mouth. Also, there's the aesthetics of the basket. I'm going to check out the traps that were set the day before This trap doesn't work the traps here too This is a string of yam Its tubers contain up to 64% starch which is an essential source of starch for In some places, its tubers grow up to 2m deep in the ground. In some places, it grows up to 2m deep in the ground. a dry leech! it's trying to find a host to feed on these mashed potatoes look so pliable I've become a good meal for the forest mosquitoes The roots after replanting it will continue to grow later with this amount of yam I can save and eat for a long time the boiled mashed potatoes are quite delicious ! it is very fragrant and pliable. Today I am going to make a small fish pond There are many rocks here so digging the pond is very difficult I will try to dig as deep and wide as possible There are a lot of big rocks underneath me for it to shelter for the fish now i need to make a drainage pipe Later i will knit small baskets, put in the pipe to prevent the fish from escaping I will make a wall of bamboo to prevent soil erosion into the pond i will make a wooden floor here right under the water trough which is convenient for living I use big, straight and long bamboo trees to form a long water trough that supplies water to the pond This place is a water source at a suitable height to be able to supply water for the pond i had to connect the bamboos into a long pipe One of my rudimentary bamboo water supply lines was finished the water started flowing into the pond it took a few days for the bottom of the pond to form mud only then it was can store water maybe I need to do a second water trough to increase the flow of water in the pond. The rain that lasted since last night still shows no sign of stopping When the spring water rises I need a fish trap to block the flow I use 3 bamboos to weave them together making the gaps as small as possible. well then I can catch even small fish The rain seems to last a few days it makes it hard for me to move in the forest The number of bamboo shoots is so much it makes me dizzy. this number of spokes must be odd or there will be an error while knitting I need to separate the large bamboo slats so that the trap has smaller holes even small fish can get trapped I will put it here, a pretty good place as fish moving downstream will almost certainly fall into this trap. There are some small fish in the pond! it seems to come here from this bamboo trough These are stream-specific fish I need to check the fish trap the trap collects a lot of leaves there are some crabs in the trap and some dead fish With the fish This fish I will put in the pond as food to store the rest of the crabs I will make grilled crab I use this stump as a shelter for the fish or these fish will become a meal for the ferrets Invite friends enjoy the grilled crab! it looks delicious! I am mowing the lawn around and making space for the house to work that is tiring and time consuming! I will continue this work in the cool afternoon while it is sunny I will make a bamboo gate a simple style gate I need to punch some round holes first Now you will see the effect. real use of this sharp knife it can replace professional chisels I need some rectangular holes in this little bamboo to make the gate more interesting I just finished the frame for the gate about the door the gate, I'll finish it later I just found out that the stream has some snails after the flood the other day. This snail is pretty good if it's seasoned, but to me it's just boiled snails. I released some snails in the pond for it to breed and serve as a food reserve I invite you to enjoy with me The shell of this snail is thinner than some other snails but eating all of these snails is tiring whole jaw I'm looking for fish food There's an ant nest over there! This is not the breeding season for ants otherwise I will have a protein meal tonight the fish will have a full meal I have to clear the grass around the shelter so I can plant some plants in it. future The campus after cleaning, looks much better. I need to fix up the fish pond a bit today I use soil to make the mud I use mud to fill the holes in the pond This area is mostly rock so the holes in the pond a lot it prevents the pond water level increased I put several layers of mud along this bamboo wall The bottom of the pond has been renovated by me before so I can rest assured about that. Temporarily my pond is better, need more monitoring I will finish the portal today I am making a shaft for the gate so it can open or close more gently it works pretty well I have to go get some sleep eat This place has a fruit I don't know its scientific name these seeds are edible But with this fruit due to long soaking in water it has a very unpleasant smell After baking, inside these seeds are very delicious it is the favorite food of squirrels and mice This grilled bamboo shoot is quite fragrant when grilled thoroughly, it will not have a bitter taste. I invite you to enjoy with me even though it's well baked but still a bit bitter it's not as good as I thought it would be! It is also possible that different bamboo bushes have different results. Baked bananas seem to be more delicious although a bit hot but without much bitterness. I need to remodel the kitchen a little today I need to make a knitting board right over the fire I use this as a drying oven it can dry food and is termite resistant for some essentials I use rocks to surround and put soil in the middle I want my cooking space a little higher to be nicer. I want to renovate this place to store firewood for cooking this rainy season these trees help keep my upper layer of firewood from getting wet There are squirrels calling over there on the fig tree I remember along Following the stream, there is a rather large dry tree . this will be my backup source of firewood This tree was blown down by the wind a long time ago when its wood has dried up like this with some backup firewood I won't have to worry about long rains. I discovered a cassava plant here it is a type of cassava from ancient times red-stemmed cassava is very friable and delicious you can see the stem of this cassava it is huge and rough maybe it was developed here for a long time This type of cassava used to be grown but because of its low economic efficiency. So science has created some other cassava species with higher economic efficiency. There are a lot of ants here! Its tubers are quite big ! a wild old cassava it is allowing me to harvest very large tubers a fairly long tuber ! too many tubers for a cassava like this but I will save it for the next day with this cassava I can eat in a week Look at this number of tubers, which I find interesting. I need these cassava branches to make seeds it will give me a garden full of these cassava plants I make boiled cassava with this number with these cassava branches I will plant it now I invite you to enjoy with me it is very fatty and delicious with no bitterness at all It's amazing! I am making a fence around the pond when I have some cassava in reserve I spend a lot of time farming and making tools the stones are annoying! it's getting in the way of my work a lot This bamboo has a lot of water inside This water is essential for you when you get lost The sun is getting hotter and hotter How do you feel about this campus? I think it's much nicer than before. I am looking for some plants to grow I need a baby banana tree like this If I plant too many bananas, my garden will be affected by shade so I only need 1-2 plants. these are wild taro plants I need it to grow Taro tubers have oxalate that causes itchy skin it's mainly in taro resin solution So when processing you need to be a bit careful You can wear gloves to avoid skin contact with resin The soil here has high humidity which is very suitable for growing taro there is a beehive somewhere around here it usually gets its water from this place This is the bee that produces the most honey in the rainforest I regularly water these cassava plants expecting growth from it. I think I need an extra mouth for this fish trap so that crabs or fish can't get out on their own I'm taking advantage of this rainy season to find some fish to put in the pond The trap mouth is also woven similar to other traps but larger a bit The ends of the bamboo sticks will be sharpened to prevent fish from trying to get out I need to finish a bamboo bed these are the bed legs I have to mark to make round holes this job takes the longest time for the bed bamboo Each bamboo end will correspond to a round hole so I need to mark it to remember during assembly After marking the places to punch I had to remove the bed to finish the holes and will install reassemble after finishing. small bamboo slats will be used as the bed floor a big rain is coming ! i have to move the bamboo bed into the house my fish trap can work well in this rain The rain was pretty heavy just now, but the stream doesn't seem to change there are some fish in this trap One autumn Pretty big plan! These are typical fish of the forest stream. This fish is very strong, the meat is soft and fragrant. i will grill some fish the rest i release it and the pond the average length of this catfish is between 5cm -20cm it usually hides in crevices and camouflages very well i will make grilled fish and cassava boiled I invite you to enjoy with me the delicious grilled fish! its meat and bones are so tender and sweet I feel it is the best fish in the stream! I'm going to knit a basket in this heavy rain for the finished product to look good these bamboo slats need to be trimmed this is the bottom of the basket I'm going to knit it's shaped like a plate for the cooked food This is a basket when finished. looks pretty nice! I'm designing a bamboo table myself when it's still raining outside These short bamboo slats will make the table legs do the same thing as a bamboo bed I will now wedge the bamboo ends to secure the corners of the table and used some small bamboo slats to make a countertop. I'm moving to find a termite nest I need that soil to make a clay pot there it is! In termite soil, there is a composition of worker's saliva, so this soil is quite flexible. Making a pot from termite soil is an alternative to clay. This amount of soil needs to be made small and smooth. The more thoroughly the soil is kneaded, the plasticity. the older I get I use a basket and lined a layer of banana leaves on top to form the clay pot it 's time to make the most of the tools available I will do the same with the pot lid followed by a bowl I will renovate the outside of this clay pot and make a few necessary additions If it's sunny, it will take 3-4 days for the pot to dry completely The cassava plants have begun to sprout I am planting one more some wild taro I need to weed around for the best growing conditions for the cassava plant I've seen a string of yam here its stem is quite large My pot still hasn't completely dried it will probably lose a little more time before I can burn it. As you can see, it barely has a single crack. Did n't expect this soil to be so good. I'm going to make a chair like you usually see at the resort that can be used to sit and drink or lie in the sun and these are rattan ropes this kind of rope is quite durable and easy to find in the rainforest Today I made a basket fish convenient when I moved to crabbing, fishing here is how I remove the fiber waste and produce durable plastic to cart boilers my land completely dry I'll burn it now I use firewood small to burn it I use rocks to arrange around then put firewood and pot in the middle when this amount of firewood burns out that's when my pot is fully cooked. After a long wait my first clay pot came out luckily no items were damaged it looks pretty good. Thank you for watching the video! Like, share and subscribe to my channel to support me. Thanks
