us money to keep this show going today's mix up you have one of the lightest cars against one of the heaviest cars this is the david vs goliath the big show versus rey mysterio europe versus america let's just go check it out okay all right what's going on man how are you doing good can you please introduce yourself and tell us what you have brought today my name is paul moore i'm from uh gildred racing in bulton california this was a flagship build for their for their shop about five years ago oh this is 74 mark 1 mini cooper this has been converted to a mid engine and uh in the back behind the front seats flies a uh a j series six cylinder supercharged wow and um so it's not not a four-cylinder right can we check that out yeah mid-engine mid-engine what are they what are they called a truck supercharger yes a boot a boot in the boot this is a j-32 out of a nissan skyline and it uses um like a j-34 crank it's not right tyler tyler you just be like okay on this thing on it what's the deal what's the deal okay this is a mid-2000 acura cl type s rear mounted and it's a v6 3.2 liter board out 3.5 and all built now from the back you can only really work on so much is there any other way to get to the components it's all removable we built it so that it all can be accessed and then underneath you can pull parts oh nice so you just could you just like drop it out the bottom yeah well that's what he was mentioning we we actually build these for people so the next ones are going to be way more tricky how much is this one this one's like 200 grand if you want it right now no i'm all right nope nope so what kind of power does this make all in this car is about 500 horsepower okay uh how's this away yeah what is this neighborhood of 2000 oh my god it's like it's slightly bigger than a motorcycle yes what now do you have any problems with breaking axles in here no not yet this car hasn't broken anything yet well then maybe we can change that today wait time come to the right place yeah i can change that so you got a lot of horsepower in this thing it doesn't weigh anything relative you know power to weight ratio so what are you doing for stopping and going yeah we're running a wheel wood brake package in the front uh on about a 10 inch rotor 10 and a half inch rotor and then we're using a nissan caliper in the back on nissan hub they're so small yeah now did you did you pick this wide stance because you had to fit the trans axle in there yeah exactly okay so then the front end is widened also is that just offset on wheels it has been widened yeah i see like a pretty gnarly looking uh billet machine shifter set up in there the whole cage yeah the idea it's real clean and you got power windows air conditioning power windows old car modern technology and then i see this big dash you got in here what's that all about it's a little entertainment center you've got um you know your information center it's got your uh infotainment playlist and all that stuff tunes and all right exactly yeah this is true hot riding at its finest find the smallest car show the biggest motor into it no traction control no paddle shift none of that we just got old-school underneath i want to see this getting into the hellcat we see a lot of hellcats but what is this what spice does this have that doesn't come on most factory hellcats you supercharged obviously yeah supercharged carbon fibers let's just say full bolt-ons a little bit of this a little bit of that i'm gonna keep it a little discreet but oh you drag racers but yeah it's uh about a thousand horsepower that means it's over yeah i mean i see powder-coated stock yeah nice pretty candy i assume smaller pulley yeah two five rubber pulleys a straight pipe no cats i mean obviously you got the drag pack so can you run through your your wheel and tire setup um well i actually borrowed these from a friend i'm not sure what's on the front like the diameter but i got 305 i think 45 uh 17s on the rear hoping to get traction we'll see is there anything else special going on on it like you got anything going on the rear end transmission diff brace we got 114 octane in it right now it's probably not cheap right now i got some special juice in there what's it what's it cost per gallon of that like 15 a gallon and is that unleaded or leather i'm not positive on that it doesn't matter hey nobody cares all right well look obviously you have your uh race shoes on so yeah you should get to making out what we're about to do here all right so typically how we do this is we do a heads up drag race to a thousand foot and then from there we can negotiate that work for you great sounds awesome let's do it let's go have some fun that's race uh i really want to go with the v8 but i just i'm rooting for this little car dude italian job was such a sick movie let's go with the mini cooper they sold me when they said it's built to drive built the race i'm gonna have to go with the mini i don't like jet packs scat packs hell cats whatever the hell that thing is over there red car no offense jensen but i'm going with the super 100. [Music] very appropriate amount of rev limiter [Music] [Music] oh [Music] oh yo our boy blew the trunk off it our boy blew the trunk damn ron that is super cooper took a thousand from a dig five cars at the finish line [Music] you blew your own damn doors off all right yeah yeah this thing is fast we're hoping for a first failure it's not taking five years a i don't know why this makes me so happy that this thing party so hard this thing is fast as [ __ ] do you think this thing will do a roll let's do it let's just find out yeah yeah yeah yeah team hellcat we gotta have a chat all right so uh what is what do you want to do here maybe a roll can we do a roll we can do a roll what's your ideal roll what do you want us to go take to them what can we do 40. you can do that all right okay 40 rolls so 40. set the pace we'll have him pick you okay [Music] round two [Music] haven't broke anything yet no wait wait wait there's more i broke [Music] it what just happened i like the exhaust or is that the muffler the uh the pipe off the muffler is just clamped in place and that clamp seems to have come slightly loose now i just have to untape the whole trunk lid i don't know what happened there yeah i got a pop and a bunch of smoke that she she cut out but it's running again so i don't it's uh your exhaust came off oh the exhaust came off she can't lose so i'm just gonna tighten it up [Music] now that the mini cooper's fixed we're going to be doing a thousand foot 40 mile an hour roll so [Music] [Applause] i have no clue that was the race we needed right there that's a good race they were dead even at 500 damn held that by three oh wow wow 500 it was tight remember i think yeah we just do a dig [Music] so what happened at the top it sounded like you miss shifted yeah i just uh i started running out of gear in this thing for sure yeah it sounded really good when you miss shipped it so i'm not even mad about it yeah it sounds really cool we need to run you guys from a dig again okay think dig to the 500 to the 500 congratulations you're officially the winner good job got it by three cars says you had a mischief at the top spun the whole way you did the entire way so we're thinking for a bonus race straight dig to a thousand you got him by three cars on that you already won the race this is just for just for fun yeah yeah can i have my boys in there yeah can i have my brothers hop in yeah get all your boys in yeah we need the balance boys [Music] [Music] a lot i'm interested to hear him say it didn't spin as much watch [Applause] [Music] balance boy yo the fluffy guys in the bag helped a lot puppy guys in the bag time to make the donuts next [Music] uh [Applause] emotional well-being
