6 Reasons to Consider a Chromebook

Today we're going to  be looking at six different reasons why I would   recommend a Chromebook to not only a student  but also to uh any working individual out there   and my six reasons are one affordability next  portability great battery life they're secure   they're grateful work and they're grateful play  so let's look at those reasons you and I come on   and first on our list is affordability now here I  have in my hand is an Acer Chromebook found this   one there at Acer recertified for less than $80  and even if you don't want to go to places like   Acer certified you can still find them brand  new at Walmart or Amazon for less than $100 so   basically affordability is key when you're looking  at Chromebook books generally speaking they're   less than 1/5th the cost of a Windows laptop and  I would like to remind everyone to please click   on that thumbs up icon this that really helps the  channel and the video get spread to other people   there and if you haven't done so already please  subscribe to my channel well let's go back to the   reasons why I recommend a Chromebook and next is  portability Chromebooks are very very small and   lightweight for the same size screen they're even  less weight than most Windows laptops for example   I have three sons and they each have Chromebooks  and they take them everywhere they go so whether   they're working in the dining room the living  room or in their bedrooms they're taking their   Chromebooks with them and using them there  Chromebooks tend to be even lighter weight   than ultra light Windows laptop machines and next  is great battery life if you work a lot with your   Chromebooks or your computers then you want  something that's not only portable but it's   going to be versatile and easy to work with  Chromebooks fit the bill they have a long   battery life we can take them anywhere around  without having to plug them in every few hours   in fact the ones that I use generally last more  than 12 hours per charge and next is security   there's no question that Chromebooks are top  when it comes to security right out of the   box they have have built-in anti-malware and  they don't get viruses right when you set one   up in fact they'll ask you if you want to set  up a pin code or a password to log into that Chromebook and next up is work Chromebooks are  perfect fit if you're working individual if you're   doing video calls emails or communicating in other  ways Chromebooks do it perfectly and and if you're   editing or creating documents with Microsoft Word  or you're editing documents of Microsoft Word or   even Microsoft spreadsheets or doing other things  like that Chromebooks are easy to work with and   they do allow you access to edit and create those  types of documents in fact I have other videos on   how you can actually download and use Microsoft  Word and Excel right on your Chromebook now you   can find productivity apps in both the Chrome web  store as well as the Play Store and both of these   are available on Chromebooks now we just covered  things that you can do with your Chromebook and   productivity such as Microsoft Office or  Google Sheets and Google Docks but you can   also play games on your Chromebook so after all  the work is done you can sit down to a nice game   and I'm not just talking about solitire here  but I'm talking about beach buggy racing too for this reason I highly recommend buying  a Chromebook with a touch screen so you can   actually use the games that you find at  the Play store or the Chrome web [Music] store so there you have it the six reasons why  I recommend Chromebooks now some may ask in   the comment section well which Chromebooks  do I actually recommend or any Chromebook   will actually work as long as it has the  features that you want for example when I   look at a Chromebook or for a Chromebook I  usually want a touchcreen I want a backlit   keyboard and normally a screen size large  enough for me to see it normally a 14 or   inch or larger size screen but it all really  depends on what you need hey if you like these   types of videos please give it a thumbs  up comment down below if you have an idea   or question about Chromebooks or anything to  do with technology and if you haven't done so   already please subscribe to my channel I like to  say a big thank you to all those who've watched to   the end and what I'm going to leave you with  is one game of playing beach buggy racing 2   right on a Chromebook so you can see how smooth it  really plays on a HP 14a Chromebook well bye-bye [Music] [Music]   w w w w [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music]   a [Music] [Music] [Music]   he [Music] he
