6 Classy TRAVEL OUTFIT IDEAS | Cute & Comfy!

hey y'all happy Friday if you are watching this I bet you're getting ready to go on vacation comment below because I'm nosy I want to know where you're going as a seasoned traveler I've learned that the two most important things when it comes to my travel outfit are style and comfort equally one cannot exist without the other I want to look Chic relaxed and classy but I have to be super comfortable whether I'm sprinting to a gate or I'm on a 12-hour international flight It's gotta work to do that without effort I stick to a few Style Guidelines and these guidelines are the basis for what I'm going to show you today first I choose Fabrics that have give and stretch they're more comfortable they keep their shape better which is key to looking fresh and cute the day that you're traveling too I avoid anything binding enough said three I always bring a layering option like a generous cardigan Duster or a chunky knit scarf something I can scrunch up and easily put into my tote you never know if the plane is going to be too hot too cold so I always need that option finally I generally always choose neutral colors neutral colors are the ones that to me always look the most relaxed Chic classy think whites and ivories tans and camels Grays black Navy that is what I'm doing for you today I've got six cool travel looks copy them directly or just use them for inspiration to these tinsel joggers with an ivory cozy boat neck sweater a chunky scarf and accessories this is from Banana Republic I created this specific outfit based on the tinsel jogger that you see what is tinsel and why should you love it utensil is a super friendly travel fabric it's one of those rare Fabrics that doesn't crinkle or wrinkle easily if it does you can easily shake out the wrinkle that is ideal for travel they're actually really well priced you guys are originally seventy dollars they took fifty percent off of that then you get another 15 at checkout so the pants are about thirty dollars you can't beat that with the stick it's got an elasticized waistband it's Fuller through the hits and the legs and it is elasticized at the ankle I put this with a slouchy Ivory boat neck sweater this chunky neutral scarf is my layering piece to keep me warm rubber sold wedge slides to bring it all together then I finished it with my favorite Ray-Ban aviators and my new favorite travel reasons one they're very very well priced for a designer brand they're definitely under 200 I know it sounds like a lot for sunglasses but you know how some of those sunglasses can be super expensive like four or five six hundred dollars and they're Timeless it's almost like wearing a nude shoe it looks classy and Polished without being too out there ladies if you haven't yet subscribed to my Wellness Beauty and travel look number two Ivory pants a classic Ivory slouchy turtleneck sweater and this sweater Blazer that I am loving because it combines two of my favorite elements it gives the polished C classy look of a Blazer or a jacket without the bindingness it is a knit sweater fabric so it's got give and it's comfortable it's one of my favorite pieces I love the look of a jacket but I've learned not to buy them anymore every time I put them on I feel contained and I gotta be free sweater Blazer is from J.Crew exceptionally priced at 158 dollars it comes in regular and plus sizes which I always try to look for it's like secretly walking around in a snuggly blanket but you look good try it with these relaxed cotton twill pants they're 98 cotton two percent elastane which gives you just enough give to make them comfortable okay you guys side note on this pant and you know I'm always super honest with you never will I ever suggest something frumpy to you but I think they look really dorky in all of the other colors except for Ivory that is just my personal opinion also ignore the styling making something look cool and Chic is all about how you style it they didn't style their models very well but I saw a diamond in the rough for travel and I think that what I put together here really works well I added the ivory slouchy turtleneck because it's a favorite classic I have two or three in my closet because I wear them all the time but feel free to swap it out for a lighter weight sweater or for a t-shirt if that's more comfortable to you either way it works okay number three all right AKA favorite travel pants and this gorgeous wrap I love this color combination of black with this beautiful mahogany Sienna color I just think it's a beautiful Rich neutral color these endless pants by Athleta are 109 I love them so much I built this entire outfit around them they are made of 86 recycled polyester and 4 14 spandex so they've got the perfect amount of stretch but they they will keep their shape they're also incredibly flattering it's a good basic they're semi-fitted they skim easily over the body the pant sits at the natural waistline it has a soft wide waistband that holds you in for a flattering silhouette it came in all sizes regular tall petite and plus sizes as well and it has a side zippered pocket to store Essentials it's flattering it's versatile it's comfortable it's very Audrey hepburn-esque I added a simple high quality black T-shirt and then I opted for this relaxed Chic layering piece it's a soft Breezy wrap also by Athleta soft stretchy perfect for travel will fit easily into your tote it adds that perfect beautiful rich saturated color to offset your outfit side note you guys this morning I was finishing creating all of these outfits for you every once in a while something will pop up and it's like squirrel I get sidetracked okay I need to show you this if you're looking for a classy Sleek non-front which I never give you frumpy stuff this is by Tumi it's made of durable nylon gleaming beautiful Hardware it's spacious on the inside with tons of organizational features you know how important organization is especially when you're traveling a padded compartment that fits a 15 inch laptop an exterior slip sleeve on the back to easily slide over the telescoping handle of your rolling luggage imperative for hands-free and because it's made of nylon it's extremely durable scratch resistant waterproof and to me is a very high quality Bank you guys you know what it reminds me of stamp I gotta get this remember this bag that I showed you my new Tom Ford bag doesn't it kind of look like my Tom Ford bag the exposed chunky gold zipper is what reminded me of it right away I love the black I like the gray it also came in lavender which I hate I didn't like the lavender look number four are these slouchy chinos the model that they have is wearing a bit of a crop top and I don't like wearing a crop top when I travel and really anytime um just kind of over it I love this particular look for its effortless Chic extra slouchy with plenty of room for those long flights so it gives it that cool relaxed Chic look that we're going for like anything it's all in the way you style it pro tip you guys you can virtually take any piece that in and of itself you would think looks frumpy and based on the way that you style it meaning the top you put with it whether you roll the sleeves up whether you do a sloppy tuck the shoes you wear the way you do your hair the earrings can take it from ew I would never wear that too wow she makes that look really good it's all in the styling and I had to pair it with this pink it's an oversized saturated pink button-down cotton top I love it with the chinos because it totally brightens it up and I just kept it super simple with a pair of puffy black slides my layering piece is this open cozy duster cardigan and how much are you loving these flipping sunglasses you guys all right the sunglasses are expensive I'm going to be honest those are Bottega venetas everything else is extremely a affordable look number five thanks jumpsuit love this one I found it last night for y'all I loved it so much I bought two for myself the Khaki and I bought the green color and since it's by Spanx you know it's going to be super flattering petite regular tall and plus sizes this is probably one of my favorite Silhouettes it skimmed the upper body it said comfortably around the waistline to give you definition and then it's got flowy looseness through the legs and most importantly Pockets you know I love Pockets I have to have pockets so easy to throw on and look Chic especially for those early morning flights soft comfortable stretchy yet it holds you in because well it's Spanish so it does for my traveling layer piece I love it with this closet staple which is an open duster cardigan in White on sale by the way 79 on sale and the sporty Chic sneakers now hold up you might be saying but Shelly you said don't ever wear sneakers okay maybe I said that maybe I didn't here's why they work this jumpsuit is a cross between sleek and sporty so it called for a sporty shoe don't try to make a jumpsuit like this something it's not by putting a fancy shoe with it it doesn't work you need sporty the fresh whiteness of this sneaker with a tan accent says sporty Chic affluent wealthy all over in my opinion this sweater makes me look huge finally look number six is this culture style maxi dress before you say ew maxi dress on a plane I gotcha I wouldn't wear a maxi dress on a long flight this is for a quick trip we live in Southern California so if Oliver and I are going to Vegas which is only a 45 minute flight I would wear something like this if we're driving up the coast to go to Beverly Hills for the weekend and I want to look cute when we pull into the valet this is something that I would wear I love the flowiness I love the graphic design I love the effortless shape of this entire dress it's got subtle beating accent at the neckline and in terms of accessorizing it because the dress is such a statement piece keep the rest really simple you could go with a black flat like she's wearing here I happen to find this fisherman sandal now a fisherman sandal is exactly what this is It's like a platforming jute soul with the strappy leather as you see I threw in a sand tote and my signature oversized black movie star sunglasses you're thinking but can I I wear my black bag of course you can absolutely a black bag works this is why I chose Ivory this dress is very spring summery in order to keep the look light and fresh I added a lighter color bag if you add a black bag it just looks a little bit heavier than the ivory or the sand colored bag does that's the only reason I did it use these looks for inspiration you can either copy them directly or you can say you know I like that overall look but I would put it with a black bag and I'd put it with a simple black sandal that's what it's all about it's doing what makes you feel the best I'm just here to help this isn't for travel this is probably when you get to your destination I thought it was so pretty I have to show you this strapless pleated maxi dress this is the perfect luxury resort Dinner dress yourself if you will Four Seasons now we you're having a sexy candlelight dinner Alfresco at spago looking out over the Pacific Ocean and you whisk in with your beautiful pleated perfect Resort dress best of all something like this is not going to wrinkle you're going to scrunch it up stick it in your suitcase oh that reminds me you guys you know what I'm gonna do if you want me to comment below I'm gonna do a whole video
